You can easily attach a cmaera using a simple screw, which is screwed through a beam. I think its M6. I got the camera here: https://www.mimovrste.com/sportne-kamere-in-oprema/sony-hdr-as30?v=581039 I will later post the pictures of the almost finished model and the screws. -

You forgot to put on of the planetary 8 tooth gears on one side of the axle. Its missing where the U joint is slightly out of alignment. I like the limited slip diff. -

When I just shaw the picture I was like WOW! That looks so elegant and awesome, even if its not 100% finished/working yet. Its a really uniqued model! I suggest you to use RC system , or Sbrick for these kinds of long control distances.

If you have a mechanism with a feedback - AKA servo, than electronics can do wonders for all kinds of steering configurations. Purely mechanical solutions are rather too complex if not impossible.
