If you can find them purpose...these parts are really useful, mainly 'cos they offer a great range of positions and rigid connections. I used variations of them for this, for example: I am also using lots of these bionicle parts for similar kind of suspensions and to create a "human" skeleton in 1:13 so I can have a realistic pose-able dummy for trucks and machinery.

Love that old bricks and plates! Great model. As already said, it could be a bit longer, but great nevertheless!

May I offer you advice? Don't make double posts (two consecutive posts by yourself). It is not very acceptable on the forums. Even worse, you make six consecutive posts in a single day...it may even be annoyingly. If people find something interesting, they will write something, if they not, they wouldn't. At the end of the day, it does not matter if people post something regarding your build. As long as you have fun, and learn something, and improve yourself, time invested in building it was worth it. So, try to improve this build by yourself, with guidance from sources like Lego models or creations from other people, like i suggested to you two days ago.

Imo, it is much better to try for yourself, 10 times if it is needed. You will get a lot of valuable experience and you will improve your build so much more. That is the beauty of the Lego. If you really feel the need for some inspiration, try looking at the official models, chassis, suspensions and drivetrains, and after that try checking out some of the models that people built.

Hey guys, thanks for all your opinions. As much as I looked at all the (soviet) trucks, it looks like the best match is really Olive and Sand green, but Dark Gray really has best match some some trucks, too. Well, I guess I would have to make 3 trucks :)

While I really like projects like this, and support this one, it feels somewhat bland when creators of this product remain silent about questions asked here. It just does not feel good. Similar thing was going on with Sbricks topic. Hope the creators of this topic will be more active here.

Nicjasno's working lego pneumatic engines (lpe). While they contain modified cylinders and switches, they can work with non-modified ones.

Looks very good. Although I must agree with opinions that it does look a bit too tall or thin, compared to the real truck. I know it may be hard to redesign a section now, but i am sure you will make it perfect at the end! Crane is awesome as well!

Yes, lego is listening, and they read this site, too. There is a one person, member on this forum, that did 95% of work for all of us to get longer pneumatics :)

Checked before selecting those three colors, all have necessary parts for the truck. But ordering through lots of different stores will be required. Oh well, it is a project after all. Thanks for your reply!

Hi, Can you please help me choosing the closest color from Lego available colors to match this trucks color. What would you chose: 1. Dark green 2. Olive green 3. Sand green 4. ??? All three are ok choices imo, Problem is that Lego colors are a bit different in real life and on screen, so while it seems that Olive green is best match, in real life Sand green might be even closer, so help me guys!
