[PORSCHE] Porsche 964 (911)
Milan replied to paave's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks very authentic! One of the best looking entries. I would put a smaller steering wheel. This one is too big, imo. -

I am willing to wait for a proper review in full of its glory, but I know lots of guys would like to see the pictures before that. (I want to see them, too, ofc, but would rather wait a bit more). -
Large RC Crane
Milan replied to wissamms's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
There is actuator. Big one, with two rams, powered by two XL motors, visible nicely at 3:15. Actuator is based on standard brickbuilt actuator with gear racks and worm gears. -

Yeah, that might happen sometimes. You might get more replies in Bricklink topic, or on Brickling forum itself. Two weeks is not that bad for economy mail, i had orders that took more than two monts to arrive, Continental Europe to Continental Europe, and I did not give neutral or negative, simply because I was in contact with the seller all the time, and he did not have any neutral or negative, so i trusted that he did his part of the deal. Good practice is to check the seller before posting an order. These kind of stuff (slow shipping, no-replying, slow service) are usually reflected in his feedback page by few unsatisfied customers via neutral or neutral feeds. I would say, if you are happy with the parts you got, just move on and forget about it. -

And rechargeable battery does not cut power due to the overload from 5 XLs? -

Nice and massive! You are using just one battery box for 5 XL motors? -

You should post more content, not only one picture with no text, and link to YT. Write something about it. Why is the engine moving with steering, and not with the driving? -

Would Porsche's wheel arches fit? Or they are a bit too big? -

Brick built U-Joints could fit next to the diff housing, but probably not next to the wheels...too bad. -

Allan, it may be better to remove the link, and save the pic somewhere else, easily available. Also, what is the gray piece on the front bumper, just next to the bumpers headlight...it looks like 1x2 thin liftarm, but it also look too thick? New part? -

Great oval shape! You should perhaps try to place the battery box on the roof, to look like a air condition unit (with some slopes added). -

You already have a maximum of four of them, but I am sure something could be arranged for a moc of this magnitude- 16 replies

Amazing how one L motor can propel this thing! :) It looks gorgeously! Dark green is great here. Body looks a bit fragile. But it holds very well in the video.

Love the colors! I am also investing some time and money to get some unusual and rare colored parts.
