[TC8] [WIP] Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1
Milan replied to Milan's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks TIm! I tried to use the simplest and most efficient mechanisms, since i don't have so many motors. So, for the steering I just used 2 Servo motors, one for the front axle, and one for the rear two axles. They are connected directly to steering racks. I will try to post details about actuator once i finish the full review. Thanks, man! I appreciate your following of this build! Realism was one the main goals here, together with the functionality. Thanks! Thanks! My favorite scales are 1:13 and popular 1:16, so next one will be smaller! Thanks, Edwin! Performance are pretty good, speeding of the video was esential to keep the video short. Advance boom proved to work, but unfortunately not enough time and parts to implement it on time. Great about the wheels! And YES, outriggers can lift and hold the crane when it is operating! Thanks, man! -

Thanks a lot, Nick! Yes, since i wanted to save one function in that way. Crane can lower itself and outriggers sits on the supports i place beneath them (like a worker put wooden support pads under the real one) Thanks, mate! It seems that size did the trick :) -

Thanks guys! Yeah, i needed around 2 more weeks. Main thing, advance 4 section boom design and 2 jib sections. Also, some cosmetic touches. I sure hope so! Anyway, video is here: Some parts of the video are speed up. -

Hey guys, thanks for all the nice comments! Few hours till the deadline, it is finished... I will just post a few photos, video is uploading and will set alarm to wake me up to post it in the entry topic. Full review and description tomorrow. Apparently, it attracts girls with puppies. Also, great for a size comparison :) -
Welcome to Eurobricks. Have fun!

Welcome Tyrell. Lego does not produce such sets simply because they would be too expensive and heavy. The closest were model team sets which had some technic functions in them, like steering.
