nice small craft...suggestion: just work out its standing stability and it will be perfect!

Well, as I have complete collection of all the LEGO Space sets ever build (oh, OK, like 10 sets still missing) I identify "the black tyre with black inner part" in the middle picture in its upper left section: if we are talking about CS, then it is either from the set #6950 from the year 1982 ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=6950-1 ), or the set #6952 from year 1985 ( http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=6952-1 - this was my 5th CS LEGO I had as a child in the 80's so I'm pretty familiar with it, you know )

Well, as for the concept itself: astonishingly great, inovative and all - I like it very very much! BUT as of a model from the "model-handling' point-of-you: all those tiny small pieces that could look very impressing for the eyes (in which they really do in this particular case) they are very bad for practical use if we are saying someone should play with it, cos they tend to fall off all the time etc., until you plan not for playing but just for a pure presentation, then all this "small-tiny-bricks" complaining is pointless, of course... Anyway, fine job

BTW I would like to see some droid in minifig shape for Classic Space theme with the golden moon logo...wondering how it'd be looking if there ever was one?
-
wow, besides that interesting and nice scene I really like the camera focus (focal blurs) on some pictures, bravo!
-
Ah, really: everytime I see something that's great like this one I always tend to do one by myself, anyway it always stay just with the initial thought
-
Nah, good color combination is still a big plus for a set
-
perfect!

just a suggestion: wouldn't it be better if the front big part was transparent? Oh,,if it is not render but actual real built then forget my thought

...and here is a hypothetical LEGO box for this MOC: Model modularity: Find out more on set's official webpage: http://lego.queryen....691509.php?j=en You can see it also at MOC Pages here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/408636 LEGO Ideas direct link (please, give it your support there if you really like it...thanx):

I am using spoiler tag when I want to have some info in the post for the viewers to see that for example may be a bit bigger or not that much important, so noone is forced to go thru it first, only if he wants to see/know more about the stuff in the message then he can click the spoiler and that additional info text will appear (like when I post my MOC rendered design I do not necessarily want disturbing everyone reading the stuff why I named the set the way I did or why I chosen the colors I have chosen netc.)
-
I have chosen Exploriens just because of the ridiculous trans-neon green 1x1 round brick at the top of its head, priceless!
-
nice render
-
as others already said I also agree that those sand dunes looks very nice, overall coloring is very good too

I would add CS head from both sides
-
Not quite much expensive: cca. 17€ + 8€ + 5€ insured shipping, ordered from Germany BL shop...
-
Hah, just today I ordered both sets, still sealed, from BL of course...so thanx for the inspiration (as I said elsewhere in the forum I have all LEGO Space sets but still from time to time I found some new elements actually belonging to a Space theme that I missed somehow previously, like in fact the Rock Riders and now this two )
-
Well, I'm not quite sure but I think I see it somewhere around this forum...

I happily already have one for a long time now...so quickly, guys - on a side note I need to say that the set looks nice to the eyes, BUT is quite pain-in-the-@#$ to build it, not mentioning actually playing it: pieces do not stick tightly as the build is really designed quite poorly from the point of view (they probably looked more to design than to "sturdiness" of the build), it's "shaky" right in the concept (many small and tiny parts holding just by one connection etc) anyway having 2 green CS minifigs is awesome! Exactly! For some reason they completely abandon space bases (centrals, HQ...call it anyway you like), Space Squad having some interest design concepts but the need for a big space central is quite high I guess...still hope they rerelease one of CS flagship brick that was the crater baseplate...ahhhh

Nice, but wait, now I am quite curious: I thought it is restricted here using original LEGOLAND box cover concept (although you have changed the actual word to something else) for your (ours) pseudo-sets designs, isn't it???

very nice indeed my friend - Futuron & Blacktron were great themes on a side note: wow to those 3 pics of the Aliens LEGO you have in your avatar (or how is it named, ah, this english, it kills me, really ) - is it your work? is it render or real build? BTW 6987 Message Intercept Base - I am also one of those few amongst us having this great set...ehm, besides all the other LEGO Space sets that were ever build (OK, actualy like 10 sets still missing, but all the others are here )
