OK, and one more thing: from the picture it is not clear but are you aware of the fact that all slopes there should have the grain on their slew parts INCLUDING PC SLOPE BRICKS?

grainy sloped bricks material
___ replied to ___'s topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Well, today I successfully found out why the rotation does not work in my script: it is because of LDR Import script - although it places all the bricks in the exact right rotation to the scene it states brick's rotation values wrongly in Blender's GUI in object rotation fields where all bricks are stated as their rotation is always 0, but it should correspond to .ldr brick's rotation (which is not), and therefore newly replaced bricks are always not rotated (rotation = 0) simply because of this fact alone...and I think this could be clearly taken as a bug in LDR Import addon script Aaaaah, so many days lost scratching my head thinking I did something wrong just to find out it is not my fault...probably -

Well, then it's probably OK that 5 minutes loading time - I am only loading my test file of set #493 which has 40mb still working on my Blender LEGO addon (actually all is functional except one thing that for some strange reason rotation of replaced bricks do not work, gotta find what is wrong but being lost at the moment for a few days... ), so I can return to v1.1.5 -
My question is: do you design it first in SW and than buy all your needed bricks via BrickLink or do you have a whole bunch of bricks and you simply pick one at the time and try to build something? I am questioning this because it is a lot of bricks...

I like the idea too as others , but being LEGO Space guy I have to tell you that it does not look like Blacktron at all, sorry...but probably that was not the point of this entry, then excelent work

As others said before me interesting design, nice...and those yellowed white parts reminded me my old LEGO sets immediately

perfects, Fabuland was my sister's most wanted theme from LEGO in 80's but she never had one...and I never knew Fabulanders are so good spaceship builders...ehm, if it should be something like that 100 points to you for this, haha!

That's OK, but I am telling you that both 1.1 and 1.1.5 are loading my .ldr file like for about 5 minutes...so I guess v1.1.5 did not repair this. -
Gee OMG...very very nice, Darats, this was actually my very first LEGO set I have got from my parents as a gift at the end of the school in second class...of course having it also today being a part of my Space complex

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
___ replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Actually, I think if anyone from TLG watch from time to time this forum they must see that the Benny character and his CS stuff have the biggest hype from all in the TLM, so...logicaly I would think next movie should be about him, what do you think? To me it looks fantastic just as imagination alone, but who knows?- 228 replies

___ replied to Calabar's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
OK, no problem and understood...and as I said elsewhere in the forum I being webdesigner/programmer myself understand this very well so what I do not understand is why the script itself does not remove images from quotes automatically and leave only the text? In fact it is not that hard to do at all...maybe you should contact admin of your forum to make this easy little change so you would have not need to remove it yourself all the time like this, Calabar- 5,041 replies

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
___ replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
@Rufus: BTW your Fabuland avatar...and as I see also in many other stuffers avatars - seems like it is special for you and I understand it very well...it was such a great theme once too and I remember as kids my younger sister always wanted it but she never really got any (you know, it was 80's living in socialistic Czechoslovakia then when the only small LEGO shop was in our capital...geeee ) P.S.: after many yeras, well this year I bought two Fabuland figures just for a nostalgia for my sister's children...nice- 228 replies

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
___ replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The set looks amazingly good and as someone else says really like some grown up classic space (if I can tell from looking at my classic space legokomplex here at home right now )...well,,I already made a place for it in there actually But yea, those stickers again...ah, why not real prints on bricks as in old days, gee, is it really that big price difference to it? P.S.: and of course, the review...one thinks how can be something like this even written by a human being...it is just so detailed and to the core of the thing, superb!- 228 replies
