  1. I would very like to see Fabuland composition only from original Fabuland bricks, you know, those thin bigger parts and stuff, that would be great...any plans for something like that? I also like the dark gray rocks combination with green bricks simulating grass, very nic indeed. On side note: I was child in early/mid 80's in Czechoslovakia, and me and my younger sister were always so jealous on "western" kids when we see these green Fabuland sets with their beautiful boxes in LEGO catalogues I have from my bigger space sets (like #6970, #6971, #6980 etc.) that simply unobtainable there at those times (the were only one small LEGO shop in our capital for the hole republic, gee...strange nostalgy ). Ah... Anyway: good work, guys! Keep it going.
  2. haha, Fabulantastic...simply Fabulantastic - great!
  3. Well, actually, you do not need Hrontos nor his SW for that (as its SW basically pick some basic attributes of PovRay and make it easier to adjust them for those having no skills in PovRay scripts + of course, it enables us using our .lxf directly with PovRay and that is the main purpose of his LDD-to-Povray SW which is feature we will be thankful for forever ), you only have to make Polygon in Povray and bend it, but I chosen somewhat easier approach (well, from my point of view, that do not require no extra special skills in PovRay although one needs to know things or two about PovRay scripts anyway )
  4. perfect idea in principle! but I am a bit afraid that nowadays many ppl are so lazy to even answer a simple question not saying catalogize their LEGO bricks
  5. guys, just a question maybe I still do not get it but what for do you need those super high res images??? Really,,where you can see it in its whole real size not reduced? It seems even more more strange to me when you realize that you hosting those images on a server that shows it shrinked by default and there is still so few ppl that actualy care/mind to click on the preview shrinken picture and see it in its real dimensions...and again most of them,,if they do,,cannot see it unshrinked either on their 1920x1080 LCDs... See, I understand that theoretically the higher resolution the better image, but practically at least at this given time and space there is just still only very small amount of ppl that can see it in its whole 4k resolution beauty state, so... And that said: as you may know smaller images give you much smaller rendering times
  6. And I do not agree with you on this, sorry (I rather prefer what legolijntje said): when I look at render I expect to see it as in "normal" conditions, just like I see it when I work with real LEGO bricks, not that super clean and polished therefore to me it's more natural when it is as you have said "dull and almost like in a shadow"...
  7. No, you cannot do that (as Calabar already said before me), although I can imagine very simple modificator key (like holding down ALT,,CTRL, SHIFT or their combinations) while clicking the brick of some group for activating exactly that function you are asking for...actually it'd be quite useful I guess,,go and try ask for it in new LDD 5 (there is forum for this somewhere here)
  8. having problem downloading needed SQLCE Runtime, Google didn't help at all in obtaining some other links for it, can anyone post it somewhere for downloading, please? Suggestion for developer: could you please add the runtimes instalation file directly to you server so we are not dependent on not functioning Microsoft services anymore, please?
  9. I'd like to see SPACE RCB but without subtheme restrictions, it is: all known subs of LEGO Space would be allowed to participate
  10. Probably because that is considered by LDD as illegal connection? See, in real life LEGO I can stick any brick into holes of technic perfored bricks and it sticks as hell,,but try it in LDD and no success - you would need to stick some 1x1 bricks into every single hole in the technik brick and only then you can apply the normal brick to it, you see? So who knows? Maybe there is some "trick" for you brick too...
  11. Would there be a SPACE RCB like this for year 2015? I would be very very interested in participating and rendering Actually, those roads are wrong for a space theme as you may know
  12. 1.) all the bricks should be decorable by default (doesn't matter if the bricks has real decoration in real LEGO letting users use their imagination) 2.) instalation file should have only some basic bricks lowering its size drasticaly with all the bricks LEGO ever build reside on their server devided into thematical or "brick types" packages so anyone in need could ddl any brick he wants, which would avoid the size problem if all those bricks were packed into instalation file as it is now. In the LDD GUI for those bricks not realy presented there would be only a simple thumbnail of it and after clicking the thumbnail the brick file would be downloaded to a PC, or if there is no internet at the moment (user being offline) just a link given with the address where the apropriate brick file could be reached and installed to LDD. This way there would really be no need for LDD team permanently erasing of some old bricks as I understand it like that they need to save file's size
  13. I have a question: is there a project like this for SPACE theme?
  14. I would rather see ability to decorate all the bricks (they do not need to put any actual deco for them, for a start just let the functionality be there, that'd be quite enough for the beggining) than any new brick, actually.
  15. Can I ask what are you trying to build?
  16. Well, as I said in the Adobe AfterEeffects you have predefined objects you can use in you projects, and there are also flashes from guns, bombs etc., so although the SW if primarily for video effects editing, you can still make a single FRAME SHOT PICTURE EXPORT to, let's say, a .png file, therefore having not photorealistic but RATHER REAL gun shots and stuff like that. So my suggestion is this: go to Adobe website, download the trial version and give it a try...
  17. yea, trans orange looks fantastic to me (I first saw it in Mars Mission LEGO SPACE subtheme)
  18. As the popular saying here goes: "In simplicity beauty lays"
