Nice design, but shouldn't the track be in the middle if there is just a single one?- 13 replies

Nice facade, I really like the grey minifigs and the tower( especially the roof section). It's also nice to see a very detailed back, e.g. balconies on different levels. Brick on thomassio

Thanks for all the comments. Yes, when I first made it it reminded me of something like this: Here in Europe it is very common (I don't think in the UK though) Well, here you have your pics. Couldn't find better minifigs. Hope that helps

That's a really nice project, I already supported it on Cuusoo. Really has potential for a Lego set!

Looks like a promising plan, I'm looking forward to this

This is a graveyard I was working on in the last couple days. I got the idea by trying to build a crucifix not just with 'normal' bricks. Soon I built one that really reminded me of one on graveyards, so I tried to make different ones on top of different graves. Enjoy! The grave with the original cross design: Check out my flickr account for bigger images. P.S.: Sorry, that one grilled slope piece got off the wall, I'll put it on there again when I find it.

Really nice creation, never would have thought to build it like it is built in real life ! The house itself looks very nice as well!

Just saw them over on flickr, they look stunning, especially the Deltic looks good with her length!

Thomas the Tank Engine and James the Red Engine

Great looking models , though they are obviously not minifig scale ! -
Looks really nice, the stairs that go down on the platform are really well designed , but why is that platform in the middle, when there is one on the left? Shouldn't that move to the right side?

Is it only me, or does anybody else think that the roof segments of the station are new rounded parts?
-
Fantastic, I really like how much detail you have put in that engine.

Lovely buildign the green fits especially for this shop

I really like the whole idea of an engine depot with turntable, especially the roof came out very nicely. May I just ask what happened to the previous version, where the stalls were at an angle to each other, so a "true" roundhouse?

Really nice, looks much better now!

I think when you attach the connection rods, all the engine's wheels will spin, so there will be less traction, don't know though, if this will change when coupled to some rolling stock?!

Oh, I deleted that message (because of that I didn't know what you meant with message), as I thought you were using that method, but then realized you where using a normal train motor. And here the links: http://www.flickr.co...rix/5146516568/ http://www.flickr.co...ing/8768990689/ http://www.flickr.co...N07/8885162871/ Edit: found another engine.

Sorry, I just don't get what you mean with "getting the wheels closer together" . These are BBB XL drivers, that's why they are that close, I just took that pic myself .
