    I've tried making 19 long black ones with 2 common 11 longs before. I just measured them, cut them and glued them with loctite gel glue. It worked pretty well.

    Just finished watching all of the vids. Some really great looking models. Can't wait to pick them all up. Why is that?

    There is also the style of placing beams over flex axles to get curves and give a solid appearance.

    Does anyone know if the 42039 is going to be available when the other sets come out or later like the other 1st half large sets have in the past?

    I like the fact that Lego added the gambling aspect to the pool hall. This set looks fantastic, but I don't like the way they did the P in POOL.

    I must say that the idea of doing those cutaway or visible renders of the inner mechanics was a brilliant idea. They all look absolutely fantastic.

    I don't know about Paul's preference, but I don't know how anyone could go back to those old ugly panels now that we have an abundance of new smooth ones.

    I was going to say that the outrageous fast and furious style looks like something from one of those burnout video games. Great job capturing that car.

    I think the windshield looks like it does because it is supposed to have that chopped look to it. I think if it were higher that it might look goofy. Or maybe I am wrong.

    Wow. This has a really nice pure Technic look to it. The 41999 wheels really make this pop. If you told me this was a new set coming form Lego, I would believe it. Cool gearbox idea too. Only flaw is too many red rubber axles which are probably impossible to find.

    Congrats on the award. How was the technic turnout at brickcon?

    I think logos, numbers, and sponsor stickers on a racecar or any model are fine, but I don't really like full panel stickers that represent shape and transitions of the model.

    I have completed my red version of this fantastic model and my only gripe is one that I also have with many other builder's MOCs as well as official Lego models and that is that the mirrors even though they use friction pins can become misaligned too easy. As seen in your picture.
