  1. I've got my AoM Barracks build up: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88625 C&C appreciated in the thread!
  2. Barracks - Phase II: Mages' Training Grounds http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88625
  3. I'm looking for certifications for these: Mitgardian Fishing Trip - Hydrology - waves, underwater; Agriculture & Zoology - brick-built animals Retrieving the Blue Stinger Wings - Landscape Design - trees (tree #1) Mages' Barracks - Phase II - Landscape Design - trees (tree #2); Architecture - 1x1 walls, roof rakes; Geography - mountains and cliffs Thanks
  4. Phase II entry for Age of Mitgardia Barracks. High in the Heavenly Mountains, accessible only by a mountain tunnel concealed and guarded by ancient magic, lies a secret training ground for the battlemages of Mitgardia. Alfgeir Dragon-Claw supervises the activities and manages admittance from his mountain cabin. C&C welcome! Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrcp6d/sets/72157637743873023/ I'm also looking for PoH credits for: --Architecture: 1x1 walls --Architecture: roof rakes --Landscaping Design: trees (for the big one) --Geography: mountains and cliffs Thanks!
  5. Nice little build Infernum, but where's the training ground? And, what's wrong with your pictures? They're excellent!
  6. Roughly 0.10 USD seems to be the standard bar for AFOLs to use to determine if a set on the shelf is good for parts in the LEGO room. Now you need to figure out how many pieces the builder used...
  7. J.V.D., welcome to the party! Nice little intro MOC too, hope you have fun here. To the rest of you Kaliphlins (Kaliphlinites?), somehow I missed the "Inside Kaliphlin" series while it was going on. Now that I've seen it, I thought it was more appropriate to give you all a shout-out here for all that fine work rather than necro-bumping 20 threads. Good work!
  8. Alrighty, finally got my Barracks Phase II done today! I'll try to get pics taken and cleaned up in the next couple of days. Then I've got to get on the ball with my CCC plans...
  9. I really like how the smelter can tip over. Also, consider that round tower construction technique stolen. Looks like it can be scaled to any diameter and is also suitable for compound curves.
  10. Wowzers. Love the colors and the details in this!
  11. Thanks gedren_y, I read it again and I agree with you.
  12. Thanks Gabe! I figured ths waves in front of the sea monster were enough for the cert. There're a bit bigger than the ones around the boat.
  13. Nice to see a big one from you SK! Even better that's so well done. It's a shame though that the compact nature of the castle makes it hard to see the interior details. I'd like to see some more of that blue house!
  14. Ths way I was reading the cert for trees is that it required all 3 tree different types to get the cert, thereby making this MOC 2/3 of a cert for trees. Can we get an official ruling? Also, loving the fact that you're being a stickler! We need some more of this in the forums. I've seen too much praise (my opinion!!) lately for mediocre or substandard MOCs. One comment containing constructive criticism is more useful than loads of random "oooh"s and "aaah"s; even on an awesome MOC. Keep it up. 15. This is some amazing work DC. A fine example of your super detailed building style. I can't help thinking that the ground could have used a different color though as the practice horse (beautiful by the way) gets a bit lost. Why child's life instead of the King Arthur category?
  16. I'd like DoH credits in: Hydrology - waves, underwater Agriculture & Zoology - brick-built animals Thanks!
  17. I'd like DoH credit in Landscape Design - trees (2 of the 3 trees) for this MOC.

  19. Very, very nice! Thanks for sharing the corner technique with us. I'm loving the amount of detail you packed in to this. Reminds me that I really need to pound out a Tudor style building this year...
  20. This is great! I like how you've almost completely built the landscape with white bricks--makes it look like it's in the midst of winter. soccerkid's right, you'd do well in Mitgardia!
  21. Gauntlet. On. The. Ground. Just for the sake of pushing myself I'll be trying to get enough done to at least qualify for Master Builder. Ain't no prayer of winning if this is a warm-up for you though. Looking forward to seeing who might pick up LD's gauntlet and accept the challenge
  22. Put my name down. This should be fun!
  23. You know you've built something pretty darn good when TBB blogs it. You know you've built something spectacular when Keith Goldman is the blogger. Kudos sir. This is an amazing build. Not only have you stacked some brinks on top of each other, but it looks like you'e done some hard-core engineering to get that dome to work. That's the best part for me. Kudos again.
  24. Lovely, in a dark, creepy, Nocturnian way. I really like the different varieties of plant life you've come up with.
  25. I usually have a more or less "meh" attitude towards the digital LEGO stuff. This however, has all sorts of awesome techniques going on. That and it's downright pretty. Please, keep this up.
