This is very detailed and yet not overly textured. Well played.

Excellent. I like how you've taken the old school and added some new with the wooden structures on top of the tower.

The curved walls are awesome! Don't see it much in micro.

These are all pretty sweet! The Blade Liger is particularly well done.

Awesome dragon! I really like the belly scales, but the hands look a little bit odd to me.

ANNOUNCING: Guilds of Historica Book II: The Civil War
mrcp6d replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
It's also Thanksgiving week in the States. Lots of eating and family time, not much LEGO time. -
Nice, I like that building a lot. I think adding some white plates to the trees would be a good idea, snow sticks to them too!

You guys are killing me There were windows in that cabin on both sides and the back and the whole thing was 1x1 rounds with red-brown "planks" breaking it up, kinda Tudor-style looking--then I went and hid all that work behind the trees! Oh well, I'll build something else. Yeah, I intended on covering that hole with a black wall and completely forgot!

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
mrcp6d replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
No problem - the connection between the top half and the lower branches is a bit dicey, but then again, we aren't swooshing trees very often! -
I absolutely love the colors in this! Glad you worked in the turtle and dragon kites too.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Here's the relatively simple evergreen tree design I used in my mage's training ground a couple weeks ago. -
Hehe - "oops" indeed! I'm digging the twist here and that we're all creating fairly diverse builds for the AoM challenge.

Great work, again! Not only is the dragon simply gorgeous, but the angles in the rockwork and the arch (door? portal?) are impressive.

All sorts of old school and all sorts of awesome. Hope to see a lot more from you!

Really like what this turned into, and you were right, not the category I was thinking, though it could have worked there... Your windows are excellent as always and I think this build has some of the best snow you've put in an MOC. I think you need to either clean your lens or your sensor though, looks like there's something right in the middle. Nope, almost done with a small-ish interior scene.

Definitely a category contender! I really like how you brought both angles and elevation to the party in this MOC.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Hmm, looks like it could be a CCC cross-over.... -
Thanks kabel, I do really like building snow Thanks buddy! Thanks kermit, I spent a lot of time on that roof. Though, looking at LD's stuff, I need to spend some more time on them! Here's a little reverse engineering for the tree:

Age of Mitgardia (free-build-challenge)
mrcp6d replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
I asked this a while ago too. I'm working on the assumption that it will run through all of Book II at a minimum... -
Another epic build DC. I love the slight angles in all your recent buildings, they really look like something out of a classic Disney movie or a postcard.

Thank you! Thanks SK! I'll get some pics of the tree up later. I've got two other dummies built that didn't make it into this MOC, saving them for Archery or a CCC build or something. Thanks Gideon, I'm not sure what "master" means either, one of those subjective things I suppose and probably why you guys are requiring 4 "+1's" I'll keep the slideshow vs link thing in mind in the future, excellent point there. Welcome to winter-time in Mitgardia! Thanks! I have lots of insights on that tree. I'll pull it out of the MOC and take some pics soon. Thanks, the fire-demon was a bit of an afterthought, but I'm glad I included it!

Thanks man, I really liked playing around with the figs for these magic people. Thanks! I can't either! But it'll probably be in January.

Ah, I must have missed that, but it's good to know!
