  1. Using the horse barding is genius!
  2. Ooooooo....... Really looking forward to any mummy aspect of the Kali civil war!
  3. Color Guard, Mountain Man, and of course the Drakarkan are my favorites of this bunch. A year and four months later, those evil mermaids are still freakin' awesome!
  4. I really like the orc!
  5. Some excellent figs here, definitely a top contender!
  6. Holy crap that's a lot of gold! With such a plush (and awesome!) interior, the exterior looks kind of plain though, is that intentional?
  7. Gee-wiz SK, you're getting really good at this LEGO thing! I would have appreciated a small tree or two at the lake shore, but that's a very small nitpick. Fantastic work all around!
  8. Huh. Well, I learned a new word (noria) today - thanks! The interconnected buildings are awesomely done. The angles of the half-timbering really add a lot and the little garden area adds a nice pop of color. I have to wonder if you aren't missing the green peacefulness of Avalonia...
  9. Frankly, this is awesome. The fact that the propeller and rudder are included makes me smile.
  10. I like the giant column, though the dragon I'm not sold on. I think its lack of a well defined/detailed head is the only thing that's holding it back for me, or perhaps the camera angles with respect to the head. I dunno. Great work for an unplanned build and it's got a nice story to boot!
  11. Somehow I missed commenting on this here... Really cool effect with the veins in the rocks for sure!
  12. Wow, there are too many great fig combos and other techniques to list! Awesome series.
  13. My favorite details here are those awesome heavy doors!
  14. You could add another one and have an excellent pair of bookends too!
  15. All those palm trees frame the structure well. Sweet building too, glad you're taking a peek at the sunnier guilds!
  16. Hehe - the Avalonian knight cracked me up
  17. Have you looked up instructions for the TLG pirate ships that use those parts? http://www.peeron.com/cgi-bin/invcgis/scans/6286-1/?ct=1 Looks like LEGO uses inverted slopes if I understand your question. Also, for general shipbuilding advise, the pirate forum here is probably the best place.
  18. The blue background was a great idea and it's impressive the way you made the tree hollow. I think you spelled "spelled" wrong.
  19. So THAT'S what those are! I really like the structure and the plants on the roof, but I feel the landscaping is rather barren with some random lime green thrown on top.
  20. The dark red in the house adds a lot of character.
  21. Strong series! The Alchemist, Black Spire Captain, Astronomer and Merchant are my favorites!
  22. Thanks Sarah! Still not entirely pleased with the rock to dirt transition, but I had some competing priorities. Thanks you two, glad you're back!
