  1. It's been around for so long, who knows.I've been racking my brain about the crook, haven't had bright ideas about how to turn the corner either.
  2. Gorgeous! Love the icy pond and the wooden wagon is great! Did you try any other colors for the wagon covering? That's the only nit-pick I've got--the white top doesn't quite work for me.
  3. Very original, very nice! The man-bat cracked me up as did the other Easter Eggs.
  4. This is awesome! Like MassEditor said, the color choices are spot on, and I'm really impressed with the foliage--it looks dense, but you restrained yourself enough that it doesn't clutter the build.
  5. I'm ok with the cannon--especially as it's brick-built, they fit with the generally accepted lore of dwarves as the technological inventors in fantasy. The pistol seems a bit much though.
  6. I really don't know how you guys are able to do these story builds so well! This is great all around.
  7. Rookie mistake! Always set a lookout for the boss!
  8. Amazing build! Both the static and exploding rockwork is top notch! Typing aloud here, I wonder what it would look like if the split surfaces of the exploding rocks had some trans-blue/red/neon-orange/neon-green/etc. covering them and the battlemage had a 1x1 round or two in his hands?
  9. Forced perspective is working fairly well here. The bush kind of messes with it though.
  10. I agree that the darker lighting works for the content of the scene, but I wonder what some strategically used yellow (as opposed to the bright white we all know and love) lighting would have done.
  11. Nice build. The only item not working for me is the smoke. White, trans-something, dark bley, etc. would have probably been better than using the same color as the chimney.
  12. Incredible! Some of the best icy waterfall LEGO I've ever seen.
  13. The doors, towers, potted trees really give this a nice "elfishness". I do agree that some better lighting would have been better.
  14. A little bit creepy and a whole lot of awesome! The only comment I've got about the pictures in general is that the first one in your post is almost too perfect. Looks like a 3D render.
  15. Wow. The sand green/dark bley combination is perfect.
  16. Sweet! I really like how even with the challenge builds you are fleshing out Ruadh!
  17. That is a sweet decal, might be worth picking up some blank dark bley torsos....
  18. Sweet castle! Are you using 1x2 curved slopes for that corner?
  19. Of course he's happy! That's good stuff, and unlike pastries, it's low-carb! Seriously though, my favorites of your series are the juggler and the dragon tamer.
  20. I'm really going to have to try building in this fairy tale-ish style sometime. Like I said on flickr, I really like the repetitive use of the circles on the tower.
  21. Well, I stared at this for quite some time taking in all the different parts and usages!
  22. Outstanding use of minimal colors. I really like the mortar between the large blocks. I feel like the little trees ought to be in planters or something; to me they look like they're growing out of a polished paving stone surface.
  23. Thanks guys! I really enjoyed throwing this together.
  24. Did he shoot first? The gentle curve of the wall is nice and I like that round castle-y section attached to the inn. The gap in the upper roof for the lower lower-story ridge bugs me a little bit though.
