  1. Probably the best counter since Kai gave that big dog a bone a month ago.
  2. The curved dock is impressive. Nice fig posing too considering there aren't any studs to stick them to!
  3. Jacob Nixon for the "enricher" mini-challenge, that gigantic pool of blood is just too good. Dr. Cogg for "best transformer", hands down. I'll echo the comments about Bregir's mobile fort--I think it was definitely the overall best entry here.
  4. Fun story, I'm envious of people who can write dialogue period, much less dialogue with an accent. Curved slopes for rocks is something I don't see often, but it works well here. The last pic made laugh!
  5. Thanks guys! For the Republic!
  6. Nice story, usually I skip them when they're long but for some reason I started reading yours and didn't stop. I like the build too, the big triangle at the top really sets it off.
  7. The simple addition of the stripe of tan plates around the white building is a great detail. Adds both color and intentional texture--I love it.
  8. I really like the building. The tall stained glass windows and the spires on either end really work well here.

  10. Hmmm, the mirror is a cool idea to double up an MOC.
  11. Thanks robuko! GIMP worked pretty well on this one
  12. I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment in the past dozen posts or so. Frankly, GoH (and its other spin-offs on other forums) have been an incredible force to raise the overall castle-MOCing ability of us AFOLs and TFOLs over the past couple years. I'm not sure the current rules set allows for the true quality that us old-timers have become used to viewing because the best way to play this game is currently to push out guerrilla builds every week (on Sundays if you're smart! ). That said, it's impressive to me both the quantity and quality I've seen thus far. But it is definitely grueling (this isn't Iron Builder! ) and for some us us AFOLs is sucking some to most of the fun out of building for GoH. Serious kudos to Ska for putting this all together, but as has been posted multiple times since the beginning of the challenge, these rules are sort of a first attempt. It's a GREAT concept, but I think needs refinement for many of us "shielded" folks to extract the same levels of enjoyment we're used to getting.
  13. I really enjoy how versatile you are with the brick. I've called you out on some great micro work, and this thing is just plain impressive at minifig scale. Rock on robuko
  14. Great MOC, and it's almost gray-scale which is a really cool effect.
  15. Even though the LEGO backdrop isn't meant to be there, I think it adds a lot.
  16. Thanks Andrew! HA!, the outcome is bloody mummies! "desserts", not "deserts"; but, they're in the desert, sooooo.... Thanks, personally, I think rockwork is one of my strengths, but in this case, they kind of hide the cracked sand. Thanks LV, armor was a stretch for 3 figs... Thanks you!
  17. Don't think I can really add anything to the above comments, so I'll just say "good job!"
  18. Man, you are all in with the micro for this challenge aren't you? This is yet another solid one too!
  19. Serious points for humor with this one Josh! I love the outhouse design too, so there's some good LEGO skills here along with the laughs.
  20. That is some dense greenery! Perfectly Avalonian! I'll echo Garmadon's question about those odd leafy pieces.
  21. Thanks Capt'n! Thank you! Thanks John! Thanks Graham!
  22. I'll be remembering that crossbow design!
