  1. I think you did the lava quite well. The key in my mind is the yellow base.
  2. Sweet laser design
  3. Thanks mccoyed! Thanks Mike! Thanks Kai! Thanks Kodan! DPW? Sounds like I hit everything I was aiming at, thanks! Thanks! Thanks LittleJohn! I'm enjoying SPACE a lot, but I've got to hit GoH pretty hard again soon... Thanks man! Yeah, I just uploaded the additional truck pics.
  4. I shall also endorse the minifig arm logo as excellent! Nice write-up too, I'm enjoying how Octan's cleanliness is spreading throughout the galaxy
  5. Not just an alien attack, a very stylish alien attack! I love that car!
  6. We hang pirates! Joking aside, nice stuff SK! The blues are both fun and effective and the mech is on point as well.
  7. Well, this is impressive.
  8. The transport is nicely utilitarian and sleek at the same time, which I assume is hard to do (I've never tried... ), so kudos there. I also like those upside down bush trees. Really simple and really effective.
  9. Wowzers. For me, the best thing is the bubble canopy in the nose--real-life functional, I love it. Oh, and those jet engines--total win there. And I love the play functions--way too cool how well that lift is integrated. Overall, I'm blown away.
  10. Completely agree about the landscaping. The tan plus black and trans-orange work surprisingly well. Poor H3 though, he just can't catch a break!
  11. The grey rover is SWEET!!
  12. I absolutely love the ship! The three wheels are super cool.
  13. Wow, the cavern is really well done! I also really like the computer monitors on the desk, they're a fun sci-fi detail.
  14. That's one brave minfig! I do really like that examination/knowledge transfer/torture chair design.
  15. Great hanger, great shuttle, what's not to like?
  16. It certainly does have a War of the Worlds vibe, even though I haven't seen the movie or read the book either...
  17. Quite the fun story! The microscopic scale prelude is great fun and the layered rock face looks nice too.
  18. Location: F03 - Forring Tags: civil, vehicle, land vehicle, exploration --Weekly Explorer's Transmission-- --Log of Eagle-Eye Silver-- -- 06 Julali 3815-- I’ve been driving The Beast around Forring for a week now. It’s not actually called “The Beast”, but after rolling over countless small trees, shrubs, rocks, and a bunch of the tan grass on this planet, I’ve forgotten what the Octan Corp. engineers actually call it in the fleet inventory. The Beast doesn’t turn very well, but the power put through the axles is impressive! I’ll bet this truck could pull down a large building if I needed it too. Anyway, Dr. Long has me placing these devices every few kilometers today. She didn’t tell me what they do, but I’m guessing they’re supposed to help locate awesomnium. --End-- More on Flickr, I'll add some standalone pics of The Beast to the album tomorrow.
  19. I sure laughed hard! Nice color transitions with the lava
  20. hehe - "Run! M.A.N.T.I.S. Run!" indeed! You've got quite the knack for mechs Mike. I'm sorry to see you less active in GoH, but the space side of your building talent.... well, it might be even better!
  21. The "transforming" mechs are pretty cool! I like all the different things the figs are doing too, and the fact that half of them are hovering is icing on the cake.
  22. I certainly chuckled! Clearly these predatory ducks need to be dealt with! Although Jebadiah clearly needs to go take a remedial course in Octan weapons training. I'm sure a certain Dr. Long will be less than pleased about the lack of sharpshooting skills. I quite like the compact little rover! Can a fig actually sit in it/on it?
  23. Simple, yet complicated. I like all the little details here.
  24. Nice MOC! The multi-level nature of the structure is really cool as it gradually moves from the water up the rock.
