  1. Even if Flash is working in your browser of choice, you may still need to install the ActiveX version because many Windows applications need this to run embedded applets.
  2. I'm built like a tall egg with limbs, so I'm pretty happy about mah shape being represented in the Angry Birds sets
  3. Without them yer hands would just fall off
  4. SUPER INTERESTING I might abuse this as a more "visual" way to make wanted lists.
  5. Did the magic smoke escape?
  6. 45 degrees would just cause it to clash again, try 7.
  7. Eh, just buy a used 8043. I got one for £150 and it was fine except for wonky stickers (which I don't apply anyway, so I peeled 'em off)
  8. The quick compression / slow rebound thing always put them out of my mind as a suspension solution, particularly as the 4 of these that I own all have different rebound speeds. It might be worth it to modify them if you can find suitable springs (the ones from the Unimog are too long) but in the end you'll only get an extra studsworth of travel in comparison to the Unimog shocks.
  9. I'd like to mention that 42000 looks absolutely spiffing with tumbler tyres. It's just a shame that I managed to mash up a diff and some cardan cups trying to motorise the thing myself. I might make another attempt with better bracing and put together a LXF and photos. I was too disgusted with the damage to think it was worth chronicling what I did last time. SUPER-EDIT: Photos. Crap ones. Non-stock luxury tyres, fuzzy forearms and cheap textured wallpaper I forgot the link to the thread that made me want to try this Despite me lurkin' here for over 4 years already I'm still wary of the whole necrobumping thing, and I don't believe this stuff is good enough to bump the specific model's thread anyway so this stuff is in here now
  10. Sooo getting back on topic, I don't know how likely it is that the alternate for 42062 will be a mini mobile crane, unless there'll be a string included for it. But it's pretty nifty how these pneumatic hose guides are used in the grabber part of the reach stacker. I'd really like to see the gear rack & housing re-used in a similarly unexpected way.
  11. Maybe I should have posted my other idea instead, which was a Pogo Wagon.
  12. I'm hoping for an industrial nudging machine.
  13. New parts are not the only aspect of updates, ya know. I bet there are a load of bugfixes and new connection possibilities that will be uncovered in the next few days.
  14. Spare a thought for the wide motybike wheels, for they will never be noticed by senpai.
  15. Well that's my idea most likely buggered then. I run a personal DB on my localhost, and I wanted to cache their price guides for certain parts on daily intervals to work out what I can spend on spares, reconstituting sets, etc. I hope they allow 127.0.0.1 as an endpoint, because my mobile internet uses a dynamic IP.
  16. Those are 2H sets, aren't they? I vaguely remember similar disappointment at the 1H offerings from this year. Maybe wait until the 2017 Nuremburg Toy Fair for 2H reveals before writing the whole theme off.
  17. It's a bit disappointing that the BMW doesn't appear to have the new printed disc brakes from the Caterham Super 7; maybe there's still time to change that, because I think it would really add a lot to the looks. Maybe there's a functional need for the wedge-belt wheels in the B-model, though.
  18. Susceptible to cracking, couldn't feed an axle all the way through, not as robust as a standard worm secured by half-bushes. Really not sure how the part ever made it into sets.
  19. I think there's an option in the notification settings for something about alerts when you're mentioned in a post. Seems like a way to keep narcissists busy.
  20. If I told you that, Babaloveslego55, then I'd have to kill you.
  21. 42066 is super-interesting. Medium Blue is not dead! Seems to have some 11954, 64782 and 18945 panels which make up most of the fuselage and air intakes, the control surfaces and rear are in black with some red accents overall. It's hard to tell from the tiny, grainy image what the PF parts bring to it, but landing gear and control surfaces are obvious possibilities.
  22. It looks like a standard worm in black, supported by one of these at each end: EDIT: wait, if you mean above the rack housing, then that's probably a standard worm too. I just built a mockup; the worm thread doesn't mesh with the rack, so you could be right about a new one after all! The one(s) at the front to move the shovel seem to have a deeper thread than usual. It'll be interesting to have a worm that meshes with bevel gears at last.
  23. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140543-seo-is-so-exploitable/ Not sure, but you can use whatever you want in a link as long as the unique ID is there. It'll just rewrite the URL to the original.
  24. I don't think Jim will be too pleased about the return of THE DREADED PLESK FAVICON
  25. Yeah what's up with the whole wonky anonymity thing. My profile actually has a last seen date on it now. People know I've BEEN HERE.
