  1. I've got three each of the little Creator Minis wot came in canisters*; it's nice to be able to build all three models at once. I wanted to do something similar with the Tiny Turbos for the combination models, but couldn't actually be arsed after taking so much time and cash just to complete the collection. * Oh and the duplicated parts for each set can all fit in just one canister for that set, which is pretty great
  2. I cannot wait for them to put the rest of the instructions online, so that poor buggers such as myself can build vicariously through eyeballing.
  3. Pretty good! It's a nice little set as it is, but as you probably already know, it also includes some compact steering parts (6571 , 6574) that just happen to be ridiculously expensive.
  4. I ordered a 42030 back in september when Amazon's price plummeted to £130. However, it was shown as out of stock with no known restock date. I cancelled after six weeks of nowt, but RE-ordered right away because they'd dropped the price further to £115 - and S@H actually had a backorder date, which I thought would mean I'd be getting mine soon after. So I had to give up waiting a fortnight ago and just bought the unique parts (wheels, bucket, green engine blocks) that I missed in order to reconstitute one. Now I'm told that Amazon have restocked, and it seems I'll be getting it in january. AAAAAAAAAAA I don't know whether to be happy or annoyed
  5. Aww yeah time to get me a pile o' orange bits- Whooo NO. That's obscene.
  6. Option 1 unless you reaaaally want the unique parts from the BWE or have a mighty need for over 4 dozen beam frames. I like the log grabber on 42054, if only to show how well the model has captured the versatility of the real thing. Plus, you'd have a good pile of base parts for building both of efferman's mods :B
  7. This is an image of a claas xerion I took while That is Tesco Austriam Smoked Cheeeese The log went missing D: Don'tb drink and build folks, drive safe
  8. According to LDD it has an Element ID of 4160520. These IDs are assigned consecutively to almost everything LEGO produces. Most of the parts in LDD which are accused of not existing most likely do, but are very rarely available outside of the bailiwick of Legoland Park Master Builders - look up "Q Elements". On that note, it'll be interesting to see if those changeover catches show up in white (4160518) and orange (4160529) soon.
  9. Seconding @letsbuild and @Error404 on that. Also, it looks like those Earth Blue 2x4 bent beams which I thought would be present were a bad guess. I assumed they'd be approximately at the endpoints of that 15M beam by the helipad supports. The actual situation makes more sense from a structural (and parts economy) point of view.
  10. It's a misprint. If you look at the element ID for that part (6130005), you'll see that it comes up as 10M. However, I briefly spotted a yellow 4M axle a while ago with the ID 6130006, but I can't find a trace of it anywhere now.
  11. That pull-back motor really does have a lot of strength to keep it from slipping down there
  12. People are actually liking the medium blues and azuuuures? It's usually flagrant disgust. What is happening here.
  13. I think it'll be fine; consider the central location of the batterybox, and how the weight of a fully laden AA batterybox is good enough to counterbalance the superstructure on a mobile crane model. When I made a 42009 run off a LiPo batterybox, I had to use two boat weights to restore the counterbalancing effect that I had previously taken for granted.
  14. Temporary, though it felt like about two months had passed when it finally re-opened earlier this year... :1
  15. Yah, it'll be like that until february at the earliest - the "buy" section of Bricks and Pieces closes in january* to allow customer services to catch up with missing / broken parts queries from over the chrimble period. I'd like to get some of the 2017 sets myself for those nifty new parts, but I don't fancy the hustle an' bustle of my local LEGO Store on the 20th. * Just spotted a note on the site mentioning that it will be closing on 15th Dec, returning february 2017
  16. I have a solution that makes use of part 99206 (the blue part shown below on its own): LXF Technically, TWO 2x3 plates can fit in there to make it more solid, and LDD will even allow it.
  17. Wagh, I was hoping to forget that I gave up on making a mockup image of it, too. Something involving splicing these together: The angle of both images should have made it simple, but I got too tired to judge exactly where to splice the beam from the claw onto the bucket and gave up.
  18. If you have DownThemAll installed in your browser, I can send a list of files and a renaming mask that should let you grab everything at once with the folder structure intact. I'd offer to get it myself but it looks like over 500Mb of stuff there - my mobile interbutts can't handle uploading an archive that big.
  19. That right there is Medium Blue, the same used in 42022 and 42036.
  20. Thank ye sir Hard to tell, looks to be same as 42050 Yep, that's Medium Azur (agh, maybe I should have really added this info)
  21. Right underneath the medium blue angle connector in front of the cockpit.
  22. It keeps stealing my puddins from the fridge, so it's an enemy. (it's not an enemy)
  23. i think so as well, it deffo looks LBG. there hasent been a white half bush used in Lego in many years: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4265c&colorID=1&in=A You're doing this on purpose aren't you
  24. There's a half bush near one of the sprockets which confirms their whiteness. Also, why did you quote my entire post just to mention that?
