  1. Ingenious! Might be not a beauty - but still good looking, aaaaand I never thought, that we will see so many functions in a Technic motorcycle. I just keep on watching the video over and over again... amazing!
  2. Hello KissP, and welcome to the Eurobricks! Really good news, I (and probably many of us) would like to have a copy as well! @Dalafik: maybe the instructions could be shared public here and on Rebrickable. Would be nice.
  3. Great model, do You plan some off-road video? Please do not promote that (and any) chanel with Lego destroying, the Porsche might have bitter taste, but doesn't deserve that tasteless primitive action.
  4. great progress! One tipp/hint/wish: considering the scale and the parts of the 42043, maybe could be an option: Unimog + a trailer and/or some equipments (8258 B model).
  5. Yes, because it is a D model. I overlooked that, but agree with TheItalianBrick: go for 4x4! This is a very valuable challenge, fingers crossed for it.
  6. Glad to see the improvement of Your video embedding skill. The respect towards the original, and all the details, functions of your MOC make deserve well the "re-issue of a classic" label!
  7. Love this and any combination of Technic and sci-fi is always welcome!
  8. Oh yes! On my list already, but You put the bar high with the Zetros, is it clear for You? High hopes are circulating around. Personally I don't mind the 6 cylinder engine, why not.
  9. Amazing Guys, how quick You do the job for TLG. :) I hope they will apply all of these for the following models of the Ultimate Series.
  10. Very good Moc, but I agree with JJ2. Sometimes less is more. ;) Just drop the spare wheel "cover", and You are ready.
  11. Thanks! That is the way to check. ;) From Lego shop You can only buy the v1, v2 is not sold separately unfortunatelly. As far I know, if it is v2, than it is printed. Have a nice Day!
  12. Hello! I have a question regarding the IR receivers in 8043. As I could figure out, this set was delivered with V1 and V2 receivers too. Mine says V2 - original set from Lego, I opened the box. But I remember for a comparison, where V2 receivers won't work with M motors. Mine just runs fine. I am confused now, and I am unsure if these receivers are really V2 - although both are printed with the magical letters. The reason I ask, if I have to invest into V2 receivers for future projects (2L motors + Servo), or something is wrong (here: GOOD ), and I have indeed the needed V2 receivers already? Another one: do XL motors also perform better with V2? Setup would be: 2XL - 1 Servo
  13. Thanks for explaining, I assumed, that there must be a reason, but couldn't see.
  14. Welcome here, and hat off for this analysis! Edit: After pointing it out, it really makes sense to use the rubber part in the construction as well. Waiting for replies from owners... but it seems, that Lego could save the whole torture...
  15. Since we met and chatted, I know You are someone, who really go technical when it comes to MOCing, but the details You show amaze me every time! I feel like I am participating on an on-line course. Maybe You can eliminate the wobble in the rear axle if You add half pins on the combi hub, or is it on purpose like that? Another question for the rear arms: is there any constraint to use 4x Technic lever 3M? What about 2x Technic lever 5M? vs It would eliminate 4 joints on each suspension unit = stiffer.
  16. Great travelog, stylish as always. Thank You very much for sharing and even more appretiated: for entertaining!
  17. I just love this grader. The well captured design, all the functions packed in this scale nominate for: the best grader MOC I have seen! Very creative and effective usage of the new pneumatic cylinders!
  18. Oh Sariel, You bend my willing (I don't wanted to buy any of these), all the sets look great together! May You tell, who are the designers of each set? The Claas indeed very sexy... Let's take a ride! Check the B-model at the end.
  19. You don't disassemble 42056 to rebuild it into a B model. Actually You can use the parts of a washing machine to rebuild something else: screws, sheetmetal, motor, turn it into lawn mover machine like lot people did in Hungary, even my dad... so? Anyway it wasn't the point of my example. Lego sets are also just products like the mentioned ones. A lot customer don't build B models, or disassemble the sets for Mocing, so this is not an argument. Really no offense, but TLG is just a company, not the Olympos. They just made a mistake, whatever if marketing or design-wise, happens. But making cheap and slippery excuses is not a mature or even respectable human behavior. They can do this better, like they did in the case of 8043. Peace!
  20. I disagree. Even if one say, it is a lego version of the real thing, this assuming replication as well. The bodywork is OK (except the easy twist by Jetro for modularity), but the rest is not accurate in many way. If it would have been communicated as Ultimate Technic Racer series, than also the expectation would have been set different. Own-goal in this point of view. For the last sentence: You can not be serious! Really? It is not a finished product? I tell You it is. Imagine if You buy a washing machine, a fridge, or a cell phone, which doesn't work, as it should (for example the washing mashine doesn't pump all the water out). You go back to customer service, but they tell You: it is on purpose like that, to increase the customer experience by giving the opportunity to improve this. You go home happily, because You got chance to repair, even without necessary material, tool and knowledge? You should not forget, that the way of thinking what You wrote can be - and probably IS - true for Afol community, BUT the common new-in-Lego customer doesn't has parts, knowledge for corrective actions.× This ultimate experience is a stand alone product, and should work out of the box. End of story. ×Edit: there can be newbies, who do find these issues annoying, right?
  21. You raised the bar with Your Unimog 401, soooo I expect something very cool and effective here! Any chance for WIP pictures?
  22. Thanks for the feedback Sariel, I hope we hear a summary soon! Ambivalent news, I am happy that there will be a new product line indeed, I really hope for some Off-roaders too. The Porsche could be a "side" project, but still a LEGO product with same standards as usual, so most of the claims are still valid - no excuses. I consider this as lesson learned by TLG, wiser and honest marketing strategy will applied. Looking forward to the future sets!
  23. This is so great race concept, and very nice cars You've built! I wonder how to improve this direction... maybe longer, steeper tracks with leaned curves, jumps, loop... Cars only with gravity acceleration, but with PF steering and PF brakes... + super sturdy chassis and suspension. Actually something like RedBull Rampage... or better like MTB dual Slalom. Hell lot of fun!
  24. Edit: I think I hope for Completely horizontal and static it just can not be, as than the bricks just would stuck.
