  1. I love these rebuilds, and for some reason Lego would release this, I would buy it for sure. Good photos as well! Checked the competition, there is a lot good MOCs, was not easy to win. Regading the 42029: it has a different suspension setup, which needs more place. I think that's all, not a trend.
  2. And what about some mechanical servo for centering? Maybe 2 small soft shock absorbers just directly mounted above the small cylinders (do they have the same length?) would do the job. It is just an idea, but I assume, there is a geometry, where the springs and the pneumatic cylinders work well together for this purpose.
  3. OK, lets make it clear for our youngsters. It is clear I guess. Kind of a polite demand: once You are here, at least don't cut off the branch You are sitting on. Who to blame afterwards? Believe me, given the rethoric of a comment, it is quite easy to tell, who is under age, but none of us is bothered about it, as long topics are not flooded by "First!" and "Cool!" like comments. Let's close this line, and focus on this build, I am out of parental mode.
  4. Wow, it is so compact, that it is barely to see, amazing! I think You miss something from the post.
  5. Mr. Paave, another great build! Proportions are good, the concept is good, and I am just amazed by the capability of it. LXF, I fully support your desire for making LDD models.
  6. Busses are not my cup of tea, but as the project, I follow with great interest till the final result. I am wondering, if You could add the well known black exhaust gas (a.k.a.: cloud) as pneumatic function.
  7. Don't get angry my friend(s). I am not a moderator, I have no power to play with. Actually, such behavior is pretty much far from me. I like the spirituality, what You described, that's why are we here. Still, I am aware, that majority of people don't pay attention for such like reading the "papers". This can cause problems in different levels, in different life situations. This forum gives not the hardest beat, if one is not paying attention, but there are enough contracts to sign in our lives. It was just a friendly advice, which is a bit more about, than just Lego. Maybe I could use more smiley, but I see a lot ruined family due to such issues. Back to topic, sorry for being OFF.
  8. Another day, another candidate. This time Charbel's 919 Hybrid: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137263&st=0
  9. Another wise hint for the future guys: read CAREFULLY every document before signing. Credit, contracts, guidelines... Anyhow, it is indeed getting a shape, but setting become a HOF member as goal, is not the right motivation for MOCing. Just saying... building fun and sharing is more valuable. With time and practice, who knows?
  10. It is plain, and still there is something special about it. Sometimes this is what we need: simplicity.
  11. I think we have a worthy candidate by Steph77: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=138421 And hopefully TheItalianbrick will join to the club soon. Keep an eye on the project. http://www.eurobrick...pic=123328&st=0
  12. Congrats Lucio! So the baby is studded. Another theme, maybe You (community) already know this chinese LUG page, I thought it is worth to share, as they publish a lot technic related stuff (but luckily not only!). http://www.heroeslug.cn/ I follow it for a while, worth to click through, things like these (below) are good source of inspiration, there are many familiar ones, but also dosens of really great and creative builds. http://www.heroeslug...dingzhuangzhao/ or these: http://www.heroeslug.../moc2016-jijia/
  13. Great progress with the LDD model! I have LDD 4.3 as well, go in menu: View\New themes\LDD Extended. Both parts must be there (IR receiver in motors; tyre in wheels), just need to be recolored.
  14. Hi, they look indeed like Mud Thrashers from RC4WD, but checking the pictures: definitely lower quality. I have them (see here: RC4WD in 1.55" and 1.9"), and the side walls are pretty massive, not like the ones in the link above. Also no sign of branding, which should be molded (+size, etc): Might work, but doesn't seem like a long-term good deal... I don't recommend.
  15. I agree with Erik, with 8070 and 42039 you will even get 4 official models (A+B, and quite good ones!), good learning material. With 42056, you will get only 1 car and well... a suitcase. For gearboxes: there are a lot good ones on Youtube, easy to bricklink them.
  16. It appends only on the M motor, I think. L will be obviously copied. If the molding tools were produced in China, I don't think they would bother much about produce second ones in the same time for a local company... wouldn't be the first case. This could also explain, how they were able to put the Porsche on market only 3 months after it's debut. Not to mention the new Disney Castle... But now, being in the pub: beer anyone? I am on the way for it!
  17. " " The best part is the bold area on the head of grandpa.
  18. Hi All, without giving ideas, or advertise... I hope, that Bricklink will be not flooded by bootleg parts soon. https://customizeminifiguresintelligence.wordpress.com/2016/08/23/upcoming-lepin-technic-sets-mercedez-benz-arocs-and-mobile-crane-mkii/ even if this review doesn't slam the quality into the ground. https://customizeminifiguresintelligence.wordpress.com/2016/08/15/review-of-lepin-20001-porsche-911-gt3-rs-bootleg-of-lego-42056/
  19. I like a lot how this turned out, clever, and from my side comes an extra point for making it manual. Love the bed and load securing! One hint: maybe the tube fixation on the hook could be solved a bit more elegant (video 0:22), instead of the rubber band, what about to use one of these parts? I don't see exactly, if there is enough space for it.
  20. I meant by ability: financial or on-hand parts-wise. Not everyone willing to disassemble all the models just to build one (f.e.: me), or spend hundreds of cash by buying extra parts. I would say, it appends... there might be are small sets with 200-300 parts, where the exterior hides the essentials in photos, and also not every connections are evident. Reverse engineers are specific small (marginal) set of a small Technic AFOL group. And there is only one Dokludi... yet.
  21. The most promising entry so far, thumbs up!
  22. Great and sleek MOC. My only suggestion: replace the exhausts... they stick out with those gears. Brick built version fits here well, see set 9397.
  23. Agree with above written. Also consider, the larger the build, the more You shrink the circle of people who will have the ability to build it. Same with using rare pieces, what You don't seem to mind. To be honest, it feels like a bad strategy already. What about starting with small, and medum size sets? Wider audience, fun and good learning stuff - even for You for the software part. Also advantage would be, that You will not get negative impression in case the instructions doesn't sell well (maybe at all), although You put enormous energy in it - this can taste bitter. I understand Your high ambitions coming from sport - which is great, but let place as ideal Icarus from Madoca, and not the mythical one. edit: typo
  24. Hi, You will have the same pneumatic functions as currently, all adds-on will be probably less valuable here. Don't get me wrong, the plan sounds nice for a MOC , but maybe not in contest point of view. Not to mention, I really like the scale and the progress as it is. - just my opinon. Of course it is Your decision, whatever it will be, I am sure, it will turn out great and fun.
  25. Wow, very sleek bodywork, and great photos. Knowing the MOCs of Chade, "worthless" is a bit strong, right? I am sure, it works like charm as usual, just a bit patience needed yet.
