  1. i'd say that this is the best lego boat i've ever seen and the best performing as well... what hull is that?
  2. no there are no driving rings... it's just a linear gearbox....you can invent something out of it tho
  3. i made this one wich is linear and can handle all the torque you want if you brace it well :)
  4. what a lovely model! i really like studded and studless mixed together :)
  5. :D welcome to the world of RC motors owners ehehe cool buggy tho! it would be nice making a sort of "contest" with 2 rules: . 1 rc buggy motor . those wheels so we'd have lot of models to race eheh
  6. yeah im starting a new university, i've already done graphics and a VFX master, but then i got bored of being at the pc so i decided to start all over :P
  7. ahah don't worry mate :) the lancia is safe! in 10 or 15 days ill shoot the video for sure :D i've been busy trying the mechanical engineering university test wich i passed eheh in 10 days ill put my hands on legos again FINALLY !!
  8. JUST WOW MAN! its performances went clearly over my expectations lol and the edit of the video is sick! what tires are those? 81.9? i wanna make something to compete with that hahah....unfortunately it won't have the radio control :\
  9. ciao e benvenuto :) solo ora ho realizzato la scala del modello...è immenso O.o! spettacolo !
  10. ahahah nice video man :D it flips really well!
  11. won't you connect the servo to the green axle?
  12. yeah but that's gonna turn 90 degrees and you need around 45 to operate the selector....you need to gear it down :P the way i did you don't need gearing :P
  13. ahah i love it man! it's really cool :) can't wait to see it rolling XD
  14. sick model dude! i usually don't like tatras, actually i kinda hate them xD but this one looks so cool that i like it heheh
  15. ahah the steering is a great idea man! and that mudguard used as defuser is perfect! looking forward to see how you'll model the shape of it :) will it be black?
  16. nice stuff man! i expecially like the micro macpherson :) welcome to eurobricks!
  17. rc motor on that thing? it's gonna be extremely funny ehehe expecially for the total absence of grip for the front wheel :D
  18. i don't know 4-5 kg....1-2 for sure :) but give it a try anyway eheh
  19. yeah! lego never distracts me too and i am studying for my admission test at mechanical engineering instead of thinking to next projects!
  20. can't wait to build another RED model
  21. hey im happy that you guys like it even if it's so simple :) at this link https://www.dropbox....buggy3.ldr?dl=0 you can download the ldraw file for it these are the parts you need plus some screens in case you don't have ldraw...hope it will help :) and here's the video as well :) the last part was made with a 2:1 ratio wich is good for flat surfaces
  22. at the same time the gear is shifting the clutch gets disengaged once the servo rotates 90° in every direction once it gets back to its neutral position the clutch re-engages i haven't tried the complete mechanism yet but in theory it should work :P do you mind trying for me? im away from my legos for a week eheh you'll also need this part that's the one wich allows precise gear shifting one stud by one stud at a time
