I'd like to put it in a moc but i haven't decided yet what car iim gonna make XD actually the gear position is the reason why it's so is because of the activation mechanism that will work in 4 positions just like in this video below :P anyway as soon as i finish it i'll post a video and an updated cad file :) you're welcome :)

Hello guys! I wanted to improve the gearbox i used in the pajero some months ago... mainly i needed to get rid of the 4th gear wich was kinda useless and i expecially needed it to be synchronized so the gears can engage easily the gear ratios are the same as the other one because i found them to be good for performances so here it is it's way smoother than the other one as there are less gears so less friction :) it just needs the activation mechanism and it's ready to be mounted on some moc....ill probably use it with two RC motors to see what's gonna happen XD hope you'll like it

lol kinda odd vehicle :D i think that plates will make it look cool...you should reconsider the idea :P

that would be a great idea to activate low gear ratio first and differential lock then cool stuff man :)

i still can't really tell... to stay upright it should run...and i'd need way more space and a surface with more grip to test it :\ it kinda works but there's still lot to do before claiming a win :D

Fourth prototype looks better and seems more stable but i won't know if it really works until i bring it on some concrete the marble i have on my floor makes it drift too easy

Third prototype Finally this one is giving me some results it's still a little bit unbalanced to the right i need to add some counterweight more to the left but i have to modify the chassis first to make the IR reciver fit inside of it. what im gonna do tomorrow is lower the battery by one stud so the reciver and the plugs fit perfectly inside of it and the two grey supports as well so the bike will lean less than now this one is the one who made more way straight before losing balance what i want to achieve is allowing the bike to get back straight once it's leaning left or right so it can also start while being still :) im kinda happy with the overall shape as well lol hope you'll like it...and i really hope ill manage to get it right so everyone can have fun with it :P

I ve used something similar on my polaris rzr, check it out on my blog... It was a three links system tho, but it worked surprisingly well

actually the steering system works fine and it's centered the problem it has lays on the rear axle wich has the weight on the left due to the RC motor shape you might be right about the M motor i've tried to add more weight inside the wheel and it seems a little bit better still the lack of grip is quite relevant

so here's the MK II it works better as the rear tyre is way wider than the other unfortunately i have to solve a weight distribution problem when the bike leans to the right, as its heavier on the left can get up...in the opposite case it doesnt... if it's perfectly balanced i think it could work properly the main goal is making it go straight xD are there any heavy pieces i could add for counterweight on the right side?

Hello guys i don't know if you were following the other bikes thread... I decided not to hijack that and make my own one so: the point of this thread is not SHOWING you a model but actually getting ideas from you on how to make my prototype work properly. this is what i got for now it kinda works but it's still very unstable and i'd need way more space to countersteer once it starts leaning left or right to keep it straight. Another problem is given by flat surfaces...the RC motor gives the wheel so much power that it's like driving a real bike on ice if anyone of you has more space than me and would like to test it you're welcome :)

i've just buillt this prototype... it kinda works but needs some improvement for the steering system as it's not centered yet... the weight distribution seems to be ok tho

nice thread! i always wanted to try to make a working bike... at the moment the only working one is this one here wich is made with other non lego parts as well...it's still cool anyway i think that one single RC motor and a correct balancing of the weight is still possible... i might give it a go another thing that i'd add would be some weight that moves left and right once you steer the bike so the center of weight changes to the inside of the corner you're aproaching

yes man :) i've choosen the monster truck mainly because of the CV joints :P and the quad has lots of cool pieces... anyway im not sure yet if its going to be a trophy truck or some sort of offroader in general

Hello building mates :) This isn't properly how i use to build usually but it's quite challenging as ill have counted parts I decided to build a trophy truck or something similar wich is going to have 1 cylinder, hog steering, independent suspensions in the front and rear live axle, hopefully openable doors and hood as well :) and maybe build it in a way it can be motorized the sets i've chosen are these two ill start building tomorrow and ill update this wip :) 42005 9392

oh my god that airplane is fantastic! great work on the f! as well but damn...the airplane
