I was looking for something in my "LEGO" folder and i've found this buggy i built over a year ago I don't know actually why i haven't published it, actually i should have videos of this little buggy motorized with one single L motor ripping on some rocks lol If i find it ill post it tomorrow :) I should also have LDRAW file for this one as it was meant to be given to a shop hope you like it :)

so here it is :) 3 gears and a clutch....once i'll make the shifting mechanism i'll attach that red liftarm on the same axle and it should be complete

i think that "braking system" should be a subject of judgment as well xD gravity cars actually are really interesting :)

actually the clutch is disengaged when servo rotates clockwise or anti clockwise...wich is the same time when the shift happens lol SHIFT HAPPENS

hey guys! this morning i woke up with an idea for a clutch in mind...lol i'm a wierdo XD so i thought why not try making a new gearbox around it? The gearbox i made for pajero was almost good but the 4th gear was useless, so i think the best compromise between friction, overall weight, ratios and speed is a 3g gearbox :) The problem was that with the auto clutch i always used i had to add R gear and braking system causing weight increasing and loss of space inside the frame. One thing that was really good was the switching mechanism, so i had this idea to use the 90cw and 90ccw servo's rotation to operate a clutch that disengages everytime i switch gear i think that the picture speaks for itself....now i just need to build the rest :P if it works i'll make an LDD file hope you like it :)

i usually don't like trucks but i have to say this one is really cool :) i love the steering system, just like on the real RC models

argh! im crap at driving expecially because i need to hold the camera at the same time ahahah sure you don't wanna see donuts? i don't even need to steer to do them once the car loses grip XD seriously, i need to find a good place to shoot the video and it's quite hard because i'd need some pressed soil and i can't manage to find a place like that!

Well, I'd say it's done :) i hope you'll like the final version! one of these days i'll make a video, today it's cloudy and rainy :P so final weight is 795g less than the fiesta even if it has way more parts... batteries are low and it still drifts like mad even without touching the steering lol

hmmm no i don't think i will, i mean, i've tried to, but all the other ways i've tested resulted in something heavy and unpleasing

done it! i reduced of one stud the windscreen top attachment and now it looks fine now it just needs seats and some decent pictures :)

actually i still need to modify that, it needs to be narrower and longer the ferrari's look is always behind the corner lol btw in this picture it could be a ferrari as well :D

you're totally right about the curved look! i reintroduced it :P but the whole windscreen should be a little bit narrower....maybe 1 stud only after this i just need to add seats and it's done :) hope you like it!
