We didn't have any snow so far here in the West of Germany, but seeing this lovely winter diorama, it makes me feel like Christmas (which is coming now anyway). Well done!

the attic is an interesting contrast to the shop Everything looks great, well-laid out interior. I like it very much.

Impavido (or, Restoration of an old MOC)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Elephant Knight's topic in Pirate MOCs
I took a look at the pictures on flickr. Looks good. The construction of the bow is quite intriguing! The new sails make her look more dynamic. Well done! -
A great ship, using a non-standard hull - respect! How did you manage to have the stern at such an angle? (It seems my English is not good enough to ask this question: Wie hast du es geschafft, dass der Heckaufbau in einem ca. 10-Grad-Winkel erscheint?) Amazing level of detail, well done!

Ahoy, I am still struggling to keep up to the goal of "one MOC per week", but I have something which is somewhat presentable: A Walk in the Park The Jungle Adventure! This is actually a part of the storyline I am working on. I fear I need to retake the pictures for that purpose - the lighting has not worked out as intended (and I probably shouldn't mention this not to spoil it for everyone... ) It has been quiet comment-wise on this forum, so I will be happy to read your comments! --- update ---

[MOC] Small hull vessels - custom design
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
You are right. A good solution would be some self-made sails. I was happy to be able to reuse those "old" sails. Making sails takes much more time... Better contrast: Weather was dark and lousy on the weekend when I took the pictures and the artificial lighting obviously wasn't good enough. Sorry. Then I myself find those black decks a bad thing to take pictures of (you might want to look at my modified version of the Black Pearl). Its just black melting into black... And, looking at the models, there isn't so much to be seen on deck... The pieces: I have used something called "Cockpit 10 x 6 x 2 Curved " twice. It can be found in many sets, e.g. "T-6 Jedi Shuttle" and others. Well, the colours don't come out well. One is reddish brown and the sister ship is dark red. -
Hi, blue for water is alright. Add a light or two when taking the pictures - that should do the trick. A fine MOC, nicely laid out, with a strong, self-explaining idea. Good!

Amazing - perfect! Hats off to you and this beautiful model of a ship. It is a ship of its own class - Arbeiter-Klasse (sorry, a joke for the German-speaking members) Seriously: Fantastic work, I am really impressed and I am still wondering about the curvature of the hull - how have you managed this? The red tiles on the sides also work out quite well. (Probably useful to hide some "lego sins"). I am not doing to much with LDD, so, my question is whether the flags and sails would just fall apart when being done in real bricks or is there some mechanism to link them which I could not see? Anyway: bottomline feedback is: WOW!

Great design. I am always happy when something steampunkish is being posted - and this is a fine example. Did you think about adding a mast? (Of course, there is no practical need for a mast, it is just that within steampunk those things are commonly used) Can we get some details as to how the machine guns have been constructed? This is a great MOC. My only trouble is that it will be difficult to build in real life because of the choice of colors - dark blue being "rare". Brick on!

Cool - fine design and excellent photos!

Fine MOC! A ghost with a teddybear is still a ghost. So, understandably the young knight will run away

[MoC] No Obligations (Forced perspective)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Matti's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great idea - fine execution! -
Fantastic. This is such a perfect MOC. What shall I emphasise? The overall layout? The garden? The tiles running at an angle of 45? Very well done!

CCCXII - Far away and far above
Captain Braunsfeld replied to cesbrick's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Amazing construction - and excellent landscape. I like the (ruins of a?) bridge and the swamp! -
Great that I mentioned the Dutch inspiration and that the first comment is coming from the Netherlands! The right house is tan. (The second picture is a bit dark actually)

169A Hi there, as I am trying to keep up with my "one post per week on average" policy, here are two small vessels. The have a custom design and are actually quite small (as you would expect from the topic title): ... and here they are sailing away... Comments are welcome. Have a nice weekend!

under construction: French brig WIP
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Commander Scar's topic in Pirate MOCs
Welcome to Eurobricks, Commander Scar. It's a fine project, you are undertaking - best of luck. Color-wise I perfectly agree (using yellow myself quite often). The crew looks fine and the gallion reminds me somehow of my brig "India" I have not attempted to build a ship like this, so I cannot really help. Surely Kurigan has a point here and there - you might want to consider his advise. Brick on! -
Hi, I am currently working on a few houses which I want to use for multiple purposes: a) as part of a town (canal houses) b) as part of my harbor which I started in the pirate forum. The houses are inspired by Dutch houses. They are meant to be small, they should not look too modern but should somehow still fit in with something from the seventeenth century: Please don't ask for the interiors - they have not been done yet. Awaiting your comments!

MOC Modular Music Shop and Underground Station
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Brick Hick's topic in LEGO Town
I like the underground sign and the music store. They got a decent choice of guitars. -
Very good. I love the red guitar. Also quite cute the collection of teddy bears in different colours - great build overall!

CCCXII - Dilemma in the Desert
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Dubbadgrim's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is great, and so funny. The fun almost overshadows the fact that you have built an excellent mountain pathway! Great rockwork!!! -
En garde! Very good. I keep thinking whether he can do the Fandango, but that is probably beside the point. Another amazing creation.

Great build, Captain! Why would somebody leave such a nice home like this? (Well maybe because of that strange black tree/creature on the left...) I like your non-rectangular windows a lot.
