Mitgardia Garden Challenge: Sir Gunman Lurikeen's Fountain
Kristel replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is gorgeous! I love how you did the red flower vine and the white flowers at the front . -
The buildings, the roof, the garden - all beautiful! You've captured the cloister feel perfectly.

General Discussion and Announcements
Kristel replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'll be staying tuned. I would love to have a go at this! After the last boodbath and def's "seriously messing with your head" game, I definitely need to go to school first! -
I quite like the one on the bottom right. It makes the dome more prominent, while still fitting in with the style of the rest of the building.

This is great. You might get a few pedestrians counted as well though!

Also announced at the London Toy Fair (press release): Go Friends!

Loads / loads / loads Seriously, somewhere around 70 / 90 / 60 is my guess. This has been an awesome contest, with a "gazillion" amazing entries. Voting is going to be so hard!

This is a great entry. I love the shape and colour combination for the main building. The interior and subsets all look great as well, especially the frog fountain. I would like to see a bit more texture / decoration on the building itself, but otherwise I think it fits in perfectly with the Winter Village theme. Well done!

Winter Village: First Aid / Search & Rescue cabin
Kristel replied to soundwave_sw's topic in LEGO Town
I'm not entirely convinced this would fit with the Winter Village series, but I love how you have fitted out the interior of this building, especially the x-ray. Very ingenious. I also like the look of the "Skidoo" and helicopter. Well done!- 24 replies

There's some nice details in this building, like the use of the chrome exhaust for the stove and how you have done the well. What caught my eye though was the tractor - it looks fantastic. Well done and good luck.

Thanks for the great review, LuxorV. This is one of my favourite Friends sets so far and I totally agree with the perfect score on playability. I've had as much fun doing karate chops with Emma as my daughter has! I will also be raiding it for the parts.

Nice! I like how it is actually curved like a banana. Well done.

This is really nicely done!

This is a great entry! Great colour combination and lots of details to explore, like the percolator and the hook for the ladder.

I really like the shape and interior of this building. The desks and bookshelf look great!

This is great. It looks like a very cosy cabin and I wouldn't mind sitting on that rug in front of the fire. I also like how you have done the tree. Well done!

This is gorgeous. Echoing the others, this is a great, original idea that has been beautifully executed. The look on the little boy's face brings back some memories.

He's cute! I image he will be popular amongst the Friends. And the boat's not bad. Thanks for sharing, Maya.

This is gorgeous and would fit in nicely with the official sets. It has a great colour combination and interior, and the car is perfect for the theme. I also like how you have included a dog as well as the standard kitten. This was a nice touch. Well done!

Wow. Great mech suit and awesome scene!

This is a stunning building. I love the colour combination, particularly the dark orange trim against the dark tan, and the working elevator is icing on the cake. Well done! PS. It hurts to think about how much the parts for this building would have cost.

I'm always a sucker for a florist, and find it nearly impossible to build anything without a plant or flower in it somewhere. This one has some nice details such as the window display, upstairs nursery and the snow on the upper deck. It feels a little sparse for the Winter Village Series, though. Maybe a few more plants in the shop itself and some decorative features on the outside? The standout for me is the chestnut vendor's cart - it's awesome. I really like the textures and colours on the cart. Well done.
