Wow, this is amazing. There are so many details to explore. I particularly like the candelabra and hidden doorway / secret passage, and how you have placed the same books next to each other so that they look like volumes in a set. I see quite a few of the CMF accessories - the genie's lamp, aztec's helmet, waiter's bottle, the big trophy, statuettes, swords, shields, honey pot, cowboy's hat and the golden staff from the egyptian guy, I'm looking forward to the next instalment and seeing what mansion as a whole will look like!

Interesting ... the same day I watch Darkdragon's Code Monkey again (haven't done so in a while), EB announces Fabuland month! Number of Fabuland pieces - 0 Number of Fabuland figs - 0 Yep, this is going to be challenge.

Love the concept and the execution. The gold and trans-clear looks like honey or some sort of nectar dripping slowly down. Was that the intention?[

Oops! Sorry, Alasdair, my bad! Edit: in such a rush to apologise to Alasdair I forgot to look at the update! Looks like a proper frame now with the addition of the axles.

This is great! I like how the scale you have built this at allows for the HP characters to be represented in a recognisable form. Well done!

Love it! Your builds and photography just keep getting better and better.

A wanted list is the best option as you can then see the shops that have items on your wanted list, and rank them according to who has the most unique lots. See the "By Shop" tab under the "Wanted" tab. Also, you can part out a set into a wanted list, so you don't have to go the process of adding each part manually to a wanted list. See the "Part Set" under the "Wanted" tab also.

Great start. I like how you have done the walls and the frame, but I agree with Alisdair that there should be something between the pin plates so that the frame is continuous. I'll be following this one with interest!

I won't say no to a cookie. -
Thanks for doing this. It's only a small group of structures, but it gives an impression of what the whole layout would look like - magnificent! Wish I had the bricks to make this happen in real life.

Thanks for the review. Jareth. They definitely like their sandwiches big in Heartlake City!

Stand and fight it is then. My charm will win them over! -
I struggled with this also at the start because it is hard to pull out ~2,000 pieces for a specific set once you've integrated them into your parts storage. However, I have found over time that I like building from instructions less and less, and tend to only build sets once, then integrate them into parts storage. But that's me, I prefer to do MOCs and see sets now more for the parts than anything else.

This is a fantastic first modular MOC. Well done! There's some really nice details, like the glass awning over the front entrance to the station and the way that the columns have been done on the bank building. The bank robber climbing up the downpipe is a nice detail too! Just a couple of suggestions: turn the photos on flickr the right way around and the trim on the top of the railway station could use something behind it (more like the bank building).

Sounds like almost perfect timing for me. Because the world revolves around me and assuming my enrolment application will be accepted, can it be arranged so that the game itself doesn't start until 21st Feb, as I will be offline on 19 Feb and probably 20th as well, but then 3.5 weeks at home. -
