  1. This is the first of several posts where you mention shoes and leadership. I'm going to indulge you by letting you know that I'm wearing my Dunlop sneakers. The ones with the green trim. The same ones I wear every day, without socks, so that they are nice and smelly, just the way I like them. Now, indulge me. What's with the leadership talk? You have a special ability you want to share? A role-claim perhaps to save your butt? I'm happy to be convinced otherwise, but nothing has happened while I was sleeping to change my analysis from yesterday. I'm curious, too, why no-one asked you about the leadership thing while I was in my bunk. I don't even know where to start with this. Where do you think we'd be right now if no-one asked a question? How do you propose we find the Black Mesa if we don't ask questions? replace with "from before my nap".
  2. Someone's not in sync with the others!
  3. Maybe you should re-read my posts. I've voiced my views on certain, not all people ... nobody's been attacked by me yet. An attack would be a vote for no reason or as a response to being pinged (which seems to be more Bud's style). I'm happy to answer any specific questions you have. I have nothing to hide. Why not now? I'm looking forward to seeing this as it's the type of analysis we need to vote confidently. I know it wasn't directed at me, but the question still stands. I'd like to hear what you meant by that comment.
  4. I don't know what you meant by the first part of that statement. Care to elaborate? As for kicking out the "cool guys", "cool" is relative. I'm more concerned with finding the Black Mesa and kicking them out, so I can focus on passing this class and getting the old man of my back. Looks like you're trying to start a bandwagon on me to move discussion away from Davey. We can definitely do more than just throw accusations around. Are you talking about the numbers or names? Also, it looks to me like you're trying to divert attention away from yourself by casting suspicion on someone else. Claire seem town to me. I'd love to hear why you think otherwise. Brian's analysis assumed you were telling the truth about being "666". I thought it interesting that he just took that at face value. I haven't watched a lot of Harry Potter. Are you referring to those with the preppie sweaters on? I agree, for the most part. No-one has screamed out "I'm scum" to me and, let's face it, they wouldn't actually do that. But there are definitely a few on my list of those I suspect. Here's my top 3 (in no particular order), and the reasons: Davey - first few posts weren't particularly helpful from a town perspective. Has tried to throw suspicion on Claire on more than one occasion (if I had to pick one or the other, I'd say Claire is town). Never got a number from him, although I just noticed he's offering to reveal in a PM. Really? I might be missing the blindingly obvious, but there doesn't seem to be anything to the numbers. Bud - the unreasonable response to me questioning him about his student number. We never did get his number. Allison - see above. Seems to be implicitly supporting Davey and Bud. There are others on the list, but they haven't bothered me enough yet to warrant being named. There's also quite a list of lurkers, but I'd like to give them some more time before I throw their names in the ring.
  5. Why do you care what happens to me after school. Also, it would have been quicker to just post your number and that would have been the end of that. As it stands, you've just moved up the list of people I'd like to lynch. Here's a theory - Ricky is dumb town (sorry Ricky). If he was Black Mesa, surely one of his buddies would have had a word in his ear by now to pull him into line. Or the Black Mesa are all dumb or they're are offering up one of their own for a lynch - both unlikely scenarios, I think. Or the weed is messing with my head. See above. And you've just moved up another place on the list.
  6. Not really, I've already mentioned a couple of times that I'm here because the old man made me come back. I have no interest in whether or not any team makes it to the finals.
  7. Pay attention, guys. I asked Bud, not Ricky, about his number. And I'm the stoned one here? So that I don't have to hear the band, jocks and cheerleaders yell out "Go COCKS". At least the earphones muffle out most of it.
  8. But you can by their actions. Wanna let us know why you still haven't told us what you're student number is? Google suggests that I probably have an association with a brewery or a law firm. Either one would explain how the old man can afford to send me here. Again, nothing of substance. There's been plenty of interesting tells from the discussion so far ... How about responding to Allison and I about why you're speaking so much, but not saying anything. Since you're asking, my goal is to pass this class (with as little effort as is possible) so the old man doesn't send me back again next year.
  9. He's on my radar - the last two times he's spoken up, he's effectively said nothing and he only revealed his student number on his second post after Claire raised the question about the numbers and after someone else (Cameron) did so.
  10. Would be interesting to see the list of movies and whether there are any common movies, but that analysis will probably reveal more about Ms Dragonsworth and Mr Shadeaux's movie preferences than anything else.
  11. Suspiciously? Seriously? I may not look like I'm paying much attention, but this is the Class of 1984. I thought you were being helpful raining the question about the student numbers, but now I'm starting to think you're just generating conversation for the sake of it. That's going to be a problem. I've never sat in the front row of the class and I'm not about to start now. "raining" = "raising". Wish we could go back to pencils.
  12. That was a good nap. Nothing a bit more sleep and a few eyedrops can't fix. I'm student number 03. I think there's probably nothing to the numbers. What does interest me, though, is why some are holding back on sharing their student numbers. My thoughts exactly. That chicken suit is freaking me out.
  13. Brian, mate, good to see you again! I might need to take you up on that offer. You'd think they'd be a bit smarter than turning up here in their black getup. Jeannie, you can hang out with me any time.
  14. 'sup, man? Where are those chocolate chip cookies we were promised? Black Mesa, eh? Kinda glad the old man made me come back for another class. Might actually be fun watching the Black Mesa get their butts kicked.
  15. Stunning building! There's so much to like about this building - the colour combination, the Starbucks signs on the outside, the attention to detail (such as the back entrance for the deliveries and the dumpster in the alleyway). My favourite part is how you have done the entrance and the corner of the building. I'm not sure what the issue is with the decals - they all look perfect to me, particularly the ones above the ground floor windows.
  16. That's a really cute looking combi!
  17. You can definitely feel the suspense! Great posing on the minifigs and excellent build all round.
  18. I went for the cheaper shipping option for my Palace Cinema and it came with tracking, including within Australia. The only downside was the time (it took two weeks).
  19. Now I feel a need to PM Shadows just to see what happens!
  20. This is really cool! The interior details are just fantastic.
  21. This is fantastic. I love the angles on the front, the great colour combination and how you have managed to pack so many details into such a small space.
  22. Great to see this continuing! But it feels like we are getting close to the end.
  23. Nice! The forced perspective looks great, even in the unedited shot. Well donr!
  24. This is really cute, and cleverly built as well!
