I'm not sure which part to be the most impressed by. I'm going to have to go with the torso. Excellent MOC .

Holy mutant carp this thing is packed with awesomeness. Colorscheme... . Greebling... . NPU's... . Design? You guessed it, .

While most of the ship isn't too interesting, the engine seems pretty nice; it took me quite some time to figure out how you did that.

While I'm absolutely sure that giant set thing is a joke, I would love to see a 200$+ set. Just imagine the sheer size of that thing in the TV series.

Well, I got the sets today. All the sets, with the Mini Mech polybag (and one non-GS set) for free. The Green Squad/Insectoid polybag was nowhere to be found, sadly.

Brick built scorpion? That might be a set for me to pick up.
-
So, I've got a question: Is the Crater Creeper worth getting? It seems kind of lackluster compared to the other sets.

I might use some of the Mixels balljoints to add proper finger articulation to some HF MOCS. They might also be useful for building some mini-HF at a proper scale. I'm kind of surprised actually; your post, Front, seems to imply that the new balljoints won't be used for the miniature heroes?

Hero Factory Moc Brain Attack Nex and Stringer
DraikNova replied to Takanuinuva's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Nicely authentic look. Both of the heroes are pretty good, especially Nex, but I like the Toxbot's two forms the most. -
This is pure greatness.
-
Relatively nice, considering the low parts count. It shows of the versatility of the HF system quite well, with the raptor and the kangaroo seeming the most evocative of their respective animals.

"Dover Liner" DL- 30.000sw - by DOVER Industries
DraikNova replied to Xenomorph's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Awesome dieselpunk look. The whole thing looks very creative. The fact that it moves just makes it more impressive. -
Both of them = awesome.

This guy is, like so many of your recent creations, great at evoking a specific, appropriate style that fits with the character. I especially like what weapon you chose and the use of the Knights Kingdom shoulder armor as a wrist guard.

Okay, so tr. bones = . I don't care what color they are, they will be useful. Tr. neon would work for toxic reapa style MOCs, tr. blue or tr. light blue for adding even more color to my Dragon Bolt MOC (although tr. neon would also work), tr. smoke or tr. clear for stealth cloaking equipment, tr. red, orange or yellow for flamethrowers and tr. purple would help with making a HF selfMOC.

While I can't say much about Chima, I think Ninjago did a pretty good job with Nya. She's the strongest female character LEGO has thought up. And while the most recent season of the story mostly ignores her, almost all depictions of her portray her as as capable or more so than the main male characters. Case in point: as the Samurai she wiped the floor with most enemies the ninja couldn't defeat. And while she's often the "damsel in distress", even so she manages to provide a strong character, holding off the ninja with ease when turned evil.

Just wow. The amount of detail in the sculpted rock is amazing.

Whatever the story behind the mysterious evil Wu and the new character Pixal is, it's undeniable that the two large sets are some of the best Ninjago's had, right up there with the Fire Temple and the Lightning Dragon. Apart from the purple, for which it is a goldmine (purplemine?), it just seems packed with awesome. It puts the Ultra Dragon to shame. It includes functions (the sawblades snap in or out) and some great details, like the shuriken/sawblade print flat round And the Copter is equally magnificent. Awesome aesthetics, a good design for the cannons and a great choice for the main propellor.

I think I've figured out how the mechs are built: Mixels-style balljoint parts.

I think this sum's up my thoughts on this matter perfectly. Kaiju villains = pure awesomeness. Proper HF-based mecha for minifigs = awesome. Pacific Rim-ish LEGO? Awesome.

This thing is built like a fridge. To put it another way, it looks surprisingly realistic.
-
Nice-looking steampunk 'bot. It needs a bit more gold, though.

If the Dragon is 80... Let's hope the MechaDragon is as awesome as the Lightning Dragon. And speaking of exclusives, if the Destroyers set is going to be one I hope it proves as awesome as some of the exclusives Ninjago has had in the past.

The whole colorscheme makes it looks amusing and kind of fun. Some advice for the mech form: the thrusters would make excellent blasters or very stable feet. With some work the wing flaps could be used as hands.
