    If it weren't for the Fire&Ice theme of the summer playsets, I'd be hoping for green Chi creatures. Considering the playset names, I have my suspicions that the "Missing" set is a phoenix. I'd love to be proved wrong though, especially if we get a scorpion or spider instead.

    Seeing as a lot of sets are known to be summer 2014 releases (Mixels wave 2 stands out) and weren't mentioned on that site, I think there will probably be at least one more set.

    It looks like an interesting little set. While the design is definitely not bat-like, I'm probably going to get this for the minifig-size bat wings. Could we please see a picture of those, by the way?

    I like the look of this set, and most of the reasons I'm not getting it are not specific to this set. The minifigs are beautifully designed, and the design aesthetics of the set are similarly impressive. However, white isn't exactly the most visually interesting color, nor is it one I could use more of. I'm slightly biased against Chima, but I'd definitely recommend this to any Chima fan.

    While I didn't like the Agents sets picked up (including the Volcano Base), I really hope this wave will be a little more interesting design-wise, which is what I didn't like about most of the Agents sets. It has a lot of potential, and seeing how well-done the other 2014 sets are, I have high hopes for this theme.

    I hope the "Battle for Ninjago City" set will be similar in scale to the Fire Temple. It seems kind of obvious for it be Borg Tower, possibly featuring some gimmick to turn it into a mech, so I'm hoping for something that can be pulled off a little better within a reasonable price range.

    Beautiful. Too bad the blue kind of messes with the overall aesthetic of the build. I really like how you made the torso and connected the sawblades, though. EDIT: And of course, the hand -> sawblade idea is a nice little detail.

    Yes, actually. I'm pretty sure the Queen Kaiju is the largest we're going to get. Is anyone else working on Kaiju MOCs?

    Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. It would work great as a background character for a scene, but as a stand-alone MOC...

    Now that I've looked at the trailer again, the Queen seems like a pretty good set. Lots of useful parts. In terms of MOCcing potential, this wave looks to be a good one; since the kaiju seemed far too small for my liking, I've started work on a LDD project. At minifig scale, it's about 400 meters long, or about eight Godzillas.

    This MOC seems a bit "meh". It has a very muscular, clean look to it; it just doesn't look very visually interesting. Even a single printed plate would help.

    Much, much better. It now has some sizable bulk to it (pun not intended) and looks like it could cause some serious damage.

    I'm really liking the beasts. Flyer Beast especially. The smaller sets seem much better than Splitter Beast, although I've already gotten an idea for a new MOC from him. The translucent parts on Jaw Beast seem a slightly strange choice to me, as they are far darker than the azure if not held in (very) bright light. EDIT: Regarding the prices, they were all available for the normal ones if I remember correctly.

    Beautiful. The function is a rather creative one, but the feet don't look too stable to me. A secondary joint would probably do wonders for this MOC's posing abilities.

    Presumably that's just an overstatement to indicate how bored they are.

    I got the Kai Fighter today. It's rather nice, but I wish it was easier to get the wings back to the initial position, without having to push them back by hand. Replacing the dome on the back with something else doesn't help, as that part will then just fall off.

    Wow. I think I've just found the perfect sets to get. Spynlin's Cavern has lots of lime and quite a few great pieces. I might get Lavertus' Outland Base too, if it's not too bad.

    Either would help. The 4x4 round plates and barrels idea was exactly what I was thinking of anyway. Making it partially brick-built would allow you to remove the gap caused by the "bionicle hand" piece, by replacing that with the brick version of it and then filling up the remaining area with a 2x2 and two 1x2's.

    The new Mixel sets seem rather nice, but still akwardly-proportioned as can be; that's probably to be expected and is most likely the intent. The Nixels sound significantly more interesting than the news of more Mixels, though. I guess we'll get some info on what those look like later.

    This thing is a real beauty. The only problem it has is how much the red parts clash with the relatively uniform colorscheme elsewhere on the MOC.

    Apart from a brick-built one, I'm not too sure what can be done about it. It's only a minor nitpick anyway.

    That's great to hear. I'm also kind of surprised you based the copter off of the new 2014 Ninjacopter. It seems much more like the 2011 Skelecopter that came in the Lightning Dragon set to me.

    He appears to have done so by not pushing down the Stringer helmet onto the Brain Attack head fully. So basically Brain Attack head and visor with the Stringer helmet pushed down only slightly. EDIT: Ninja'd. Somehow I managed to get ninja'd by five minutes. And my guess was incorrect as well.

    It's rather nice, but the gattling gun looks like it needs to be integrated into the build more. It (the gun) also seems slightly too thin for it's length.
