I love the aesthetic of that Space Police...whatever-it-is.

(MOC) SU-72 Jalak - Vic Viper Starfighter for Novvember 2013
DraikNova replied to toms_hart's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The yellow stripes are what really finish this off for me. I like it . -
The tile-stripes on the wings really stand out to me for some reason, more so than any other aspect of the build.
-
Good old semi-anachronistic Octan stuff. I like it .
-
Nice, classy design.
-
The layered effect makes this look quite reminiscent of a samurai's armor, which is rather nice. May I suggest a stealthier recolor in black (with some white spots, maybe?)?
-
I am in awe of your ability to create complex shapes like that. You deserve a medal .
-
That leg design is..well, it looks pretty damn awesome. The left-most (when seen from the front) fig is a nice combo of parts, too.
-
This seems...interesting. Nice background!

Every MOC you make is a an artwork. The use of the surfboards is particularly nice. The only part that could use work is the front wheelhub, which looks remarkably blocky in comparison to the rest of the vehicle; a couple of 1x4 studless slopes could solve that nicely.

Never heard of Zoids (outside of MOCs), but this is absolutely awesome.

NoVVember ? ok but If I Can spill some SHIPtember to it.

Nice weaponry, very creative design. I like the use of that wheel piece in the engine intake. -
Like everyone else has said, second is nice with maybe one or two easily fixable problems and the third needs a small rearrangement of armor pieces. The others are more or less what we had as the Savage Planet and Ordeal of Fire combo's. In other words, quite, quite visually terrifying, but in a bad way.

Review: 44021 Splitter Beast vs Furno and Evo
DraikNova replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Hell yes. The head looks slightly out of place, but the set as a whole is without a doubt my favorite of this wave. -
So, as it turns out, the three-headed Kaiju matches this guy almost exactly. I'm slightly disappointed with the hands, an easily fixable problem, but I had completely forgotten about the usefulness of the 3M bones for flexible tails, so that part of the design is nice. The art on the bottom of the bag is to die for. Yet another reason to keep these things. I might just have to set up a display of honor for this wave.
-
Nice, but seeing as it's mostly technic (and it doesn't feature any particularly interesting colors), I might decide not to get this set, although it's build is amazingly imposing. Thanks for the review!
-
Slightly worse than I thought it would look, but I'll probably get it; completion value, and no matter what the show might...show, my headcanon will be Breeze taming this monster. So yeah, I'm getting it for extra parts .
-
Of the mechs, I'd say this is my third-favorite, just after Evo's XL-mech and Rocka's Stealth Machine. Nice review, by the way.
-

This guy is probably my second-favorite from the wave, just after Splitter Beast. The build isn't too interesting, but the color scheme is perfect, also making it useful for a parts pack, so I might just be getting two of this guy.%
-
I'm kind of amused. For once I'll be getting the new release before most of you guys .
-
Holy whatever-the-hell that's next to the three-headed Kaiju is. Summer wave will be awesome. I'm wondering if that weird mouth-thing is the crevice mentioned in the description, or that giant set Front mentioned. That sentence just got much more believable, and since I can see shark-like facial features on it, I'm pretty optimistic about that being a set.
-
Damn, now I need to get at least two figures: one bat (for the wings) and one Spider or Scorpion (for the awesome tails). This wave might tempt me to buy some of the larger sets anyway. The spider and scorpion vehicles are pretty good, after all.
-
Okay, so Evo's walker isn't that ugly. Huh. I might pick it up, as I've got a good amount of christmas budget left over. While the trans bones are the main attraction in Jaw Beast, I've got only one thing to say: Purple spikes.
-
Well, I guess the techno-blades make a bit more sense now. I still can't understand why they are called blades, though.

This one seems kind of disappointing. Interesting, but just very underwhelming in it's execution.
