  1. Really enjoying the way the red looks, great job sandwiching it between dark grey to keep it from overpowering the build. Really nice road texture too!
  2. Really smooth build, love your floor pattern! Great job on the monument.
  3. This is SUCH a good idea, the giant books are epic and I love the scroll covered table and all the stuff to spot as you look around, like the mouse with his cheese! I definitely enjoyed the story too. Great stuff!
  4. I loved this style and concept so it's great to see it revisited! Great work on the grove and the siding. I kind of wish you had done shutters on the second story windows as well as the first, it's such a large chunk of tan, but great job on the mangroves and the roof!
  5. The microscale Abyssian is instantly recognizable! Great design for the explosion too, hats off to you for bringing new technology to the guilds.
  6. Oh, ha, I actually meant the Avalonians That is a perfectly fascinating arm that I now want get so I can find a way to use it as a tiny pair of jeans. The close-ups are all really good, the group one has a little too much glare which comes from the light not being sufficiently diffused. Moderate cloud cover is the best diffuser, but that's not always available on demand... If you're shooting in natural light from a window, might be good to try bouncing it around with some large white poster boards. But I'm one to talk. Wait until you see my figs, I didn't even try to take a group photo.
  7. Enjoyed the dialogue, quite fun. Love the ridiculously oversized doors too... I hope there's not much furniture or anything in there. Great build, definitely screaming Eslandola!
  8. Awesome, looking forward to seeing more of the town!
  9. This is lovely, beautiful water, very organic layout for the vegetation, great variety in the trees, and also a really good wall and tower, just the right amount of texture. Great work! +1 for the UoP credits!
  10. Quite a fun way to use these bags! I like how you tried them both ways. Didn't these parts come in green somewhere? That would probably look really good.
  11. Great job on this fort, but I especially love your design for the native tent! Great idea with those black wedges on the nougat background!
  12. It's really neat how you tied several of your characters together in pairs, great idea. A lot of great combos, love your Varlyrian sister and brother, and incredibly cute posting with the baby hugging its mother's leg. Those four arms on the pixie are throwing me for quite a loop though, is that a single-molded double arm?? Did not know that existed!
  13. So funny, perfect face and I love how you knocked the contents of the boat all over the place. Lady Cora will have to do a better job calculating the tides for her second attempt.
  14. The style of this is so recognizable! Pretty much nailed the texture at this scale, I love the little detail of the light grey above the windows.
  15. What lovely unique tulips, I'm sure she will love them. Really nice chair design and the curtains are great too. And loved the humor in the story!
  16. The sideways barrels are a great idea, I also love the pirate flag bedspread. Really cool little vig, great to see that this challenge is inspiring folks!
  17. Wait are some of those redcoat torsos actually printed onto the backs of the legs?... so cool... Really like the floor pattern too, feels quite appropriate. Great job getting lots of telescopes in here and I love the crates on the bottom of the wall, perfect texture!
  18. These are some great minifigure combos--impressed by how frequently you managed to near-seamlessly blend heavily printed legs and torsos that weren't meant for each other! Some of these characters are pretty intriguing too. I especially like the embalmer. Great call with the colorcoded backgrounds to easily distinguish guilds!

Chapter IChapter IIChapter IIIChapter IVChapter V Chapter VI Chapter VII Chapter VIII Chapter IX Chapter X Chapter XI Chapter XII Chapter XIII Chapter XIV Chapter XVChapter XVIChapter XVIIChapter XVIII Chapter XIX Chapter XX Chapter XXI Chapter XXII (you are here) Chapter XXIII Meanwhile (in case you’ve forgotten, I mean, while Eslandola in general and certain individual people in particular were in despair at the loss of Captain Argentum) Captain Edward Argentum was not particularly enjoying himself either. To be continued... I've always liked these tread pieces, this was a fun use to find for them. It's a bit flimsy for sure. But not more flimsy than everything else in this vig. Also fun to use the turquoise underwater stuff. New appreciation for those, they're actually really cool. Thanks to those of you who are sticking with the Captain in his adventures. Will the sharks get him at last or with Edward Argentum cheat death again??
  20. What a clever disguise, I certainly didn't recognize him. You always come up with such cool repetitive textures, this is no exception. Looks so intriguing and mysterious, I do hope we'll find out what happens next!
  21. What a massive hotel! Neat layout with the four round towers, I also love that you placed it at an angle. Lots of interesting minifigure activity going on too. Great work.
  22. Looks to me like we got the harder seed part here... Challenge accepted.
  23. Nooo... Lady Cora has to survive to rescue Captain A...
  24. This is a lovely little pirate era MOC, it's got the barrels, the cannon, the palm tree, and of course the red and bluecoats! Great work, it's a really enjoyable build to see!
  25. Thanks Evan! I thought so too about the underside of a brick, chose one of those ones with only one stud on each side on purpose to have a more interesting underside. Glad you noticed! Thanks Capt Wolf! Someday I want to invest ( ) in several hundred 1x2 trans light blue plates and do this kind of wave at a proper scale. Thank you! Funny thing about my rowboat... Lady Cora's skirt is actually built right in so she'd be thoroughly soaked right now if this were real. Thanks Ross! Thank you! One thing I love about building vignettes, lots of opportunity to tinker with little details. Thanks! That's cool to hear, makes me feel like I did a good job with the shape. Thanks Garm! I agree, this is definitely one of the better vigs. Water makes everything better...
