  1. This is looking really good. I love the design all over. The only suggestion is that the stairs leading to the front door of the building is made smaller. It looks quite big and blocky compared to the rest. :)
  2. Looks really nice. I love the simplicity to the design. :)
  3. Great so far. My fire brigade might need some new jackets since they are all some 25-30 years old. I will definately make them order from your shop. :D
  4. I got all the minifig dudes already. But what i really need is the LEGO dollar bills. They wont give them up that easily. Dont know how or why.But even thou i have quit a nice collection of LEGO i dont have even one dollar tile in my collection. Think ive had those gangster minifigs around for to long, not giving my police squad orders to keep them under surveliance !!
  5. Im am thinking of building a pub.But it would be more like the kind of italian mob style club with an illegal casino in the back of it. However i think that my fire department will be placet next to the gallery. But i will soon have to decide where i will place my beach and harbour for all of it to come together. If the firedepartment aint gonna be placed next to gallery, it will be placed on the opposite side of the road to BricksRus, and a hotel next to the gallery. Oh and i just saw your note from an earlier post. :D I havent planned a supermarket yet. I think im already in the progress of so many builds already, but a supermarket would also be nice to have in the long run. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Very appreciated :)
  6. I was at the LEGO store in Copenhagen Denmark monday this week. They had the sets there already. :)
  7. Love it. How did i miss it. :D Just as with your grocery store, a lovely rendering and great interior. Really friends appeal to it. Well done . :)
  8. I love the exterior look to it. Makes me kind of sad that you aint making interior for it. But i bet you have been told a million times already ! :P
  9. Quite astounishing. A lot of lovely details here. :)
  10. Then you should definately try their tiled roundplate friends flower burgers, theyre awesome ! :P Yes indeed. The snackbar and the bicycle store was some of my favorite sets. Also the maersk truck. And the yellow castle and a lot of the neo classic space sets. lol. I could go on. Im seriously just glad that my old TFOL LEGO was in as good condition as it was after it all got flooded. So im in no way complaining. I just have to get the best use of what i have of all my old pieces. Speaking of which. A new building is taking shape next to the BricksRus and Skyline buffet. This is gonnna be the vintage tile art gallery.
  11. Thanks. :) Noo, i didnt trash it. It has been tared since my childhood. If it wasnt that the original baseplate for it is broken and the streetsign as well, i would probably have used it as it was with a few tweaks. Now im making it brand new instead. Hopefully giving it the respect and glory it deserves. Time will tell. :D And yes BricksRus!!!!! Also you should visit the skyline buffet when it opens. Its plasticlicious !! :P
  12. Lovely little store. And it really looks like it could be a friend set. Also, i love your rendering. It got a nice tweak looking both LEGO and animated at the same time. Well done :)
  13. Thanks. Im looking forward expanding it also. Im so loving building cit and modulars. Its so much more tricky than i would have thought. :) Im now considering the exterior of my first modular build somewhat done. I think that thereis only minor details i will have to tweak and change. Ive only begun on the interior. Here topfloor the resturant and the kitchen. Second floor. Two apartments will be located here. The BricksRus store and the backside snackbar. When all the interior is done i still need all the stickers im also in progress of making. So still a long way to go. As always please do comment to help me get better. I really appreciate advices on what is looking way off and what is good. Thanks in advance. :)
  14. So now i will need 3 of each set. two for display showing both of the alternate builds, and 1 for stockpiling. Damn you LEGO im gona need a lot of money for all off this. :D Anyhow, i love all the sets and im so looking forward to the movie. For people who live in Denmark, i was told yesterday that both the sets and the minifig serie will be for sale from 27th of december in the LEGO store in copenhagen.
  15. Lovely .... I hope that is icewater ...... Ohm, me being male .... Its just that ... Winter, christmas, ice and .... Well never mind :P Love the build :D
  16. It could "just" be inverted, making a whole roof system to transport the choppers and planes around. I love that diffrent levels also can be incorporated with this system. Great job so far. :)
  17. AllBrickCity November 2013
  18. I havent had any time to build or take pictures or do a proper setup whole week. And my schedule for next week looks like its gonna be the same. So i used my hours this evening to do a quick update on what i had promised already a week ago. The first modular of my city. As mentioned first floor will hold a BricksRUs. Second floor apartments. Top floor Skyline buffet. Its plasticlicious. :D Its all modular. But i havent made a lot of interior yet. I will offcourse post whenever i get a build finished. The crypt in the background will be modified to fit in my city since i love that build. In the foreground a new building site is taking shape. Backside and topview of the square center so far. The building havent yet been closed on the backside. As mentioned it was ment to just be a diorama for the LEGO movie, but i decided to make a town, so a lot of changes is in progress. Backside of the squarecenter. This is a snackbar. Im thinking that the whole street here on the backside will become a shoppingstreet, and it will also lead to a nice overview of the beach im planning. Some of all the sets i will incorporate with the city as it evolves. This is the first vehicle ive ever made without instructions. The Maersktruck. In my LEGO universe Maersk is constructing buildings. Well, for now. This and the 1651 will be part of the harbour when i get to building that. But im quite happy with it. I think it looks just as i would expect a Maersk truck to look like. Im in the progress of building a crane. But i wanted it to have some playability. But its quite hard to make a functionel crane with technic on minifig scale without making it "to big" to fit my cityscale. But its still in progress. So much more to come. Also the lime green building that is shown on some of thye pictures will not be a part of the town as it looks now. I just wondered if i had enough bricks in limegreen to build a building like that so it was merely a beta build. Now please ask questions and give advices on what is good and bad as i want to learn all i can from you town builders since im new with all this. Thanks in advance. :) So i just updated. And i will add it in "the town layout index" just now. Thanks for the nice remarks. :)
  19. The exterior of this build is lovely. I especially love the pub / bar. Definately having an english / Irish look to it. Well done. :)
  20. This is awesome. Took me down memory lane for sure. I would love to have enough really old bricks to be able to do something like this. Great job. !!!!
  21. Fantastic build and lovely details. Im loving your windows on the attic and im gonna borrow that method for a build of my own. ;)
  22. Lovely microscale display. I like it. :)
  23. This is great. I love how you have made it look like a disco at the same time.
  24. Lovely building site. Im doing the same for my city and im amased how similar they look. I love how many details you have brought to a build this small. Great build ! :)
  25. Dammit this is good. Im so amased with how you make small builds look so damn detailed. So freaking well done this build. Oh, but as mentioned. More interior !! :P
