LEGO Family

Hehe .... Thats the "slum" part of the town. If so im surprised the "hardware" glass wall is still intact :P

I admit that i circle around town now and then when i have a lot of money on my LEGO budget. I know which stores usually have no clue how to price LEGO and now and then i get last years sets for below half the price. Then i have these few stores that usually dont have any discount, but have the new sets and specials quite close to release date. As a third, i offcourse go to the copenhagen LEGO store visiting the PAB wall, to expand my collection of bricks for my MOC´s. Overall, we have LEGO everywhere i go in Copenhagen. So im sattisfied

What i got of LEGO was: A lovely giftcard for the Copenhagen LEGO store. With this and my spared WIP points i should be able to get a lot of The LEGO movie sets that i really want. I got a Halloween minifig head storage cannister. And my favorite, a second LOTR Tower of orthac set. So for me it was awesome. Well, as a sidenote, my sister son who is only 3 years old got a lot more LEGO than me, i envy him :P

Im buying quite a lot of PAB´s every month, so i wouldnt buy myself a gift though it was tempting But i do like the idea, and more should practice it ! First of merry christmas to you too !! So, how did it turn out ? Awesome !! Your mystery box wasnt that bad at all i read !! Rattling boxes is bether than non at all !!! And i do like that set. Just so many other sets i would rather have at the moment. Thats a family that really makes ones collection of LEGO expand. What a huge amount of sets !!!! Another great family ! That amount of sets is just insane. Oh my !! I would have loved to get those also I myself got quite amased. I was thinking that i would end up with a few of the Hobbit sets, and my halloween minifig head storage cannister. But they surprised me. I didnt get any hobbit sets. I once told my sister that i usually doesnt assemble sets unless i have two of them. One for show one for my collection. But when i got my LOTR Tower of orthac i just couldnt resist assemble it. So i was that set short. And guess what i got. I also got my Halloween head. And i got a lovely giftcard for the LEGO store in copenhagen. With the card and my spared WIP points, i should be able to get my favorite The LEGO movie sets one of the following day. So i got some good gifts also. No need for me to change tactics next year Merry christmas all and a happy new year !!! Keep brickin

Yummy ..... Would love to take a trip to your "hut" before going to my parents for the christmas dinner. ( I mean, i can eat all day on christmas day. Its not that i dislike my moms food. ! :P )

How many of you know that their might be very little chance that your family and wife / girlfriend will have bought LEGO for you for christmas, even though you have put it on your wish list. And which sets do you hope you will get. And then what did you get ? Add a before / after christmas note and what you wished for and what you got. Also this could be used mathematically to figure out a plan for next years christmas to lure your partner and family into buying you more LEGO. Personally, since ive only been reunited with my LEGO addiction for some 3 years having had a dark age lasting some 25 years. ( which is actually today since i first started to build with my stepson 3 years ago on Christmas day and then i was turned into an addict again.) It was only last christmas that i actually told my parents and sister that my biggest wishes for christmas was LEGO, they kind of laughed at me. It took my girlfriend some 14 days to convince my mom that i honestly meant it. And i ended up with a small giftcard for the copenhagen LEGO store. They seemed to still be sceptic. This year they have been following my addiction and they have seen what im building and is taking it quite serious. Ive been wishing for giftcards and some of the Hobbit sets from the last wave, but mostly giftcard as i explained to them, The LEGO movie sets wont be out till after christmas, and i WANT THEM ALL !!!!! I for sure know that i get a Halloween LEGO minifigure head container, cause we saw it on sale when i was out shopping with my sister. I said WOW thats cheap, im gona buy that. She told me to go get a cup of coffee and not to buy it. Now im just wandering what i will get besides that one, and if i dont get to much LEGO i will have to change my strategy for next year. So, what are you all wishing for? What have all you AFOLs done to make sure you will get it for christmas? And finally what did you get ? Oh, and merry christmas everyone !!! :)

There is still a few sets not yet revealed. And he will come or LEGO will have a huge amount of fans sending them mails and calling them to ask wth they are thinking of ! :D

Just2good, i definately understand why you miss playfeatures on the flying icecream truck, but i still like it. And in fact it would be cool to get your favorite cone brought to you by air instead of by road. I do like both of the builds and will definately have to get at least 2 of these sets. I love both of these. The exterior but especially the interior is supreme. Gonna borrow a few of your ideas when i get to build ambulances for my city. Danish ambulance as they mostly look: Very nice work indeed. :)

Looking good. But dont rush anything. And im curious to know what a landmark store sells?

I like the simplicity of this. The simple method of the pavement connecting the diffrent pavements really works. A lot of work could be done wtih this but it looks quite good overall. Well done. Its an old post, but more pic would be cool . :P

Not bad at all. Ive had so many problems trying to make use of the space availabe on so little space in a modular and failed. You did good. Nice chess tile btw. :D

This is really "cool". Amazing how stickers take builds to a whole new level. Your lift and "lifter" ( ? ) are really well done. Im not a fan of Coca cola but your build is indeed great. :)

I couldnt agree more. However i think that TLC knows all about that. Having animated him as a minifig with a broken helm, and the spaceship poster im pretty convinced we will se a classic space set. Otherwise im gonna return all the rest of the LEGO movie sets i will have bought up till that date. I seriously hope that set will se the surface or i am gonna be so dissapointed and seriously feel that the LEGO movie wave werent concluded. Time will tell eventually.

Feel the same way. Then again i had a dark age lasting 20years and have only been back in a relationship with my LEGO for some 3 years. I seriously feel like i wont ever stop playing with LEGO again, im more likely to stop wasting time on the community and spend the time building instead. :P

I thought my next post would be an overview of Allbrickcity, but i once again fell over my firedepartment and got alomost all interior finished. Now i only need to make a sign for the ABCFDP, maybe add a few antennas to the roof and make doors for the small fire vehicle entrance and a door for the first floor. Second floor interior. First floor interior. Whenever im finished with the firetrucks and all the small details still missing, i will make a post alone for the ABC FDP. This will probably be first totally finished modular build for my city. As always please come with suggestions and other feedback. Thanks in advance. :)

As always your stickers looks excellent. I love the "express post" sticker. Then what about a bookstore or a butcher shop sounds spot on. It could also be a little pub for the locals to share rumors and bit*h about the weather. Maybe a dentist or a haircut shop.

Pretty little house with some nice details. The studying room is excellent. Yeah, the custom figs are nice too. Well done. :)
