  1. I think the two smalllest sets look pretty good for parts and minifigs. If the prices on the Swedish site matches danish kroners im gonna get a few of each for sure. Now we just need to await reviews for the sets to see all that we miss from the boxart.
  2. Fantastic. Very well sculptured indeed and nice piece usage. I really like the use of arms as fingers.
  3. Maybe its to much of the same color, but i think all your textures look very good. The building is very convincing. :)
  4. Awesome microbuild. So many details on such a little space, and the colors are wonderful. :)
  5. The set itself has been posted in toppost as always. The abandoned crypt. Here is chapter two. Chapter one is further up on the page. A direct link to it can be found in top post. Hope you enjoy. :) An wip log will be on its way also. And as always. Please give some feedback. Thanks in advance.
  6. Cool build. Looks very classic. The terrain is very pretty.
  7. This is a cool little build. I love the colors on this. Well done. :)
  8. Thats just awesome. Considering that im in there like 2 times a week and havent seen it, must be because im always heading straight for the PAB wall. Now i need to buy a few of those sets on friday or monday. Thanks for letting me know. :)
  9. First of all. When i build MOCs normally they get dissasembled almost immediately after ive taken the pictures i need for posting. On rare occations i have them hanging around. I have one still hanging that i made 2 years ago. Its "the little blue book" from Doctor Who, im not sure if ive posted it in here. Also i have my Classic Space still around, cause i builded it with my stepson, and we still need to make the 5th "classic fied" episode together. ( This isnt part of the build, so i could have dissasambled it.) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87415&hl= And right now while im building my Chronicle of Dragon Dent project, i now and then really want to tare it apart for parts. But so far i havent really needed any bricks from it. Also its 6 baseplates, so its taking up a lot of space. Considiring my Castle project is 16 baseplates so far, my whole apartment by now has LEGO all over the place. I love it. My girlfriend really doesnt agree that LEGO has to be placed in cabins in the kitchen though. :P I mostly buy sets for pieces, but i have a few around for display. A few LOTR sets, and when i get to build my tower of orthanc that will definately be on display for a while since i builded an exclusive stand for it alone. ( Im educated master cabinet maker).
  10. Wonderful review. And, ive never seen this set. Now its a must have. I always wondered where people had gotten those printed tiles i se now and then. I guess they are from here. Thanks for sharing. :)
  11. Congratulations on the 5 years of reviews. Unfortunately i havent been around on eurobrick for that long. Buit i have surely viewed a lot of reviews and must say that they are very high quality. Thats probably due to all the work you all, teachers and students put into them. Dont ever stop. I sometimes wish i had time to do this also, but then i would probably end up not having time to build. Again congratulation on the 5 years. Now we look forward to the 10th year anniversary. :)
  12. Lovely. Your siege tower is a nice touch as well as the defence cabinet above the tower gate. Any chance this have been inspired by Warhammer ?
  13. Fantastic build. The entrance on the first floor looks very vonvincing. One question. Does your castle have interior on the diffrent floor levels ?
  14. Very simple design. Thats awesome. With a few tiles and a few plates with darker / lighter color, this could be a very awesome set. This just gave me an idea for a blacksmith for my castle. Thanks for the inspiration. Loved this one. :)
  15. Wow. This looks great. Your photo setup was just perfect for this build. It looks really convincing. And very clever part usage on that bike. :)
  16. So many funnies in here. Well done everyone. Looking forward to even more. ! :D
  17. I love your scarecrow and your interior for the house is awesome.
  18. Not bad at all. I like the tower a lot. Im never gonna be a fan of that "water" effect. Just pouring bricks out like that. But thats all i dont like about your build. Brick on :)
  19. I can finally reveal my terrain plan. More on that further down. Last time i hadnt done the outside walls of the top level of the kings castle cause i didnt know how to fit the roof. I got that in place now, but the roof design is still teasing me. Some changes and some interior has also been done for the second level. It can even be rotated to fit both ways, and you will still be able to move around the whole of the floor. But its ment to sit this way. The library has been widthened. Not much else has been done with the floors. Ive begun work on the princess garden as well, and the castles yard. Still a llot of details and stuff to be squeeked all around the castle. Which is good. A lot more fun for me in the horizon. Ive redesigned the corner towers for the castle as well, filling in the walls, but even though at first, i was very pleased with the design. Now to me it just looks out of place i will redesign them again. I also rebuilded the castles gate. Lets move on to another build im progressing on. This will become an abandomed crypt. This was the "table scrap" of it. I will probably end up rebuilding this 4 times as i did with the Princess horse carriage9 without the roof. All the parts. Frontview of the crypt. "backside" of the crypt. Now lets expand the whole of the terrain. This is merely test setup. I havent been able to reveal any of the terrain design before now since, first of all, i didnt know how i would like it all to be placed. Second it also had ot fit with the story that goes along and it shall offcouse end up looking awesome ( i hope). Also, even though i have a lot of bricks, i know from previous experiences that you always ebd up not having what you need in the end. So i didnt want to make it bigger than i had bricks for neither. Therefore im building on some 3-4 baseplates at a time, so i know what i will need, and so i can shrink or widthen the whole setup in the end. Lets look at what i have in mind. First of all. Im still hiding a few baseplates for you since showing them now would lead you to know whats obvious, and would ruin some of my story for the build. However i will let you in on all of this for now. So the road leading from the castle has been expanded. A shipwreck will be located here. This might be expanded since i havent startet on that build at all yet. The abandoned crypt surrounded by a forest here. an infested area will be placed here behind the crypt. A waterfall and a mountain / hill will be located up here. So all in all still a lot more work to be done all over. Having finally been able to sketch out the terrain i can now get to the joy of maming all the diffrent plates fit together. As always, please do comment and tell me what looks good and what is looking misplaced, bad as that will help me improve my building skills. Thanks in advance and i hope you enjoyed. Thanks. I hope that the build and the story will follow along being awesome both of them :D Thanks a lot. I hope it will continue to be great. I love doing colors that is of from what most do. I just always look at these piles of bricks that i never really use for other things than strenghtning a build and wonder what can i use them for.
  20. What an lovely idea for charity. And a great short sword also. Next year if i remember i will take part of this. Great work for a great purpose. :)
  21. As mentioned in top post. Every time i finish a set for this diorama, a short story will follow along. I would have posted it together with the work in progress log, but im not sure if i will get it done tonight. A lot of work in there. Anyways here it goes. So that was chapter one, introducing the Princess horse carriage. Feel free to comment both for good and bad as it will all help me improve my building skills. And as mentioned, a WIP is on its way. Lots of stuff has been done. Thanks in advance.
  22. Ahhhh, its becoming more and more real ..... My precious ! :D Looks great. I remember this from the contest. Now with boxart, im looking forward to seeing the rest of the sets.
  23. Thats also what im going for. But there is also a Comic forum here on Eurobricks. So i got in doubt. So better ask. :) Thanks for your thoughts thou. :) Thats what i think. I want to build all this to perfection of what my skills are. Its definately more about the builds, than about the story. The story is more of a motivator, but is also there. I think im allowed to post it in the Historica then. Lets try it. Otherwise it can all be rearranged in the future. Thanks Rufus. :)
  24. I do eat snacks while building. The best i can think of is fried chicken. Yes, correct. I do use a load of paper while building ... Hehe I can make a kilo of chicken in the deepfrier. Then they will just stand along while i build. On the other hand i never drink soda. But only water.
  25. Quite lovely little house. Very belieavble. :)
