  1. Nice small set review! Very good pictures, I would agree with you on the stickers it is kind of over done I didn't put all mine on. -RailCo
  2. Great job! Love the detail you have there! Would like to see an interior shot! -RailCo
  3. Very nice MOC love the way it connects to the Railway ;). I also like the way you have done those fences and the parcels! Great Work -RailCo
  4. Oh, didn't catch that I would assume so -RailCo
  5. If the motors are on the same channel and slot on the receiver they will be opposite of each other Diagram: Front <-- Middle --> Back. If they both go forward the train goes nowhere. -RailCo
  6. I want to get into 12v train (Buying)

  7. I would recommend an O-ring pack or two they are pretty cheap and do the job well the company i bought from was Danco (found in most hardware stores) the number off the box is #96749 if that does you any good -RailCo
  8. can you still use the 9v motor when not powered by the battery box and if you wanted to use it just by itself like a normal 9v motor could you still use it for those purposes? Great tutorial -RailCo
  9. I wish I could get my hands on one of those whistle powere systems or the train itself! Plan to look at the rest of the photos here soon! Thanks -RailCo
  10. You can actually use a PF Rechargeable battery box for it too if you use the little speed switch on the box and connect it using a 9v to PF cable. Personally I would pickup a new regulator as they are relatively cheap (around $20) compared to the PF Rechargeable battery box (Around $50). The only benefit of using the battery box is that it is less bulky and it has 7 speed steps as opposed to 6 on the 9v regulator. I have been meaning to make a short video on the difference for awhile now. Hope that helps! -RailCo
  11. I actually tried this exact idea for my 0-6-0 tanker seen here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111250. When I first designed it but then found out it was way to slow and wouldn't look realistic unless you had it with a long rake of cargo. I suggest rethinking the way you power it but overall a great looking loco! -RailCo
  12. I am getting jealous of everyone who has already received there Truck , as mine has taken 13 days to ship and there is still a few more days to arrive (ordered on Aug. 1st...) Getting impatient great additions to all though who have already modified it. -RailCo
  13. Great little layout you have there! I wish I could get to see that Class 08 running or some pictures of it! -RailCo
  14. I disagree with this statement the color is realistic to the TGV so If you don't like the color you don't like the train in general is what was implied. You made it sound like it was the most disgusting thing you had ever seen by lego which it is not at all. Remember that these models have to be limited on what they can have as the need to be limited to parts and pieces. I believe that these models are absolutely excellent! Regard -RailCo
  15. Very interesting to see such a long fire train and you have captured it perfectly! Great work -RailCo
  16. If you mean make a raised track yes you just have to support it slightly different. If you mean an incline it can but it can't be terrible sharp angle you would have to do your own tests on that Hope the helps -RailCo
  17. I don't remember there being a second gear like that. My only suggestion is to ask the guys on the Train Tech fourm as this was a main motor in the 80's for 4.5v trains. You could try flipping the gears around but i am not sure Sorry I couldn't be much help Good Luck! -RailCo
  18. To answer to all of the Americans out there we are finally getting in on August first! Link: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Heavy-Haul-Train-60098 Hope that helps! -RailCo
  19. Sad to see such a good looking layout go! Thank you for sharing your layout with us and I hope to see that layout next year! -RailCo
  20. Hello, I should be able to help you just PM me a picture of the gearbox as I have my motor in a model at the moment to my knowledge you cannot change the speed but I'll take a look if you can send a picture of it. -RailCo
  21. Do you have an image of the catalog to show us?
  22. USA seems to not be getting a lot more sets than other places recently and I am not sure why. For example the new 60098 Heavy Haul Train was available to every other country but the U.S. and maybe Canada and there is no information on if it will be released maybe they are loosing money on certain items or they aren't making enough off them. I do hope that we get the MB Arocs because I really like this set and since it is a Flagship and licensed set I presume we will. -RailCo
  23. Well It really is coming along nicely and 8 baseplates long! WOW! mine can only fit 5 . Anyway it is good that you can expand it to a baseboard to make it larger but bad that you have to take it down. I am wondering if you can keep it intact for the most part and stick it up in the attic, loft, or basement for later unless you need the pieces and buildings on the actual layout for other things. I did notice a coal and water tower area is there a closer picture of those that I missed or if you have the chance could you snap a picture of that because that seems like something I would want to build Great Job love seeing the updates! -RailCo
  24. Okay I may try and piece on of these together since it is so rare because this is a really amazing set and I have grown to love the set -RailCo
  25. I really love the design of this Gas Station! I wish that Lego would make a more of them because they recently haven't! Where are the Lego figures supposed to gas up there cars?!?! Well absolutley perfection of a model, really love the addition of lighting. Would you be able to show a more in depth picture(s) of that shell truck I spotted! Impeccable Job! -RailCo
