  1. Absolutely fantastic build, the amount of detail you've put in it is outstanding! I need to spend a lot of time looking at these photos. So glad that you have been building in Kaliphlin the past few months, you are very welcome to stay for Book III
  2. Some more pictures from the first exhibition:
  3. Not this year unfortunately...but I hope you will have a great time! Make sure that GoH is well represented there
  4. Excellent beacon design and good landscaping overall. UoP +1.
  5. Nice shape overall and good color use. I really like the leaning white walls and how the tower changes diameter very smoothly! A small piece of criticism is however that I prefer if a picture is either significantly cropped or shows the whole build, so a overall shot without cropping a small part of the build would be appreciated
  6. Very nice scene overall, and I like the idea of showing plants from different parts of Historica
  7. Nice build and the bg looks great!
  8. Nice scene with appropriate minifig posing and furniture
  9. Wow! Did not know that this was built to fit together Except that I'm too lazy to usually bother with interiors
  10. Excellent enviromnent! I love the palm trees in the barrels
  11. Lovely foliage and atmosphere in general That last picture conveys an excellent feeling of the Spice Islands. Suggestion for improvement is imho that the water is too "banded" in the different colors.
  12. Let me present the first iteration of the Swebrick post-apocalyptic landscape! (I assume this belongs in this forum...?) More modules and exhibitions to come.
  13. Nice vignettes! Not every day you see that much landscaping crammed into such a small base as your vig with the tree I don't like the "leakage" of white from behind the green however, a darker and/or more "earhty" color would have been better imho.
  14. That dock looks very good, and the whole scene is quite lovely A photography nitpick: I think that it is good if "overview" shots showing the whole picture is sharp from front to back. For closeups like the middle picture however, short depth of field can look great
  15. I love the walls of that white house, great work!
  16. Nice colors and architecture! I like the amount of detail you've put into this build Regarding photography I have two comments: First, I think the base almost disappears against the dark background. A lighter colored base or a lighter background would have looked better imho. Secondly, I think the pictures look a bit tilted. I usually try to align them so that vertical lines in the middle of the frame are vertical. You can also go further away with the camera and zoom/crop to change the perspective to have vertical lines be more vertical (if not the leaning effect is a desired artistic touch)
  17. Thanks! The reason for keeping them together is mostly lack of time, not having time to build anything big with the parts or even have time to disassemble and sort. And yes, it is also a positive result of having collected bricks for a few years by now that I can keep a 96x128 castle, a 48x64 city scene and a bunch of smaller builds together and still be able to have reasonable freedom to MOC without having to start all MOCing with disassembling You are very welcome to build in Barqa!
  18. Nice Eastern atmosphere here! UoP +1 for History and Roofing.
  19. Nice tomb, good work with the atmosphere there
  20. Interesting color use and good design overall I especially like the red and white building, good job with the dark red patterning!
  21. Once again you are treating us with a top-class build! Well balanced design overall and lots of great details.
  22. Represented Guilds of Historica at the Swebrick exhibition last weekend: (only the castle to the left is mine) It was a lot of fun since I got to talk to many interested AFOLs and public visitors about GoH and what we do there
