  1. Thanks! I thought that there must be some quite large areas around Mpya Stedor which are grass-covered (and not only desert) since there is such a rich equestrian tradition there
  2. Thanks! Ordered a bunch in the last LUGBULK to be able to build wheat fields (placed in the hollow studs of technic bricks).
  3. Guerrilla build for the High Council against Ulandus at J14 For the Republic!
  4. Raiding in the Grasslands Guerrilla build for the High Council against Ulandus, zone J14 Light cavalry from a desert nomad tribe loyal to the Kaliphlin High Council. They are patrolling and raiding in the grasslands west of Mpya Stedor. For each raid, the Ulandians are finding it harder and harder to keep control of the area. And a closeup shot, can you feel some of how vast the grasslands of Kaliphlin are? Not all of Kaliphlin is sand you know! For the Republic!
  5. Great counter! That will teach them to study the map some more before rushing into a seemingly safe breach Also nice to see that more Kaliphlin cities have adopted the strengthening measures used in the Walls of Petraea, where layers of bricks are making the walls more resilient to siege weapons, earthquakes and elemental attacks. (Note: That technique was in turn inspired by the real-life walls of Constantinople where that technique was used to make the walls more resilient to earthquakes) Photography is stellar as well, the background works wonderfully!
  6. Guarding the Dam Warzone 2: "Battle for the Reservoir", G12 Kaliphlin High Council soldiers are guarding one of the dams of Flagg's reservoir. Since the top of the dam is a good route for troop movements, a barricade has also been built to help stopping any attempt by either the Ulandians or the forces of the Desert King to circumvent the reservoir on this side. The capacity of the reservoir is at present not fully utilized, the highest level after the last rainy season can be seen on the face of the rocks and the dam. My entry to Warzone 2: Battle for the Reservoir in the Kaliphlin civil war. If I get a say in the matter by this build, I'd like D3 to be the next war zone.
  7. Excellent tower design, but the rhino steals the show here Not planning to claim UoP credits for Military Science: Siege and Agriculture and Zoology: brick-built animals...?
  8. Previous challenges have been "as long as it's the 22nd anywhere in the world" So I don't think that anything posted before noon GMT on the 23rd will be disqualified.
  9. Great idea for a counter and nice looking "special effects"! Fortunately, tunneling any significant in the Westersands would be a doomed effort due to the ground conditions so this cannot be very far along the road. Most of the previous roadblocks would be enough to stop a marching army, and putting bigger holes in the road is just helping the effort of keeing Queenscross safe! And any casualties due to the explosion would only be expendable mercenaries The original MOC featured the Arkbri falcons, whose main colors are dark bluish gray and dark blue, so it is ok.
  10. Nice aqueduct, but it is the foliage which really stands out here
  11. Nice counter, instantly recognizeable
  12. Very nice! I think it is much better to have the whole war game on one board, for the fine details there is always the awesome original map without the wargame overlay. Another alternative however (if it is not to much work) is to make the point values smaller and maybe put them in an empty corner of their respective square?
  13. Thanks! Good job with keeping this up to date! As I wrote before, it would be great if this weekly map also had the point values for the high-value zones so all information is in one place when picking zones to attack.
  14. Nice work on those wading soldiers
  15. Very nice, but seemingly parts intensive, water technique Great idea to use that hairpiece for the middle orc, I have too many orcs without ears...
  16. Innovative lighting technique, UoP +1 for sure!
  17. That shrine is definitely telling something about the splendor of the old times when the Desert King ruled
  18. Excellent build and great dialogue
  19. Nice minotaur group I also like the general setting and the chairs in particular. UoP +1 for "Governing body"
  20. So many decisions! What happens if a MOC loses the "best" category barely and "second best" also barely (and gets no votes in "third best)? Will that mean that it falls outside of the ranking totally or that it gets second place?
  21. Brutal but realistic response to the offense
  22. Very interesting use of the arch pieces, and good build overall
  23. This is one of the most impressive MOCs I've ever seen, glad to have had the privilege to see it live in Skaerbaek! In itself, this rivalled Swebrick's whole medieval landscape collab (I think I've seen you been mentioned as a "one man LUG" and I'm inclined to agree)
  24. Welcome Rasheph to GoH! Interesting backstory, looking forward to seeing more of the Elioud and to see what truths are hidden in the mists of myth and legend
