I really like the classic feel of this! Scenes like this are what make me remember my childhood Lego imaginations and want to get my bricks out and start building.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Mike S replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
I'm operating as both of you stated. Just trying to tie my story in to the facts that others know so that my plot doesn't elaborately contradict others; stores, like if my plot had Ulandus ruling Kaliphlin, would make absolutely no sense. I'm going to go ahead and say that Lord Kral now is head of what is left of the Ulandis resistance, (i'll let Ska correct me if he had something else in mind) but that doesn't mean that Ulandis as a whole follows him. Perhaps a lot of the Ulandis resistance rallies after a war hero such as Ageven... As far as Masa, he still has to make his way back to Kaliphlin, but under a new name as there seems to be a price on his head now. -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Thanks! Looks like you have some great looking MOCs in your signature. You should link them to larger pics so people can get a better look at them... From what I read Ulandus was invaded by the Desert King's forces, so I'm thinking that Gorr may be the largest area that still resists the Desert King. Blackrock seems to have avoided any conflict and a statue of the banished First Centurion is being raised in defiance of the Desert King. However, the war did deplete the Order of Aslan's treasury so expansion plans have been postponed. Basically all that is there right now is the harbor master, a tower, the chapter house, and a windmill. All except for the harbor master are still under construction and the harbor master is soon to be renovated to add an inn to help manage the refugees that are coming ashore before they are sent on to Stone Town which being a larger city is better equipped to deal with them. Not sure how other Kaliphlin cities are dealing with the Desert King.... It would be nice to see how much power the Desert King gained from the war by showing cities under his control on the map. -
Nice landscape!

Did Gorr get attacked during the war and if so, what were the outcomes? -
The Desert King may have won the battle for Kaliphlin, but as long as he remains alive, the war will be far from over.....

Honestly, I don't know why it matters if we have 10 FFOL or 1 FFOL... There is nothing gender specific about GoH, so I don't get why it is a big deal. Just to let you know I haven't forgotten about Dronds Feeld build, just have had a hectic schedule for the last few months.

@kabel - Your comment about Americans being too lazy to learn a foreign language is quite lame. Unfortunately up until a few years ago, knowledge of a foreign language had little utilization here unlike English which is widely used worldwide. Unless you have use a language on a daily basis it is rather pointless to learn a language other than for bragging rights. Also I know quite a few people that are fluent in secondary languages, mostly Spanish and Mandarin, but not one that knows German.

I attempt to do a combination of both. Sturdy but with a bit more polish than official sets. Now all I have to do is perfect my photography.

Location: D04 - Terrial Minor Tags: Vehicle Mister S and Kara flew "The Ambassador" towards Terrial Minor, hoping to either board a Kawashita carrier or at the least land in a Kawashita safe zone. "The Ambassador" wasn't exactly meant for travel between planets although it could definitely do it, howbeit the travel time was quite a bit longer than the carriers that used the warping tech. I hope we get there soon... I gotta take a leak. What? Are you four years old? Just saying... I don't see any restrooms in this thing and its not like we can just stop and I get out and pee by the side of the road. (Gives Mister S a strange look.) Yeah, I know. Guess its not much different than when I was a tube racer. The only difference then was that I had the time to take a leak before I got into the vehicle. This time, I had no idea I was going to be stuck in a fighter craft for 9 hours. (Sits back and recollects his past as a tube racer.) OOC: Thought I would build something that I could interact more with my son so built these two little racers for us to send "racing" across our floors. Then I decided to build the tube track to make it seem a bit more futuristic and use as a build for AG...
