  1. Thanks! Thanks! This isn't really my normal build. These big builds may come to an end real soon. Thanks for the kind comments! Thanks! I'm envious too! I wish I had this collection when I was his age. Thanks! I still think Nuck beats me handily in the number of bricks and time put into his builds. Thanks guys!
  2. It is the entrance to an underground facility. If you look closely you can see the elevators at the center. The tower hosts the shield generators. Thanks guys!
  3. There is no requirement to build every week.... In fact Kawashita has had builders that have have skipped a week or two. I think things should remain the same unless the judges are having trouble finding the time to do the judging every week.... There probably will be times I will not build a weekly, but it is nice to have the weekly there to keep me from procrastinating working on a build until the following week.
  4. Nice batch of builds but the micro is my favorite!
  5. Nice build!
  6. Neat build! I like the different sections and also the technique with the different layered tiles!
  7. Nice presentation of your story! The build looks good and I like how you designed the door to the interrogation room!
  8. Cool vehicle! Looks like there is plenty of room to haul quite a bit of stuff!
  9. Great build! You have some realy awesome details in there like the holoscreen!
  10. It actually does look very alien! Nice job!
  11. Science lab on thrusters! That is a chunky spaceship! Nice build!
  12. Beautiful build! It really looks like a real happening place!
  13. Voice Log of Mister S: "Kara and I finally made it to the closest hangar bay on the Kameko. Due to the location of my garage in the Research and Development section of the ship, the closest hangar was also research and development. Fortunately there was a small two person fighter in the bay and Kara and I quickly hopped in it. I asked her if she knew how to fly it. She said that she didn't and that she thought that driving was my department. I started to explain the difference between driving and piloting but realized we didn't have the time. I experimented with the controls until the voice activated interface spoke up welcoming us to "The Ambassador". It only took a few sentences to have the fighter powered up and exiting the Kameko."
  14. I love the shape of the Kawashita fighter! Cool rock aliens also! Just one question though... Why is Pombe in his underwear?
  15. Location: C04 - Aeristus Tags: Vehicle Voice Log of Mister S: "I was correct to be suspicious of the ease with which we captured Tom and Anna. At Aeristus, I had re-boarded the Kameko as orders had come in to move to another planet but the Kameko never left Aeristus, at least not with Kara and me on board... I was in my spacious new garage on the Kameko, working on an upgrade for an old KG-T300, when the sick Mantis agent we had captured along with Tom and Anna evidently broke out of quarantine. Seems that the Kameko's security systems were equipped to counter every possible threat except this one. Makes me wonder if when Mantis had planned this attack, they had first hand knowledge of all the Kameko's security systems and protocols. I immediately became suspicious that Wilhelm had leaked Mantis the intel but then realized that he had never had access to that level of clearance. Had to be someone high up in the ranks... and now that I think about it, it seems illogical. Anyway, I was in my garage when the alarms went off. Of course, as I knew how technologically advance the Kameko was, I dismissed them as simply a drill. That is until Kara came charging yelling at me to get in the T300 I must have froze in puzzlement as she ran behind me and pushed me to one of the T300's hatches. No sooner had I climbed in, the door through which Kara had just entered was ripped apart and a huge glowing, green, monster jammed itself through the opening. I say monster, because I have no idea what else to call it. Lucky for us, it got stuck in the doorway and Kara took several shots at it. This however seemed to do little more than infuriate it to the point that it grabbed a nearby shuttle trike that we used to get around the ship and flung it at us trailer and all. By this point I had helped Kara into the T300 and had its systems online, so I rotated the turret at the monster and opened fire. It exploded into a million globs of green goo. I was about to turn to Kara, a triumphant grin on my face when the incoming red dots on the targeting monitor caught my eye. Kara screamed into my ear telling me to drive to the nearest hangar bay.” More pics in spoiler:
  16. You really are the master of fantastically shaped space vehicles!
  17. Fantastic builds! The space truck is really nice but I really, really like the design of the Octan beacon!
  18. I really like how you built the cave! Awesome build!
  19. Neat little scene!
  20. Great reproduction of the cockpit from NuckElBerg's build! Also great landscaping and story!
  21. Haha I can just picture a fleet of these! Nice build!
  22. Awesome build! A lot of great details like the big doors, spot lights, gun turret, and the angles wall top!
  23. Thanks! I have a build halfway finished. Need to get inspired to finish the landscape.
  24. Thank you both for your advice! I think I will just hone my MOCing skills for now. It will be easier to get something like that going if I have a larger collection of 'wow" quality builds.
  25. It seems like I have a revolving door problem. It seems the place to meet people that are in the know about LUGs in my area is at Brickworld Chicago. I won't be attending Brickworld Chicago anytime soon, so I won't be meeting the people I need to in order to join a LUG. As far as starting a LUG, I think the odds are against me as I don't know one person that is interested in Lego other than those I know online.
