  1. They are paper sails... only material I had on hand. If I ever get more time, I would like to make some sails using the same material that Lego uses.
  2. That second pic is awesome! Love how you built the house! Curious about the lack of hair on the figs though???
  3. The back is actually curved more than the front...
  4. I'll take a pic of how the hull is constructed next time I take more pics. I made a minor change that I think is the only improvement that I can make with this kind of a hull build with a flat deck. I also want to take a pic of this with my next ship to show size comparison. And... I might even build another ship based on this hull but a bit larger. This one was going to be bigger but I thought I didn't have enough pieces but I think I found another bin of slopes so I might be in luck. :pir-laugh:
  5. Great build! Nice touch including Gideon and Erudhalion!
  6. Nice ship!
  7. Yeah proper light is a real problem for me right now. I'll try switching it around and then take better pics...
  8. I'll echo Kayne... Nice builds and also thanks for heading up this collab!
  9. Previously: Part 2 Grinding Down After "collecting the tax" from the family living in the "chicken coop, Malek headed back to regional headquarters. About halfway home, the spokes on all four wheels of his carriage collapsed. Malek- "What on earth happened?" Coachman- "It looks like the carriage wheels were sabotaged." Malek- "Can you fix it?" Coachman- "I'm afraid not. The carriage isn't going anywhere. Would you like me to go get help?" Malek- "No, you stay with the carriage and I will go get help. There is no way that I'm going to be sitting here all day." After walking a few miles, Malek heard a carriage approaching from behind. Carriage driver- "Good sir! Do you need a lift?" Malek- "I do indeed! I'm not sure how much farther these creaky joints of mine would have taken me," Malek climbed into the carriage. Some distance off, a couple of Desert King spies were watching through a spy glass. Desert King Spy 1: "We now have proof. Malek is consorting with the resistance." Desert King Spy 2: "Let us go inform our captain." Extra pic of the main build:
  10. Thanks! Thanks! CSC being a privately held company would gladly work with MAESTRO. Thanks! Thanks! Yes, the log seemed the easiest way to convey the story. Steal away as I'm not the originator of this idea... Ah yes, I meant to make mention of that in the log but forgot. Anyway, someone needs to build a furniture factory so that I can buy some furniture....
  11. Thanks! Thanks and yes I did license it as a Class 2F. Yes the horizontal lines do bother me a bit but mostly on the hull. The hull is mostly snotted 3x4 and 3x3 slopes. When this ship gets destroyed, I will improve its design for the replacement ship... And I will be posting a sheet of all my recurring characters so you will get a better look at this captain then...
  12. Great ship! I really like the simple shaping of this! I approve.
  13. Nice little ship! Interesting use of the brick pieces... and I like the captain!
  14. Nice build! Coyle Shipping Company might need to buy some sails from here....
  15. First pic looks nice! I also like the raised baseplate usage!
  16. Nice build! Looks a little bit warm for Tiberia though....
  17. Nicely done!
  18. Super cool ships!
  19. The log of Captain Aiden Coyle. January 17: I purchased the "Black Marlin" in Arlinsport. I will be sailing her to Belson to see how she sails. I retained the services of her former captain who is quite an interesting fellow and has a million tales to tell. This should not be a dull journey. END OF ENTRY More photos: And the Black Marlin next to the Sulky Harlequin

  21. The log of Captain Aiden Coyle. January 17: I am now in Arlinsport, Tiberia. I do not like it here. It is perpetually cold and damp. However as I need a base of operations for my shipping company, this will have to do for now. The Royal Society of Navigation and Discovery has been generous in its financial backing. It seems that they are quite interested in my ship the Sulky Harlequin which is now being outfitted for a voyage into the unknown. I have also been in contact with two Corrington gentlemen, Don Isaac Montoya and Sir Thomas Smaugton, both splendid chaps, and once the Sulky Harlequin is finished being outfitted, it looks like we will be going into business together. So I have purchased a small building here in Arlinsport to house my business and hired Councellor James Mulliner to handle the paperwork and legal matters. I am now returning to Belson to meet up with my wife and son. END OF ENTRY
  22. Coming soon to your local venue for performing arts: To the Ax with the Tax, a tale of one of the Desert King's more noble minions-
  23. Well the Kaliphlin War is officially over but there is a cold war still brewing... and in Nocturnus there always is war until either the Black Spire or resistance is defeated. Also Mitgardia seems to be at war as well... with the Algus? Seems that only Avalonia is at peace.
