1. I do not know if there is some particular tractor that inspired you so I can not make objective comment. I've made many tractors in the past but mostly classic; only articulated was Case IH quadtrac... 2. IMHO it is better to have one wheel and weight because baloon tires are to wide anyway. If you like you can look unde link to see how to make Powerpuller tire better proportioned http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535390 3. About powersource - question is where it would be placed - if it is in the middle then go for battery box because it is much cheaper, if you plan to put powersource on one side of the tractor then acumulator is better but more expensive...

...and here it is rally car with CLAAS rims...good start -
Like @Jeroen Ottens said - black cat on steroids. Huge model with many details. Perhaps because of so many e-motors you should put digital signature like "gentleman start your engines"

I was hoping that this time Word would not crash when exporting to pdf Just one suggestion; if you have 42030 you can make C model of that set with CLAAS tires to fit Tigercat colors

Idea is good, but I'll wait for pictures to got picture which way you will make it real Good luck -
You can make it narrow if you make construction that holds gears from bottom and above and to have free sides...so gears are very close to seats
