soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Welcome to the North! A good milk supply would well appreciated @Garmadon: Come now, surely you haven't forgotten all these Mitgardian markets And there are a lot more than just those! -
Very clever micro shield generator and laser turret The picture showing the generator in his sights is great, and how you did the explosion effect
-
The cement mixer tanks look really nice the way you incorporated them into the wall with piping and girders around them The whole hangar bay in general looks quite functional. Well detailed Alpha Fighter too, even the bottom looks great

Those paint-ballers did a pretty good job painting that last one Great walker drones, and it's easy to see the Star Wars influence

Brilliant color use and architecture The windows, and roof look superb, and the chimney completes the model nicely -
Sweet mechanized boat/walker combo! And the use of the nexo knights villian head as a cannon ball is hilarious and effective

soccerkid6 replied to Funky Koval's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very dangerous looking characters that fit the Nexo Knight aesthetic perfectly Clever parts and use and design throughout -
Good use of both the hinge brick, and 1x1 round with 1x2s round tower techniques And that's an excellent doorway

Thanks John Thanks Captain B! Thank you, there will be a picture showing all 4 together, coming later

This is the second of 4 micros I built as prizes for the Guild Creation category of the Summer Joust. This particular model was focused on a city of Rauor. You can see the first build, here. Rauor is just a fictional land I made up, and tried to develop the culture and setting of with these 4 micro builds, the rest of which will be posted soon. Comments always appreciated

[Maze] Cat A - Disneyland: The Happiest Maze On Earth!
soccerkid6 replied to Oky's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great use of those funky 2x2 brick modified parts for the mountain top and orange building (pardon my lack of Disneyland knowledge ) The castle is my favorite section -
Very fun idea, and I'm impressed with how many different vendor stands and rides you were able to recreate so recognizably Clever parts use for the ferris wheel especially
-
Very clever tree design Gotta love the aggressive stance of that 3-wheeler too

Thanks StarHawk, I was quite pleased how this turned, especially as I haven't done very many boats Thank you! Yeah, it does that in real life too

Location: B06, Sorn Tags: Water Vehicle, Vehicle, Job: Driver Start Log: Stationed on Sorn to patrol the waters, I got to use a MANTIS ski-boat which is quite a fun ride! Plenty of speed and maneuverability, plus some serious firepower. I was messing around with the black ski parts and liked how they looked in a diamond shape, so decided to use them as skis for the boat. The windshield opens to allow access to the cab, and the propeller spins. The water design is made using only 2×2 round plates. Comments and suggestions welcome

Since photography plays such a large part in the online LEGO community, I think a sub-forum devoted to it is a good idea

Thanks John, I thought the build needed something on that left side, so decided to add the little cottage
-
I like how you used cheese graters as staircases The rocket shape makes for a very fun looking building
-
Good color scheme using white, red, and dark bley for the building Fun little delivery van too
-
Superb use of the large power miners wheel The idea of an undercover military base disguised as a mansion is pretty neat too.The tan stripes add some nice color contrast
