  1. Location: B-06 Sorn Tags: Kawashita, Submarine, B06, Sorn The Lifeblood of the Sea == Start transmission == Commander Turtle: Aera Lure, what is your status? Aera Lure: I'm about ready to depart for Traig IV. My team is already en route. Commander Turtle: There is a new development. I would like to ask you to instead proceed to Sorn. I have just rescued Dr. Fabian Killjoy. His discovery there has our scientists excited. Please go talk to his colleague, Dr. Traize Anastasia. He will be directing the mission. Aera Lure: I'm on my way! == End transmission == Dr. Anastasia's Lab Aera Lure: Where o' where is the good doctor? I guess I'm early. Aera Lure: *sees comm panel Aera Lure: While I'm waiting, I suppose I could use this to contact my friend Blackhawk who finally finished his training on Orinshi and is performing a recon mission on Guinevere. Aera Lure: Scrambled. I'm going to have to readjust these settings. == Start transmission == Aera Lure: Blackhawk, are you there? * squawk **** screee **** pffzzzz Blackhawk: Yeah I'm here - unless this thing falls out of the sky! Aera Lure: Oh, you're having trouble? Sorry to hear that. Blackhawk: Damn straight I'm having trouble! The *bleeping* *bleep* doesn't *bleep* and if the *bleeping* thrusters *bleep* again I'm going to *bleep*! I swear it's almost as if someone was playing a practical joke on me. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Aera Lure: No, I don't. Who would do such a thing? Aera Lure: Hohohoho.. hah.. MUAH ahahaha!! Blackhawk: What was that? I didn't quite get that. Aera Lure: Oh, nothing. *ahem* Sorry, you're breaking up. Good luck on your mission! == End transmission == Dr. Anastasia: Sorry to have kept you waiting Ms. Lure. I'm Dr. Anastasia. Aera Lure: Nice to meet you doctor. No problem at all. I was just advising a colleague. Call me Aera. Dr. Anastasia: I'm sure you have heard that our esteemed colleague Dr. Fabian Killjoy was rescued on Sorn. He brings back with him valuable information about an undersea lifeform that metabolizes Awesomnium. We'd like to gather some more information about this creature and, if possible, return here with a specimen. I understand you are a pilot. Would you be up for this task? Aera Lure: Of course! Dr. Anastasia: I'll need you to bring a team of four of my research assistants to the location we've selected. I have entered the coordinates into your sub and I will observe the operation from here in the lab. I have connected this comm panel to the camera arm on your sub. Once we have identified the lifeform, my researchers will take it from there. I spent the afternoon scrambling the comm pad's network protocol to be sure Octan or Mantis will not intercept the transmissions. so no need to worry about that. Aera Lure: !!! Dr. Anastasia: Something wrong? Aera Lure: No, no. Not at all! I just realized that I have some preparations to do on the sub prior to the start of the mission. I had best be off and let you finish your preparation as well. Never hurts to doublecheck... Dr. Anastasia: She sure left in a hurry. I wonder what that was all about... Dr. Anastasia: !!! == Mission underway == == Start transmission == Dr. Anastasia: You should be coming up to the coral reef shortly. Aera Lure: Yes doctor. I can see it ahead. Slowing speed and engaging the floodlights. Deploying the arm. Aera Lure: I'm starting the video feed now. Are you getting this Doctor? Dr. Anastasia: Yes I am. The connection is good. Look for a golden cone-shaped creature. It's a kind of polyp that... Dr. Anastasia: Oh! That's it! The Decahydromapthylrematoratron! I am sending the information to my team. Please proceed with the extraction. Aera Lure: Roger that. == End transmission == Aera Lure: No action down here, but it sure is peaceful. Wonder how Blackhawk is faring? Just fine I'm sure. He's one pilot I could trust with anything - even a plane that barely flies.
  2. "Are you sure this was the right vehicle for the job?" "Are you kidding me? This is a '69 Hellby Cobra! It's got more horsepower than there are horses!" "Yes, but we are searching for the missing scientist, Dr. Fabian Killjoy. We don't want to be fast, we want to be thorough." *vroom* "Who knew rescue missions were so much fun!" "By the way, I hope you realise that the Cobra has only one seat!" ~~ "Oh my goodness, it's a long way down! How did this even happen? I mean, I understand why the reactor exploded, but how did I land in such an absurdly precipitous point while completely unscathed. Wait, what's that sound?" "The cavalry has arrived! Jump on!" "DO YOU THINK YOU COULD SLOW DOWN?!" "NO!" ~~~ Enjoyed this one. I used to build a lot of cars so this was trying to make a flying vehicle using the same styling cues. My first foray into some forced perspective. Stuck it on a ball joint so I could have fun with the shots Flickr
  3. - Agent G here, Sorn proves to be a relatively un-hostile planet, with the few animal encounters being small reptiles. The real face of Sorn lies beneath, in its icy depths. Fish frolic peacefully here, flitting in and out of the abundant sea-bushes, while white crab like creatures scuttle around in the sifting sands of the ocean beds. My high-tech equipment seems so out of place, cold and lifeless, unlike the bursting ecosystem of Sorn that survives so well without the nutritoxin and Smogg That gets pumped into the air and the water on the more "civilized planets". While we think only of how we may further our reach in the endless reaches of space, we never stop once to think of the life that lies beneath us, choking on our progress... - Comments and Criticism most accepted!
  4. Location: Sorn (B06) Tags: Kawashita, Airplane, Spaceship, Sorn, B06 Flying Dragon Aera’s Diary Junali 29, 3815 Sorn Second week on Sorn. Endless hours of sun dancing in the waves below. Days pass. Everything runs together. All I can see is blue and the constant flashes of light. I close my eyes and lie back in my bunk. I am still soaring over the water. Lips parched from the salt air I squeeze my bottle dry and throw it to the floor. We are stationed on some rock that’s not much different from the others I have flown over. There’s nothing here, but there is beauty in austerity. The sky meets the water someplace on an infinite horizon. Two lovers, arms outstretched, always just out of reach. The emptiness of this place fills your soul. I’ve felt a peace and tranquility here that I have rarely known. Between missions I lose myself in reports. My hands shake from the stims. Long hours spent on classified work and longer hours in the air searching for the enemy. I try to get some sleep. Feels like the first I have had in days. ::: Start transmission ::: Blackhawk: Aera? Aera do you copy? Aera: Blackhawk... Glad to have you here with us. You've been a great help! Blackhawk: It’s about time my luck has turned for the better. Ow! Aera: ??? Blackhawk: I hit my foot on the panel. Broke it when the torpedo fell on it during mission prep. Aera: ... Blackhawk: I’ve encountered a Mantis patrol and I’ve engaged them. I have things under control here, but I spotted their main convoy. I’m sending you the coordinates. Aera: Alright! I’ve got just the thing! Save some for me! Blackhawk: I don’t think that’s going to be a problem… ::: End transmission ::: My heart races as I run through the hall. This is what I'm here for. So many days of searching have come to an end. It's time to see what we are up against. I’ve given my team the Reppū fighters. We’ve brought the big guns to Sorn - the Hiryū! A heavy assault bomber, this thing means business and I aim to make good use of it! Kawashita KB-66 Hiryū (飛龍, "Flying Dragon”) Seen on the front lines of most Kawashita assault operations, the Flying Dragon is an anti-cruiser bomber that sees double duty as an air-to-ground platform planet side. Housing no less than 6 Kawashita KE-280 engines, the Flying Dragon earns it's title as one of the most powerful sub-cruiser class ships in Kawashita's service. Featuring 8 hardpoints, a large payload area, 2 double-barreled blasters, 2 disruptors, 2 nose-mounted cannons and 4 rear-facing gatlings there is little it cannot handle. Variable position wings give the Flying Dragon a mode each for bombing and strafing priority and it's heavy armor ensure it's survivability. Although improved in strafing mode, the turning radius is quite wide, giving rise to the running joke among Kawashita pilots: "Just point it in one direction and shoot. Nothing will remain in your way and won't need to turn!" The long-rumored KB-66C finally nears production and claims to improve maneuvarbility substantially, adding additional verniers on the wings as well as improving the engine timing software. Additionally, the KB-66C adds a second rear facing cockpit for a weapons master position. These improvements and others expect the Flying Dragon to continue it's place on the front lines of Kawashita service.
  5. ---------- Log 4 - Miracle of Life On the eve of his crucial and secret mission, Marcus receives an unexpected transmission from one of many probes he launched in the first days of colonization. The sentinel’s discovery might very well be the key to robotics’ next step… ---------- Night had fallen on Guinevere as I left Garden Gold with a new objective. But to lead our mission, me and special agent Nova had to get back to the front line. Well, far over the front line to be precise. Hundreds and hundreds of kilometer through the endless desert, our stealth hovercraft slithered between volcanoes and MANTIS patrollers, closing on a rally point our spies had secured. Nights are long on Guinevere. Don't know if it's due to the scorching heat or the fact I can never close my eyes. Must be the latter, since Nova fell asleep in a matter of minutes, lying in the craft's corridor with his usual pose. Heck, I've been with him less than a day and I already know his usual pose, hands over knees, black katana hanging near, head tilted to the front, not so much as to give the impression he's awake. Like he could strike at any time. Why can't I sleep? Is it danger I fear? New surroundings? Or is it only my friggin legs that hurt as always? Anyway, I don't waste my time doing nothin' while standing around like an idiot. I guess some would find me pretty stupid anyway, as I read instead. Yup, read. Manuals, logs and other guys reports that I can find on the virtual board... INCOMING REPORT, INCOMING REPORT. ATTENTION. "What the heck!", I say surprised as I bump my head on a crate. The report sound beeps continuously from my helmet. The flickering red light blinds me in the darkness. What the...? Who would send a report at that time? I stretch my arm to reach the helmet, I put it on and I listen... On Sorn... Encrypted transmission from ISEE-3, location on Sorn. I repeat, encrypted transmission from... Alright, alright, this is N.K Marcus on Guinevere, I hear you. ISEE-3, is that really you?.. Can't be! Identify yourself and your request. Sir Marcus, it's a pleasure to hear from you. It is I, ISEE-3 Sentinel Unit 5 speaking. I am currently probing on Sorn as you have requested. I have come across a very, very interesting specimen. I think it will peak your interest as much as mine. I have run and rerun the scanners, sending you the data as we speak. (...) ISEE-3. He's part of a couple of drones I've programmed when I was still on Orinshi, waiting for my cybernetic legs, I was running strategic scans for Leadership council and that's when I met him. Well... "met" is a big word. You can't really meet a program, can ya? Anyway, he was coordinating the medical bay all by himself, which was pretty impressive. I thought he had potential for exploration, so I copied his program and re-wrote its code, which was indeed perfectly fit for data retranscription. Anyway, anyone would be bored if I got into more details, but I asked the 1st Colonial Fleet if they could take a bunch of ISEE-3's probes and connect its data to the main center, so that I could follow their every move. I lost every single signal after day 1. Never thought I would hear of him again... Are you sure this data is correct ISEE-3? Seems pretty impossible to me, honestly. What you're basically saying is that you're looking at growing metal. Not very believable if ya ask me. It is correct, sir. Unbelievable, indeed, but I see it with my own 200 eyes. Turn in Manual Mode, ISEE-3. I'm lucky we're on adjacent planets, maybe I can take control without too much interference. As you wish, sir. And in a second, I could see through the probe's eyes, control his movements. So I got closer to that whatever "living metal", and I saw... A green plant, glowing. But it wasn't a normal plant. It was hypnotizing, as hard as rock and as shiny as silver. I scanned it. Once. Twice... I couldn't believe it. It was checking the properties of a living organism, while showing the shape of metal... Manual mode off, back to automatic ISEE-3. What we've got here is like a miracle. Send an emergency signal to the closest crew, ASAP. Tell em' the reports. Take samples for the labs. They're gonna enjoy it like it's paradise. Good job, ISEE. Protect the plant at all cost. Don't let it fall in the bad hands... See ya ISEE, soon enough I guess. Good luck. ENDING TRANSMISSION. If there was no mistake, we had found our first biomechanical species in the history of Terra. Heck, I couldn't believe it. Everything it could represent... A new horizon could open. Who knows? I guess I had to give it to our scientists and see... Back to the mission. No way I would sleep now. For Glory and Honor ---------- -- DATABASE -- Another view of the ISEE-3 Sentinel #5 - Flight mode: Those probes are versatile, solid and very intelligent, as per Kawashita requirements. What's also great about ISEE-3 sentinels is that they know how to... "clean up the trash"... [WARNING - Security clearance - May not be suitable for the faints of heart] Yup, last-minute-fast-&-bad-lightened build. That's my type!
  6. Location: Sorn Tags: Kawashita, Sorn, Airplane, Military Now THIS is what I’m talking about!! I finally got something worth flying! It even has weapons! I guess the donut I slipped on narbilu’s desk worked. Or maybe everyone got tired of my whining. Either way, who cares?! This Peregrine is a sweet ride! It’s usually meant for air-to-ground work, but as I’m on Sorn, it’s been armed for anti-sub action. That torpedo will leave a heck of a mark on something! Can’t wait to pop it off… She’s got speed, as well as VTOL and hovering abilities. The pivoting wings and wing mounted thrusters give it added maneuverability, letting it turn like a helicopter and dodge ground fire. Gotta get this baby prepped. I got a mission to scout for any M.A.N.T.I.S. forces on Sorn. If I find any, I get to hit them hard or call in Aera and her bomber if they’re too much to handle (Man, she ALWAYS gets the cool stuff!). Let’s go stomp some Bugs!! Loading the “fish”. Man, that puppy’s big! What’s with these techs? That’s live ordinance! And it kinda hurts! Oh, well. Cast or no cast, if I can still kick the rudder pedals, I can still fly! Time for some Bug hunting! This second build was interesting. Had an idea for a plane with pivoting wings, and I built the rest of the ship around that (and the cockpit…). I figured that it was meant to be a support craft, so it didn’t have to look pretty, but I think it has a mean look to it, so I’m pleased! I do have to watch for the situations I get into. Too many more and I’ll be known as “Bad Luck” Blackhawk…
  7. Raven return from Guinevere and get a call from Narbilu. I have an infiltration mission for you. What do you know of the Dust Demons? It's the pirates that's been raiding our mines and transports since we got to Andromeda. Interrogation with the prisoner that Makoto brought in earlier suggest they arrived with the same colony ships used by the companies. They are primarily targeting Kawashita and have followed our expansion with several temporary bases. Look like you are as good as your reputation, reading every rapport are you?. Only the important ones, sir. What's the mission? As you have read we know how the Demons come in. It's not likely to be via our colony ships but security have been increased. They then rapport to the nearest base and get there gear and mission. We have falsified an ID of a new recruit based on the prisoners ID and need someone to pose as a Dust Demon and get information. Koro don't have the looks to pull it of and was sent for another mission. You are our best resource for this kind of job. I'm on it, sir. I'll speak to the prisoner about background details and what to expect as a rookie. When do I start? As soon as possible, they are getting more of a problem every day. When you're ready, go to the base at Lesser Direstan. It's the only one we know of that's not blown up. Understod. And remember, you will have no backup and no communication so you can only contact us if you hijack there communication or get back here. Just like every other infiltration mission I've ever done. Raven get ready and goes to Lesser Direstan where she's ordered to immediately travel to Sorn. Without showing any surprise Raven thinks “Sorn!? All official channels have said we would stay out of there as of the treaty with Mantis. How can the Demons know we are going to Sorn?” Ok, newbies. Get in the Wasp. Training will begin when we get to Sorn. Why is it called a wasp, because it have stripes? No, it's because of the “sting” it gout in the back. What? I don't see a gun or anything. It's a drop ship. The “sting” is the soldiers coming out of it. With some work even you maggots could get good enough to jump out of it. For now, get in and shut up! Hi, I'm Trevor Sarah. Raven and Trevor shake hand. Little more is said on the trip to Sorn. Arrival at Sorn by EpsilonEta, on Flickr This time the stand in planet was made by Random-Acts-Stock on deviantart. The stars are the same by PSD Graphics. So you are the wimps that think they can be Dust Demons. Lets see if I can get you in shape before Kawashita get there hands on every piece of awesomnium on this planet.
  8. Location: Sorn – B06 Tags: Kawashita, Science, Building Lab Journal – 28 Junali 3815 Ore research continues. It shows some strange properties. It’s good that we decided to do the research at our secret compound.
  9. Excerpt from the lab book of Big Sal: Date: 28 Junali 3815. Experiment Code: P0B06. Lead Scientist: Big Sal. Location: Kawashita territory, Sorn. Aim: Test effectiveness of persuasion technology. Excerpt ends. I still don't really get how it works. Ugh, it's not difficult Roberts. You know how you can persuade people to do almost anything for money? Yes... And you know how money is based on gold? I suppose... Well then, the mechanics of the Persuadomatic (patent pending) should be obvious! It vapourises gold and expels it as a mist of nanoparticles into the air. Anyone breathing it in will become easily suggestible. Yeah, I'm not sure that makes any... FIRE IT UP! 25% POWER! Excerpt from the lab book of Big Sal: Method: Using gold from Guinevere, the Persuadomatic will disperse a mist of nanoparticles into the air. Prediction: Kawashita scientists exposed to the Persuadomatic will be easily convinced to give up valuable intelligence. Excerpt ends. Stable at 25% power. Those pills we took will protect us right? Sure! Ok, I'm going in! I still think you should have changed out of your M.A.N.T.I.S. colours... Greetings fellow scientists! Uh, who are you? I'm Big Sal! The famous M.A.N.T.I...shita scientist! Did you just say 'MANTIShita'? Erm...no! I said 'mighty Kawashita' of course! Roberts, increase the power! What was that? I said, uh... 'man, I could do with a shower'! Good save... Power at 50%. Anyway, what are you guys up to here? Fill me in on your latest findings. Hmmm, I don't know about that. I'm still not exactly sure who you are? Yeah, if you're Kawashita, what's today's password? Uhhhh... more power damn it! Increasing power to 75% Hey! Dr Wu asked you a question! Stop mumbling! Ok, you got me. I'm not from Kawashita after all... I'm from the Nobel Prize committee! We've been watching Dr Wu and we're very impressed! OHMYGOD! WOOO! Oh, wow, I'm flattered! Yes, it's true! I'm here to conduct our final investigation, so if you could just give me all the details of your work... THIS IS AMAZING! Oh, yes, of course! So, this is our new awesomnium drill and we recently discovered the astounding fact that... What's going on down there? Who's that M.A.N.T.I.S. guy?? NO, HE'S FROM THE NOBEL PRIZE! DR WU'S GOING TO WIN! I ALWAYS BELIEVED IN YOU DOC! Why's he holding a trophy? Isn't the Nobel Prize a medal? ... ... ... Lemme guess? 100% power? Yup! But they've got rebreathers... we may just have to rely on my natural charm and quick wits! 60 seconds later: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! THE NOBEL COMMITTEE WON'T LOOK KINDLY ON THIS! START THE ENGINES ROBERTS! Excerpt from the lab book of Big Sal: Results: Persuadomatic showed promise but was ineffective against Kawashita troops with rebreathers. Conclusions: Why were they wearing rebreathers anyway? Sorn's atmosphere is perfectly breathable. We may have another security breach. Excerpt ends. My first go at SNOT rocks. Not entirely happy with them, but practice makes perfect I guess. Comments and criticism welcome!
  10. Mission 04 Sorn It was a hectic week in the corporation. Orders changed around and I was limited in time and ability to make a proper plan for landing on Sorn. As I entered the atmosphere I had forgotten to adjust for the planet. In my haste, I still had a previous planets layout in the navigation computer and I wasn't prepared for the difference in gravity, altitude and the lack of actual land. A water planet. Me and water usually have issues. ****Mayday....Mayday.....This is flight BR549 in Sorn airspace, I lost thrusters and have had to ditch.******Mayday.....Mayday****** I crashed hard, not sure how I'll explain this to the bosses. The ship will be a total loss, parts of it are still visible, I hope they stay afloat because I am not sure if the rescue beacon is transmitting. ****I repeat....This is flight BR549 on Sorn, Col. Brik, I have crashed in area 6-4-4-3 and am in need of rescue***** Oh great....what the heck is that floating at me? Some kind of big eyed red shark thing, just what I need. Bad enough I destroyed my ship but now I need to deal with this? Well, if I can take it out, I'll have food. If it is edible. All I know is I better see a Red and Grey ship come soon. I'm also going to hate filling out the TPS reports and crash assessment forms.
  11. Mission Log: Entry 7 ~ Not a very long journey, but definitely a harrowing one! Although I never once saw them, M.A.N.T.I.S. apparently put up quite a fight on Guinevere - in fact, we were forced into an uneasy stalemate of sorts. Our CEO decided to split our forces. Some of us stayed on Guinevere to continue mining the valuable gold veins on its surface; some of us were sent across the galaxy to a faraway cluster of asteroids, but I was tasked with scouting out Guinevere's neighbour, the planet Sorn. Easier said than done. I was given a light shuttle (a Kawashita Y-Class Mk.II), small and agile enough to outmanoeuvre any hostile craft, but unequipped with any weapons or turrets - speed and agility were its assets. Luckily, I didn't encounter any M.A.N.T.I.S. craft as I left Guinevere. As I approached Sorn, I began to feel slightly worried. I had never landed a shuttle in my life (my android assistant had piloted it before). I made out the rectangular shape of a tarmac landing platform put there by Aera Lure upon her previous mission to Sorn, and I headed straight there. It was then that the left brake began to malfunction.... One nerve-racking hour later, and I had landed. Safely, except for the fact that one of the brakes was defunct. I had had to circle frantically around the area to check my descent, having lost control of the brakes. Honestly, I couldn't believe that I was still alive. But I was. The planet was mainly water, but I had landed on a sandy area, with trees and a small rivulet of a stream. Peaceful, and serene - my kind of place. [ Sans sigfig, ship and border ] [ The ship on its own ] [ And yes, it can fit a minifig inside. ]
  12. Location: B06, Sorn Tags: Water Vehicle, Vehicle, Job: Driver Start Log: Stationed on Sorn to patrol the waters, I got to use a MANTIS ski-boat which is quite a fun ride! Plenty of speed and maneuverability, plus some serious firepower. I was messing around with the black ski parts and liked how they looked in a diamond shape, so decided to use them as skis for the boat. The windshield opens to allow access to the cab, and the propeller spins. The water design is made using only 2×2 round plates. Comments and suggestions welcome
  13. Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Spying, Military Building, Land vehicle Hawk had been sent to Sorn, away from the main MANTIS conflict with Octan, to evaluate Kawashita's presence there and to gather as much information on their activities in the area. He was sent to an unremarkable rocky island. - - The Island was designated outpost 135B06 and was left over from much earlier conflicts between the MANTIS and Kawashita corporations on Sorn. MANTIS had built many hidden bunkers around the surface of Sorn, and 135B06 would serve as a base of operations for Hawk in his missions to come. - Base AI: Welcome Agent Hawk. Hawk: Just call me Hawk computer. What is the status of this installation? Base AI: All systems operational. - Hawk: Good. Computer, arm the defensive weapons. I don't think we will come under attack from anyone from Kawashita, but it sure wouldn't be good if one of those Sharktipus's tried to find its way in. Base AI: Order received. Weapons are now online. - - Hawk: Computer, monitor any unencrypted messages on all Kawashita channels. Lets find something worth looking into. Base AI: Yes sir. This is a message I recorded earlier. I hope you find it useful. start transmission...... - They keep sending us ships to repair what is going on out there? Is MANTIS attacking our fleet? - No its something else, an unknown fleet at Crentium. They are giving our fleet a tough time. None of our other star ports have the resources to repair the new ship design so we have to send them here. end transmission...... Hawk: Thanks computer. That is worth looking into. Tell me where this star port is located. More pictures under the spoiler tag Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated.
  14. Mission "Viper" Tags: Spaceship, B-06, Sorn, Kawashita Col-Brik is out flying his "Viper" when the call from HQ comes in. "Sir, you are to report immediately to headquarters and then to Agent Raven's executive office." "Oh frack, what did I do?" "Nothing, Sir. My report indicates you were just named "Third Branch Executive" of the corporation." "Shiny, I'll be there as quick as I can."
  15. Mission: Construction Tags: Kawashita, Sorn I have arrived at the ship yard and have started my inspection process of the new docking system for my yet to be seen command ship. A pleasant Reshirt #2 and his guard Redshirt #10 are giving me the tour. Sir, as you can see we need to dock ready before we can get your ship to you. We expect a few more weeks of repair so if you would sir, you can start adding crew members to your roster. Your ship is still in another dry dock being completed, we are running short of red bricks, and grey, and black. Really, you need to put in some more orders for us. This dock will be your rearm and resupply going forward. There are three of your fighters here to escort you and we also expect two Vipers to be attached to your command ship OH NO, DANG IT 10! Sir, I am sorry about #10, but we have looked at the budget and realize that the new cloning vats are cheaper than guardrails. I know it sounds odd but we also got a deal on mops and shovels to pick up the reds when they go down. I will make sure your ship has a cloning vat for you. ///////// The only part being judged is the structure my sigfig is on and of course the story. The rest are builds I have shown before or actual Lego sets in the background.

  19. Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Vehicle, Land Vehicle, Spaceship, Exploration Last time, in Ender's story: Bike Beats Robots Sunday Afternoon Drive Suess Island Ender moved on to the next island called Tribble Island. Ender didn't know why it was called that, but he continued to find the same red bush everywhere. His sister Valentine had tasked him with bringing a sample back to the ship. Meanwhile, the person Ender had been searching for, Mr. Graver, was busy with his own quest. After his alliance with the Emboians went sour, he turned to piracy and took over the Octan ship he had been stationed on.

  22. Mission: Entrapment Tags: Kawashita, Exploration, Sorn Under direct orders from Raven I have arranged a meetup with Spacer Steve on Sorn. I used a Blacktron code and ID to entice him to a meeting in the swamps under the guise of selling Kawashita secrets. Little did he know I had other plans. After a lengthy "conversation" with a pair of Kawashita swords near his neck Spacer Steve convinced me that he has nothing to do with Ravens death. The ruse is still working about her being still dead. He still refers to her in past tense and has explained in detail how the explosion occurred and how he was not the fig spotted on security cameras. I should kill him now, but my training is kicking in, and I know in my heart he is not the guilty one. He could have rambled on and explained who it was and he was never there but he has explained he knows but cannot say at this time because it could hurt his corporations standing. I believe he wants help, but not officially. I will have to trust he is telling the truth, and believe he will lead me to those responsible.

Icarus returning by North White, on Flickr "Captain, what's our orders?" Says Bo'sun Jacobs. SigFig by North White, on Flickr "Continue on course. What the Corp needs now is our best efforts to retake our territory from those Mantis scum..." FIN Let me know if you have any suggestions for photography. or otherwise. Fun fact, 90% of this ship was made out of http://lego.wikia.co...r-Class_Cruiser . I retrofitted her for Andromeda's gates, hope that's okay. Thanks for reading! More pictures

  25. Location:Tyrant hangar bay. B06 Sorn Tags: Military Building, Land Vehicle - -Be on alert W2-188. The commander is bringing the MANTIS prisoner here to meet with the Captain. They have been known to use every dirty trick in the book and usually go down fighting even when the odds are against them. - W2 has heard that MANTIS has a great AI benefits package. I knew an Octan Labor-bot that joined MANTIS, and has........ - Don't let the Commander hear you talking like that. She wouldn't hesitate to wipe your memory core. - - One Bug delivered as promised. - I have a question for you about MANTIS AI benefits. Is it true that AI's in MANTIS get vacation time and a retirement plan. - If you can get me out of here, I will make sure that you get any thin........ -That will be enough from you. Keep your mouth shut until the Captain gets here. - - Well I never thought I would see you again Dax. It sure is a small galaxy. I had heard rumors that you were shot down and....... - You not talk to the Captain unless speeked to first. - It's OK Thrugg. Hawk and I go back a long way. He has saved my life countless times in the service and can speak to me as he wishes. Plus you, me and Commander Aalyia need to have a talk about following my orders. He was not to be harmed. Please remove his restraints. Yes sir. Right away. - - It is good to see you again friend and I welcome you to my ship, the Tyrant. I had been watching you from a distance since you became Third branch executive. - I'd never take you as the space Pirate type. How did you manage to get your hands on a Kawashita freighter? -We prefer to be called the Thorn Mercenaries. We offer our services to many races here in Andromeda. Most of our clients don't trust the corporations, so they hire us to protect against them. Many of our recruits come from those races so please forgive my crew for their unfriendly actions. We could talk for hours catching up on the past but time is short. Your allies will be here soon thanks to Thrugg and we plan on being far from here when they arrive. - Why did you bring me here? You could have just sent me a holo message. - I have some sensitive information you might find interesting. I recently acquired it from a former client. Take this data card. Don't trust it with anyone in MANTIS. It will make more sense when you see it. The Commander Aalyia will fly you back to your speeder wreckage. It was good seeing you again friend. - Thank you and goodbye Dax. More pictures under the spoiler tag. Thanks for looking. It was a much longer story then I usually do so thanks for reading too. C&C welcomed.
