Quest For The Fountain Of Youth - Part V - The Letter
soccerkid6 replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice tie in to the previous build with the floor pattern and walld esign. The marble bust, plant, ship model, and scribes hard at work make for quite a pretty scene Excellent table and bookshelf too- 8 replies

Welcome to Eurobricks You've got a lot of great themes among your favorites, Black Falcons and Forestmen will always be some of my top Castle lines
-
Fun idea to make spaceships based off of car brands. The Audi is my favorite of the bunch, it looks quite quick and maneuverable
-
That is a sweet spaceship Great use of those large trans red windscreens, and the whole thing is well detailed and fits perfectly in the Space Police line Good to see you included an interior as well, and neat detachable drone

Very well composed scene, the climbing path and cliff look great Plus the forbidding figure on a warg looms threateningly over the scene from his perch above. The fence outside the house, and how you placed the blacksmith by the river cool too
-
Glad you like it, Captain Braunsfeld

I think your solution is very successful, you have quite a wide range of troll type figs here. And they all look unique and easily identifiable with different occupations

I was hesitant about joining AG at first, as I was already involved with several LEGO RPGs. But David FNJ, LittleJohn, and Mark of Falworth all helped me decide to join MANTIS, which I definitely haven't regretted. Being a castle MOCer, I've never done all that much sci-fi, but AG got me building it regularly, even building a SHIP! Plus getting to know lots of other great builders and storytellers was a blast Here's a look back at some of my favorite builds for AG:

LEGO VIP program questions for you!
soccerkid6 replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
1) I registered in store, to get the reward points on purchases, which is still what I mainly use the VIP program for. 2) VIP points, double VIP points, and extra freebies. 3) It hasn't influenced my interest in sets or themes. 4) Adult building events/challenges. Special offers. VIP Pick a Brick events with different part selection. 5) Just like any other valued customer. -
The idea of a spaceship flight simulator is really cool, and you executed it brilliantly Big Sal's cameo in the story was quite amusing as well

Great start to your Guilds of Historica building career! Your two characters do indeed look like a good team, and it's fun to see a giant in the guilds The cart makes great use of a cape for the cover on top, and that looks like quite a rugged path with those rocky cliffs

Thanks CB! And while they're all meant to fit together aesthetically, they don't actually connect to each other

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
@Pvt13: I'll do my best to answer your questions 1. No, each phase for Age of Mitgardia needs a new build. 2. Pretty much wherever you want, in general, we Mitgardian's aren't as formal as some of the guilds about 'claiming' land, and often just go with somewhat vague descriptions of where in Mitgardia different towns are located and suchlike. 3. Those prerequisites are only necessary to have your town/city 'registered'. Which is mainly just a way to keep track of what towns have been developed so far. That would be the Settlements of Historica, which you can check out here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=92705 4. UoP is University of Petraea, which you can learn more about here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=88352 -
Thanks azog!

Looks like a very functional cargo loading/unloading area The back wall looks great with the rough stone texture, and I like large barred window you included. The service ladder is an excellent detail too
-
Thanks John, it's my favorite as well, though I've always been partial to castles

I'll transfer my 43 credits to Big Sal

This is the last of 4 micros I built as prizes for the Guild Creation category of the Summer Joust. These 4 builds were meant to fit the category, so I focused on different aspects of the same civilization: castle, town, farm, and landscape. I chose to name it the Land of Rauor, as Rauor is the Norse word for red and I used red roofs to help tie all the models together. All 4 together: You can see more pictures on brickbuilt Thanks for looking, comments always appreciated

Thanks! And yeah, I rather wish I'd gotten more myself. Thanks Judges

Wonderful Gate first phase! I think your wooden wall looks great with the reinforcements by the gate itself The little stream and bridge are neat as well. Can't wait to see the next phases!
