  1. Being a big fan of the Tumbler, I do not see this at all. Looks more like a Ken Block hoonigan than a Batmobile. A a Technic set it does non offer anything the smallest set can. I got Doms Charger but built it into the pickup alternate fast. I understand the !ight thing in City sets aimed at kids, but here?
  2. TENTE has come back today. They are different enough not to call them a copy. There was even a jury sentence agreeing that in the day. A group of enthusiasts has reopened the factory using Exin's original moulds and added new pieces. https://www.iunits.es/
  3. As of today the general lines of 2022 cars have been released, but the individual car for each team will be public around the fist official tests next year. https://cdn.autobild.es/sites/navi.axelspringer.es/public/styles/480/public/media/image/2021/07/nuevo-coche-f1-2022-2407879.jpg
  4. Raw part count or weight is very rough method, little round 1x1 bricks count as an Speed Champions base? Are 3x2 bricks the same as a Technic gear? I understand also licenses get their money, but also makes sets more attractive. The final decision if a set is too expensive or not is made when buying it (or not)
  5. A lot of sets, such as Creator animals or City sets are really neutral. The most basic boxes are that, basic. I understand Speed Champions or Technic could be more "male oriented", but you can get Michele Mouton on the Audi S1 or Erica Enders in the dragster.
  6. Really nice!!!
  7. Recently got Toyota Supra. I do not like nor the real car neither the kit, but it is a nice donor of parts. To make the yellow Corvette CR8 I made also a PickaBrick purchase.
  8. There are 3 ways to do a Lego car: - 8stud wide system bricks (Speed Champions), my favourite. - Scale modelling approach, such as Creator Expert Mustang, VW van or Fiat 500 - Technic Supercars. In this case I understand the most important feature is the technical one, I mean the moving parts, such as fake engine, gearbox, differentials, suspension... Each one has advantages, limitations and priorities, and I think each one must stress that. If you want recognizable but playable cars, go Speed Champions. If you want scale modelling, go Creator Expert, but Technic must be... Technical, not?
  9. If you want 4WD with full 4WS you should go to modern off-roaders, they can do even a "crab walk" in diagonal direction to the car. Some military cars will do that as the french Arquus Scarab. Next electric Hummer I think also will.
  10. Very nice!!! 8wide, I suppose...
  11. Very nice Lincoln limo. Remember that at least 2 corpses must fit in the trunk.
  12. A car workshop/garage for 8stud cars
  13. Very nice!!!
  14. This set is very special for me, as it is the oldest I have and it was given to me when my young brother was born. I still had as 80% of the pieces, including the original stickers and minifig. I noticed the review is missing in the pictorial review list. To complete the set I got the missing pieces at Pickabrick in Lego official shop. Some of them are not in the list or not in the old colours. Original box from Brickinstructions: Here my pictures: The vehicle: The vehicle is a quite crude 4stud wide little truck. I said crude because in my later fire station set, trucks have a purpose built radiator piece and mudguards, and this has not both of them, radiator and mudguards are made by pure bricks only. It is quite sturdy to be played by an 5year old kid (tested with real kid). The building: The building also shows its age. Baseplates are quite big and different from normal plates, as the underside is no functional. Their colour has been altered by sun and time. The minifig is original, face was redrawn by my father, he is angry because 80% of mechanics we know are always angry. :D. White details are long gone. The building is small and very functional, with a lot of access to both office and working area. Office ceiling is no longer made in black so I opted for this solution. Decals are paper, not plastic covered as later, and they really show their age and use. Thanks for reading
  15. The front half of this: Looks like a 69 Toronado
  16. If we consider Speed Champions as part of City, the proper wide should be 8 or even more in bigger vehicles, so 2minifigs can sit side by side.
  17. I find it more interesting than the box one. Congratulations!!!
