  1. Just finished building both. The Vanquish is quite nice, sturdy and playable. My kid will love it. Maybe I try to make a dark green colour change in the future.
  2. REally nice!!! Finally a front engine Technic model!!!
  3. If I get this set is as as source of pieces for a Lotus/Aston Martin F1
  4. Impressive!!!
  5. Seems that the real one is not a great thing neither...
  6. I have just finished it. One of my favorites to date. Enjoyed both the build and the final result. Driver with proper clothing. I hate the rear wing, it was and extra and supposed no advantage, and the one in LEGO is flimsy
  7. I still think Charger wheels would fit better, at least in front
  8. Very nice, but the Countach will ever be the Countach
  9. I love the Valkyrie, but the Vantage seems a B-model for the Corvette C8R
  10. I love the F1 car, but the other one is a "generic LEGO supercar" and very difficult to tell apart from last year's modern Corvette or the Lambo without stickwrs
  11. I love this set. The rear spoiler was an extra. The minifig should wear red trousers, a blue Hawaiian shirt and axe sideburns.
  12. Love it!!!
  13. Aparte from the livery, I like the official set. It could be worse, we could have gotten a full pink Alpine...
  14. Pullrod front and pushrod rear? Video is too fast...
  15. I consider myself an advanced F1 fan, trying to understand technical solutions and reading the regulations. Releasing an accurate 2022 car before time would leak critical information about the real car approach: wheelbase, sidepods lenght or floor sides, and more important, suspension setup. This year cars rely on floor effect, as in the 80s, and the new 18"" wheels will make suspensions differently. Up to date, we have only seen a real car, the Aston Martin. On the other side, the livery and the colours change from race to race, sometimes to adapt to artificial lightning in night desert races, or they do special liveries for a certain event, such as Monaco, an anniversary or the release of a movie. So it can change later.
  16. The "thing" presented today looks a lot as a FIA model in team livery, but very little is seen on the video. The only true 2022 car presented is the Aston Martin, there are even videos of it on track at Silverstone today https://twitter.com/AstonMartinF1/status/1492108160672448517/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1492108160672448517|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fes.motorsport.com%2Ff1%2Fnews%2Fvideo-primer-coche-formula1-2022-pista-aston-martin%2F8078781%2F https://cdn-1.motorsport.com/images/amp/6O1nLNP2/s1000/lance-stroll-aston-martin-1.webp
  17. We have still not seem the 2022 car. There are pictures of the FIA model presented last year on team liveries. The only 2022 car seen to date has been the Aston Martin and even that is not definitive. In F1 forums the LEGO model has rised high expectations because some people believes it is more accurate than the renders seen. In fact the LEGO set seems to have pull rod suspension both front and rear, as experts suspected. The real car will not be revealed until Abu Dhabi test.
