  1. Hi, I was a child growing up throughout the 90s and 2000s, so LEGO sets and games from this time period really appealed to me and I have strong nostalgia for. This was a time of LEGO video games companies such as LEGO Media, LEGO Software, and LEGO Interactive. The LEGO themes which most appealed towards me were Lego Town, Lego City, and Lego World City. I had some Lego Adventurers and some other various LEGO sets too. I always thought Lego Arctic was cool, but I never bought such sets. Lego Racers 2 was released within the year 2001. I played Lego Racers 2, but never Lego Racers 1. The game had actual existing LEGO sets throughout the game, along with imaginary free build creations. Whilst the world environments were not made out of LEGO or plastic, I feel they blended nicely together with the LEGO creations. It was like the creation of a child's imagination, with running water and weather patterns. This LEGO game has the most appeal for me because of the strong nostalgia that I hold for LEGO in general around that time period. I tried more modern LEGO games, such as LEGO 2K Drive, but for me they do not hold the same fondness as Lego Racers 2. The different worlds gave players different environments and experiences. I was really happy to drive my car around these worlds as a child, and had always dreamed of more games inspired by this. The game had the following themed worlds: Sandy Bay --- Lego Town Dino Island --- Lego Adventurers Mars --- Lego Space (Life on Mars) The Arctic --- Lego Arctic Xalax --- Crash It Racers (Xalax) On Rock Raiders United before they archived their entire forum, I was somewhat active on a forum about a Lego Racers 2 remake. I do not hold any skills required for such project, but I was expressing my dream. I would absolutely love to see Lego Racers 2 remade. If not that, perhaps something new inspired from that nostalgia time period. I understand we cannot stay living in the past, but even today, I hold a strong love for Lego Racers 2 and what that game offered. With my actual LEGO collection, I imagined having races throughout my own LEGO town. What are your thoughts about Lego Racers 2? Did you play it? Would you love a remake?
  2. Hello AFOLs, I am glad to announce that the instructions for the Lego Racers Car Collection is now complete! Included is the 87-page instructions to build all 24 Racers, Decals for Rocket Racer/Veronica Voltage, and a Minifigure Guide (Used to better display each minifig since all necessary parts were not in .LDR). This is all being offered for free. To receive your own manual, simply PM me or contact me via email at chrdvorak@hotmail.com and you will receive a manual. Here are some screenshots from the manual:
  3. Hello AFOLs, I have been working on a project recently that will commence in an instruction manual for all cars and figures included in Lego Racers, the PC game. I have just finished up the manual section for circuits 1 & 5 and am willing to share that with the community. The complete manual will require a small fee to obtain once it is done ($5-$10), but I am willing to share the first part of it with everyone. I am going to work on getting a bricklink list together for these individual circuits, and will share that when it is done. 4. What do you think will be coming out of the Speed Champions series in 2021? Personally, I think there is a chance for something from IMSA. There may be such sets: Corvette C7.R (small set) Koenigsegg Jesco (small set) Porsche Taycan (small set) Toyota Ts050 Hybrid (double set) Aston Martin Vulcan or Vantage GTE (double set) And maybe something else with hypercar because of the WEC season 2020/2021
