  1. I heared about it like almost half a year ago on the "Bumper2Bumper" episode on this car (DonutMedia)
  2. As a Gearbox guy I feel personally offended by this I made this compact 4-speed transmission prototype for you, took me like 15 minutes. Please consider using it. It shoud work with a similar shift system. The tan Gears are supposed to be the blue ones from the Bugatti, I just dont have any left. You might have to switch up some stuff, depending on what axle is your Input and which is your ourput.
  3. Well, damn. Sorry to to hear this my dude, but no blueprins is a big NO for me as well. But keep it up! @Jim Maybe could delete this Thread then, there is no need bloat the Forum...
  4. Nice choice, its a fairly good looking car imo(as long as it doesn't have the blue nose). The Bodywork will be a challenge. The Front and Side Pic could work for the Model Scaler, and yes, you were right, there are no blueprints for this car, damn. Which color is your model going to be?
  5. There are a lot of Cars I like, but there ore only very few cars I really love. You just got to feel it, thinking about it is not for me. Just dont pick anything you cannot complete, so some thinking is still required...
  6. Nice, the color sceme is very cool, it looks way better without the stickers imo :)
  7. Soft Springs? For real? I dont doubt you are able to create a very light unibody, especially if the car is not modelled after a real car, so you have more freedom in panel placement. But do think hard springs will be nececary.
  8. I would be suprised if you can keep the weight below 2.5 kg. My NSX weighs in at like 2.9 kg, and there are no electronics involved Still, 2 Hard springs per wheel should be able to support 3kg as well. Good thing you are using a solid rear axle, this way the shocks dont have to face the leverage disadvantage which exists in a independent suspension setup.
  9. Wow, very clever, I thought it would work something like that after seing it move in the Video. I thought you were going for for a Truck-Like rim sepup, so the front wheels have less depth than the rear ones. This definatelly works as well.
  10. Very impressive performance, and intresting suspension setup. Can you post some more pictures of how the rear suspension works? The color combination is a bit...experimental? But it fits the overall sceme of the Vehicle. I like the the Land Rover rims, but I would have preferred them on all wheels. The only thing I dislike is the front, it looks like a weird smily face. Overall a very mean offroad machine.
  11. Very nice, I liked the Anime a lot, and this tank is represented very well. And this model is probably faster than 90% of the Supercars on this Forum, so, impressive performance.
  12. Instructions are now available on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-30093/Gray_Gear/moc-90s-honda-nsx/#comments I hope you like them. A huge thank you to @Thorsten50, who made these instructions possible in the first place Gray Gear
  13. Just watched the video, nicely done - I am also more of a Control- kind of guy XD
  14. Cute model, thank you, this made me smile somehow
  15. Video out now, I hope you like It This is the first time I did any filming/video editing in my life
  16. Wow, these burrs really are bad. I have some fake chinese gears here and even those look a lot better I never realized the changes because I always used the old ones, gray gears look that much better than their tan counterparts
  17. Wow, I take it back, these Headlights look pretty good, but I did not even notice them. But when they are on they look very mean, NICE
  18. Okay... Cool engine, and very...different body styling. I myself miss a nice pair of eyes in front, so please add some proper headlights. Futuristic or oldscool headlights, both would probably fit well
  19. How do I remove a quote on mobile? Well, I am looking forward to a build utilizing this gearbox. It would find this pretty hard to incorporate in a Sportscar, as this design takes up quite a lot of vertical and horizontal space. But might be able to handle more torque than other gearboxes, so it might be good for Trucks?
  20. Wow, I dont know about the math, but is there a better way to get this distance between the gears? Using Technic Bricks, ones with different hole placements as well, does not seem very practical to me.
  21. Ill probably release the Instructions this weekend, I have been busy filming a video to go along with it the last few days, and I still have edit it
  22. Can you please post some pictures? I dont seem to be able to imagine what you are describing, but I am always intrested in Gearbox/transmission stuff
  23. YES! this is a great Idea, it would increase climbing potential by a lot! Or you could make it two sections with 4 wheels each, connected to one full length frame, that can pivot forwards and backwards as well, kind of like the Suspension used on some older Tanks (M4 Sherman had this I believe)
  24. I would love to have more "transmission gears", I do see what you did there, but how can you control which gears should transfer power? Also, while it is cool, this takes up more space than the 4-Speed from the Bugatti.
