  1. That also means you can attach a different size clutch gear to the diff. Hopefully the big gear isn't fixed to the diff :0
  2. Wow, seeing this all your collections makes me kind of jealous, it looks so awesome ... I have my fair share of technic models as well, but it seems that I can't keep anything built for more than a few weeks before I kill it for parts :( My goal is to have the following 3 cars on one shelf: - Honda NSX - Mazda RX7 FD - Nissan R32 GTR But It will still take quite sone time to achieve that goal...
  3. I joined the Dark Side of the Brick if ya know what I mean XD These are full sized Wheelarches like you find them on the 911 GT3 RS, to get that out of the way.
  4. *Insert video of huge LEGO crawler crane lifting a chair here* Yeah, it seems like a fairly good model, if you are into construction vehicles
  5. Well, I think using the small gear side from the old diff will still be better for my purpose. At least I dont have to bricklink this piece for like 8€
  6. I want it for center diff in a AWD car, so it would be exactly what I want, but not such a huge gear?!
  7. ...As long as you dont lift heavy objects
  8. When I heared "mated to a clutch gear" I expected the diff to be able to be mated eith any clutch gear...but looking at this it seems like the Diff is somehow inside of the gear, which makes using smaller gears impossible :(
  9. I dont know why I even said that, I could not care less about torque, all that matters is that I need a small center diff. I only build manual sportscars, so mud won't be a problem :)
  10. I just hope the diff will allow for a better transmisson integrated center diff New gear is cool Rest does not matter
  11. Well, all jokes aside, I hope the preassembled diffs will at least be able to handle more torque than the current ones
  12. The double is important, I just tried and had no issues assembling a diff with only my left hand, and left is my weak hand too. Without putting the diff on a table or something like that, so anyone should be able to do it no problem
  13. How is assembling diffs hard for anybody? What the hell are you doing?
  14. Look at the small black panel in the lower middle, that should anwer your question :)
  15. I wish they would make a 3l diff, with a normal 16 tooth gear on only one end. Would make a great center diff.
  16. The boom is 4 studs wide...who in their right mind would built even width in Technic?
  17. This thing is really ugly. The worst thing is the front splitter that is bent upwards, therefore directing more air under the car, pruducing lift. I am always intrested in new Bricks tho
  18. While the rotors are visible in the engine, they are still almost invisible right now because of their black color. I will change the Rotor color to yellow later. Here you can see a single rotor prototype I made a while back :)
  19. Thank you I have heared that stud.io can generate good instructions, but only for certain models. Is it worth to try it?
  20. I am sorry to disappoint, but my models will always be manual, to fit my 6 speed manual transmission. I love transmission building To be honest trying to move a 3kg Model at reasonable speed with LEGO motors seems almost impossible to me
  21. ! This is a WIP thread, so please scroll down to see the latest progress ! Hi there, this the car I have been working on since I finished the NSX, a Mazda RX7 with a complete bodykit from the Rotary Tuner "RE: Amemiya". This is the first LEGO car I know of which features a rotary engine with rotors moving like the real thing. I developed the engine just so I can build this car, and I am very happy with the result. I left the front of the engine open, so you can see the rotors moving inside. This is still very much a WIP, but i think you can get a good idea of where this project is going. I hope y'all like it Gray Gear
  22. Hi there, this is a Chrismas present for my little sister, a Brickheadz style figure of her favorite character Origami from a anime called "Date A Live". If I want to gift this to my sister I will obviously need to have building instructions as well. I can work with LDD and LDCad, but I dont know any further.Help would be greatly appreaciated This is the first time for me posting outside of the "Technic and Model Team" section, and the first time I built something like this. I hope I posted at the right place. Gray Gear
