  1. Well done, I like the black version best. I agree with @Brandon Pea he LFA definatelly isn't getting as much love as it should.
  2. So cool I watched the rebooted series, and I believe mathilda had spinner disc on the rear there. I still remember how she went up in flames after being pierced by that crazy silver hydraulic claw robot
  3. As somebody who has joined the Dark Side of the Brick I can assure you this is nothing special at all. Chinese MOC copys are all over the place, and most dont even credit the creator. I have seen some MOCs where the seller only sells the Bricks and links the creators Rebrickable for the instructions, but it's sadly that's quite rare.
  4. Very nicely done I love the use of the 1x2 bricks modified to create a slender waist on the girl Her pet looks like an absolute beast, and you can really see the businesswoman and the boy in the trashcan think the same thing
  5. Thats why I don't put motors in my models in the first place. I just want the satisfaction of a smoothly working gearbox.
  6. Looks pretty nice this far. How the hell can you build a car shell without the mechanisms inside? I always build the mechanisms first, and then shape the car around it...Well you do you I guess, It looks like you know what you are doing Love the sausage brake solution But I agree with @Touc4nx , do some good looking mirrors. You are not TLG, it does not matter if the model will end up a few bucks more expensive The one thing I really absolutely hate is the 2 joint pieces used to connect the shift motor to the gearbox. There has to be a better solution than that. It am having flashback from seeing the Land Rover gearbox,
  7. Okay, thats understandable . I built with a limited Brick collection as well for a very long time, but now I earn some money, so now mostly time is the issue when making new models
  8. @BB8 Will you disasseble the model again? I keep my models built, so I have to order a hell lot of pieces for every build. So I would convert the whole car to red. I will convert my Honda NSX MOC to red in the future as well, but for a different reason And with a 4-Speed gearbox, you should be able to change the gearbox mistake fairly easy, right? I like EVOs
  9. Nice to see another JDM car guy here The model looks like it has potential, but: Why are wheel arches in the Front a different color? Why is the engine rpm going up when you shift to a higher gear? The rpm should decrease when shifting up under constant wheel speed... Also its kinda weird how the rear wheel arch is more narrow than the front one, is that really like that on the real counterpart? You still have some work to do imo Keep it up
  10. You are right, blue an bronze wheels is a great combo too - Especially for Subaru WRX / Forester STI
  11. @T Lego Bronze wheels look killer on white cars... And not on much else. At least in my opinion
  12. I tried using crankshaft pieces too, and while that definatelly makes for a very compact mechanism, it can only do a very unsatisfying and unrealistic firing order. I guess in your case there was no choice due to space issues
  13. I dont really like the oval shaped cabin, but thats just my taste. But it should help this beast to climb really steep slopes, with all the weight in front it won't tip over. I am waiting for some impressive offroading
  14. Yeah, I can see where you are coming from looking at that 6l Liftarm...
  15. @amorti how would that help? I mean that the pistons only move on 1/4th of the crankshafts rotation, and not all the time, like when using a real crankshaft.
  16. I used this to make a RB26dett, and in a Inline 6 engine you can't use the normal engine components, because 14 studs of length is just way too much. So this seemed like the best solution to me You are right, the piston movement isnt very continuous, but meh, what can I do.
  17. Yeah, I expected I wasn't the first to think of that. I tested it using a V6, but it didn't work very well...
  18. Hi there I got the idea to use the small pins with stud on top as cylinders for a fake engine. It allows the pistons to be very short, without a stop underneath/above to keep them in place. I kinda dont want to show you my complete RB26dett engine as it is part of a MOC I am working on, so you'll have to live with this little mockup guy for now Sadly this system only works for inline engines, as the pins wont go back down when at an angle, like in a V-engine. The engine runs incredibly smooth, and there is basically no resistance or rev limit. Gray Gear
  19. Impressive you could squeeze all these functions in such a small package But not being able to shoot and aim at the same time kinda sucks
  20. Very nice Water looks great, and the of the serpents looks smooth, even though they are twisted in different directions
  21. Damn. Well done. Looks just like its real countercounterpart . And it's a B model as well
  22. Good job my dude. Looks great, and the spoiler going up when shifting is a nice touch. The new wheels look great. But as a gearbox enthusiast a 2 speed gearbox does not satisfy me at all. It should be possible to squeeze a 4 speed with the wave selector in a car that size. And I wish the print on the wheel arches wasn't there, it looks so clean everywhere else...
  23. Welcome! You remind me of myself, I am 21yo too, (I never had a Dark age tho), but I was MOC ing with a fairly limited colledtion of Bricks for a very long time (But I earn a little money now)
