  1. Oh my god, this is even worse than I thought...Not only does this thing have the Veilside kit which just kills the RX7s beauty beyond recogniton, but it is engine swapped as well, and with a goddamn 4Banger no less? At least swap something worthy like a RB26 or a 2JZ, or an LS if you have to... I love the RX7, and to me this is about the worst thing you can do to a RX7. Just my opinion tho.
  2. Yeah, while 2 hard shocks per wheel are enough to lift a 3-4 kg model, that is only true if the shocks are not in a leverage disatvantage, like in the bugatti. I had to use 4 hard shocks per wheel in the rear on my last moc as well because the shocks are mounted in the middle of the lower wishbone and thus lose 50% of their strength.
  3. Wow, what the hell? I didn't even realise that happened...how long ago was it?
  4. @anikingsomething seems to be wrong with the panels behind the rear wheel arches...On my model is is at an angle, and on yours it looks staight and pushed further inside
  5. LEGO gears are still a bit better than any other alternative. I use non-LEGO bricks in my MOCs, but for the drivetrain and stuff I still only use original LEGO bricks. But CADA quality works fine as well.
  6. Wow, very impressive, especially for a B model. The only thing I dislike are the headlights, the flex hoses just dont look good imo. But everything else, very nice.
  7. Agreed, I watched every single video a while back.
  8. LEGO 46490 planetary gear wheel hub might work, it may be a wheel hub but it can be used to gear down fast/slow as well:
  9. If you are confident in doing different Bodykit versions, why dont you go ahead and MOC it right away? No need to wait for TLG to release the cars you like, and if you do it yourself it might even look good
  10. The Dark Side of the Brick was referring to the non-LEGO Brick community, not to CADA. There are a lot of companys that pruduce Bricks themselves and have great original Designs, but you have to know a thing or two to not end up with bad quality bricks. Most LEGO alternatives have good brick quality, just not as perfect as LEGO. But some Brands still sell absolute trash :/
  11. I absolutely love this The car looks just like something that could be found on a japanese car meet. Using 2 Buggy motors I bet she can scoot too The rear is giving me some Mitsubishi Eclipe vibes, and the dedailed engine bay with the turbocharged 4Banger is accurate. NOS System is cool, I first thought it was an air suspension system The only thing I dislike is the scissor door conversion, I just dont like people doing that, but it definatelly is something that can be found on a ricecooker like this Normally I absolutely hate stickers, but car wraps are different since they aren't used to represent details of the actual car. Impressive how well the sticker lines up even though the girl gets cut in half when the door opens
  12. On The Dark Side of the Brick Cada is known for good brick quality and original designs. They produce the Bricks themself. There is less color vomit, but sadly they still use blue pins as well. I have heared only good things about the CADA AE86, and who doesn't like Initial D ?
  13. I would not mind. I would put the fins in the same category as fender flares or aero pieces, that extend over the normal body of the car. But I am not the judge so... Looks pretty good, those curves really are hard to replicate with bricks.
  14. Ooh, yeah I am sick of this as well. Reading the rules seems to be a challenge
  15. What is looking awesome? Was there some progress that got deleted? Looks like another idea reservation to me...
  16. I like the custom electronics, very cool. You can see a lot of work was put into this model. I would suggest you try using sariels model scaler in the future, just to get the proportions right. http://scaler.sariel.pl/ I dont want to hate on your model, but it is visible that you just eyeballed it. Compare this pic to the frame at 1.30 in your vid. The real counterpart has a lower roofline, the cockpit is further in the front, and the front wheel aches are way different to. You did choose a really difficult car, so it is impossible to get everything perfect, and you did a pretty good job. But using the scaler will help you as much as it is helping me, and it is helping me a lot The Wheels are probably done as good as possible, and they look really nice, even though they give the car a weird scale. Well done, keep it up! The model scaler is best used with blueprints, and blueprints exist for almost every car, like this one
  17. It looks realy weird, like the picture's width was reduced by a lot to make it square. The video has way to many effects and filters, there is almost no chance to see the model well like it is in reality. Edit: @Go-Kart you were right, on my PC the pic is normal, but not on my phone
  18. My biggest concern: Does the transmisson work smoothly? It might just be the most complicated shift mechanism in existance
  19. Thank you so much, you have no Idea how much this picture means to me. Someone actually completed it... I am happy you like it. And you even removed all the differtly colored pins as well...NICE
  20. It could also be meth/water injection, this thing might need some additional cooling , I cant see a radiator The MOC I am working on has a water injection system as well
  21. I love the massive Wing on the back What's in that tank in the back? Just fuel or ist that some kind of nitrous system?
  22. I guess you focused more on the RC version, and the manual option was done afterwards? I believe the RC version is better
  23. Intresting engine+steering setup. I like japanese cars a lot, so do your best Isn't it called Nissan 370Z tho?
  24. The bodywork disign looks pretty nice, and apart from the Hood it is fairly smooth as well Mounting the wheel arch pieces to achieve some curvature is a great technique, I used it in my latest MOC as well The steering system and drivetrain are just terrible imo, I am sorry, but using so many universal joints and 8t gears just calls for trouble.
